Similiar to Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid has good functionality and a solid repository of templates for use
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is better for personal use. Wish that the functionality was better built out for use on IpadPro
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming is a great use case. Also swim lane templates and process flow diagrams have been useful
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The UX of Miro should be replicated
Must-Have Tool for Collaboration and Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
Many helpful features - especially for collaboration. The ability to easily assign colors to collaborators to differentiate source of contributions has been very handy.
A Lucidspark board has endless possibilities. You can have and use as much or as little space as you want. It is easy for me to do a brain dump - get all those ideas out on the board - and then it's easy to organize my thoughts with containers.

What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation of the tool is a bit clunky and may take some getting used to. Mainly the ability to zoom in and out was not as intuitive as other tools.
Also the ability to quickly create sticky notes and get thoughts out is a bit hidden. There's a way to do it but I needed someone to point it out to me where the feature was.
Also the ability to quickly create sticky notes and get thoughts out is a bit hidden. There's a way to do it but I needed someone to point it out to me where the feature was.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly needed a space where I could dump my thoughts in various forms (text, pictures) and be able to organize them - work through problems and thoughts visually. Secondly, I needed that space to be collaborative. I need to easily share the space with others to get feedback and iterate.
The compatibility between Lucidspark and Lucidchart is also handy. Once we've brainstormed an idea, we can export to Lucidspark and polish up the content for presentation. I've been able to work through several ideas / problems with colleagues and inspire others to use similar methods for their own work.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try! It may take some time and effort to fully adopt the tool but it's worth it!
Great Online Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Is to quickly draw up flow charts and process flows. So fast it can be done during a meeting with out getting behind on any conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside I can say is the monthly fee required for more pieces in a document however this isn't a bad thing as every company has to make money somewhere. I think lucid chart is great and have used it for 5+ years
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Programming and creating a production process flow plan
Easy to use, great UI, overall awesome app from the Lucid Team.
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Lucidspark is being able to easily add images and share a universal link with team members in order to simultaneously work on a board is a very important reason why I love this product. As well as giving the ability to create infinite white boards, that will grow as per your necessity. Having used their Lucidchart application in a previous role for a couple years I came to love the Lucid Team's products. And their free virtual trainings to be able to use them at a full potential are absolutely amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the free app version it does have limited boards, which is not a big deal breaker for me but it would be nicer to have at least 5 instead of 3 free boards. It can also be a little complicated to get team members to participate in the brainstorming sessions using a board, since it requests for them to log in each time they have to access a board in a session.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been an incredibly helpful tool for having my brainstorming sessions for Agile Teams Retrospective meetings and Kata planning sessions as the team's Agile coach, it is easy to use and the UI is very clean and simple, which is good for a new application to try to implement with a team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for an easy to use tool for sharing a great brainstorming experience Lucidspark could be the one for you, coming from the Lucid team, if you have any experience using Lucidchart you will probably love this app as well.
Really great
What do you like best about the product?
Fast and easy to use - intuitive to pick up
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really anything, it functions as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to visualize things quickly and easily for the team to see the bigger picture, and it's better than writing out large documents.
Compatibility and a wide range of functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
I like most the possibility of integration results from Lucidchart and reverse.
So we can analyze and visualize in a more sophisticated way. That means in meetings and workshops we don't only work with dumbly integrated pictures from data bases. We use the data from different tables for conditional formattings and charts we want to work with.

What do you dislike about the product?
I miss a framing for different content on a canvas.
This frames can be used in a presentation mode or for structuring the content for an export in an automated way as well.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Among others we use Lucidspark to draw templates in an artificial way and use this as background for our charts in Lucidchart.
In digital meetings or workshops everyone is able to put their thoughts on a canvas and can work together or parallelly in a "big" room.
There is no one wasted for taking notes anymore.
And we save time in post-processing for editing the thoughts to a presentable result.

If you are indecisive then contact Lucid and the outstanding customer support surely may help you.
Look for the wide range of functunailites you can use with Lucid we haven't found in portfolio of a competitor.
And we've also got a very smart, nice and individual offer for using both tools in combination appropriate to our recent and coming use cases.

I find it very practical for brainstorming exercises.
What do you like best about the product?
the practicality for collaborating, the templates used for the exercises
What do you dislike about the product?
that it does not have tabs to do more than one exercise, that it is managed as a separate license from Lucidchart
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
templates for collaboration are much more practical
Great features once you can find them
What do you like best about the product?
I like that LucidChart has a wide variety of shapes and templates to start drawing process flows. There is no other competitor that offers the same degree of customization. I also like that sharing is easy, and I can get a shareable URL for view-only or edit privileges, with the added security of limiting to a certain professional group. I like that, once you get the hang of the features, it's fairly easy to connect shapes with various lines and arrows. There's a good number of straightforward yet customizable connectors, which are some of the most important features for my team as we devise simultaneous process flows. I also like that changes are automatically saved so I can work without worrying about manually saving. The export feature and the multitude of file types for export is incredibly handy, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the learning curve is pretty steep. While the various features, shapes, and connectors are nice once you've figured out the basics, there's an overwhelming number of options that may be difficult to navigate for a novice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so much easier to share team-wide process charts with LucidChart's link sharing as well as the ability to add users to an entire folder. LucidChart is also much easier to use than Visio, from my experience, because the browser application offers full functionality, whereas Visio's browser app, which is the only version available for macOS, has incredibly limited and functional design. LucidChart has also made it so much easier to draw complex, multi-swimlane diagrams because of how easy it is to zoom in and out and track more than one component at a time. There are handy defaults and templates to start from, too.
Free tier that is very good, useful, and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The drag and drop functionality, as well as the infinite page size are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "snap" function of arrows between objects could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having multiple flowcharts on a really big canvas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great white board and cloud solution. I used to use Visio, yet Visio is expensive.
Easy to collaborate and show to other users and add users.
Easy to collaborate and show to other users and add users.
Exciting tool with many possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to share visualizations with colleagues quickly and collaborate / brainstorm in a virtual setting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven’t tried it enough yet to fairly say, but in my experience I wish the text editing features were easier to use and more flexible in terms of formatting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During a time where I am working remotely, it’s an easy tool to use from anywhere.
