Great tools but it's very finicky. Needs more shortcuts!

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the shapes and the text features!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the finickiness of it – I'm a younger person and it's hard to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love being able to make mind maps. It's REALLY good for essay writing because you have a lot of disconnected thoughts floating around, and you get to connect them with Lucidspark.

What do you like best about the product?
It strikes a balance of features and simplicity, and just has a very natural feel to it.

One of the best tools to create wireframes along with my team members for tech projects

  • February 26, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The availability of a variety of tools/icons, even in the free version. Designing screens is very easy to learn on this platform. I was amazed at how easy it was to start working on a platform without having to go through an extensive training prior to starting! It has very user friendly tools as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find any downsides other than the limitations on the free plan. But we understand that you cannot provide unlimited service for free to all your users, so that's not really a complain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to create wireframes or screen designs for our clients on behalf of our development team. We note all the requirements of the client and create wireframes to be given to the Development team for software development.
This task has been significantly easier for the whole BA team since we started using Lucidspark. The feature of being able to share the screen with our team members allows us to work on a project together from different locations, and was wonderful when we were working from home.
The clients were happy as well, as we put their visualisations on screen and they could ascertain if we understood their requirements correctly. Making edits and changes is easy as wel.

  • January 21, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

Miro is better for personal use. Wish that the functionality was better built out for use on IpadPro

Must-Have Tool for Collaboration and Brainstorming

  • January 13, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Many helpful features - especially for collaboration. The ability to easily assign colors to collaborators to differentiate source of contributions has been very handy.
A Lucidspark board has endless possibilities. You can have and use as much or as little space as you want. It is easy for me to do a brain dump - get all those ideas out on the board - and then it's easy to organize my thoughts with containers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation of the tool is a bit clunky and may take some getting used to. Mainly the ability to zoom in and out was not as intuitive as other tools.
Also the ability to quickly create sticky notes and get thoughts out is a bit hidden. There's a way to do it but I needed someone to point it out to me where the feature was.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly needed a space where I could dump my thoughts in various forms (text, pictures) and be able to organize them - work through problems and thoughts visually. Secondly, I needed that space to be collaborative. I need to easily share the space with others to get feedback and iterate.
The compatibility between Lucidspark and Lucidchart is also handy. Once we've brainstormed an idea, we can export to Lucidspark and polish up the content for presentation. I've been able to work through several ideas / problems with colleagues and inspire others to use similar methods for their own work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try! It may take some time and effort to fully adopt the tool but it's worth it!

    Transportation/Trucking/Railroad

Great Online Platform

  • January 12, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Is to quickly draw up flow charts and process flows. So fast it can be done during a meeting with out getting behind on any conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside I can say is the monthly fee required for more pieces in a document however this isn't a bad thing as every company has to make money somewhere. I think lucid chart is great and have used it for 5+ years
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Programming and creating a production process flow plan
