You want charts? Lucidchart does them right
What do you like best about the product?
It makes excellent diagrams, images for standard tools are already available, creating flow is very intuitive! Because it always runs in the browser, there is little barrier to entry for getting started and presenting. Collaboration tools are also very convenient!
What do you dislike about the product?
While Lucidchart does offer an offline mode, I feel less secure using it than a native desktop application. A dedicated desktop application would be a nice touch. Perhaps I'm naive to assume that the performance could be slightly better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a DevOps engineer, diagraming and explaining the infrastructure is crucial. Lucidchart makes it easy to develop and plan infrastructure with a team and share that information with management.

The ease of use to create something simple or complex for that matter and making it visually pleasing to look at.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of some instructions and a handy guide of the purpose for each shape or tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to pitch a business process involving multiple parties and making visually easy to explain that process.

Flexibility and collaboration better than Mural, plus with much more powerful drawing/diagramming feautures - prefer some aspects to Visio.
Plus, unlike Mural the diagram output is polished enough to copy/paste into presentations.

I'm fairly new to the product but haven't seen any real limitations/constraints to the core product.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily using for roadmap planning activities/diagrams with varying degrees of information for different audiences. Lucidchart makes it relatively painless to do this.

I love how intuitive it is. I didn't actually do any training prior to logging in and I had it mostly figured out within 15-minutes.

Not much. I know I don't know all the functionalities yet. But for my use of building process flow, it was perfect.

I am building workflows because we purchased a new system in my department. We wanted one place to track the entire process so we are using Lucid Chart

Lots of shapes and templates that are already built in

Can be a little challenging to navigate as a new user, hard to find a specific item if there is a lot on the page, It would be better to copy and paste things in an organized way.

Logical Data Model for a large project, I like the ability to share with other team members so they can easily view the same diagram and what I created.

I use Lucidchart for quick visualization, and it provides the ease of use and speed I want.
It's an easy to draw app with many options to export to adf

Can maximise to any space, can customise the chart and easy to export to any format.

Great Visio Replacement
What do you like best about the product?
I used to use Microsoft Visio, but after running into multiple issues with microsoft, I switched to Lucid Chart.
My favorite aspect is that it works in the browser, so I can make charts from any computer I'm working on without having to buy a new license or install it on another machine. As a consultant that often travels, this is a huge selling point.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I've had was some lag while trying to make charts on linux in the past.
It could be due to proprietary nvidia video drivers and not the app to blame.

I often make Org Charts for clients, map out processes and outcomes with flow charts or create a diagram to represent a complex subject visually. I like that I can export these as a PDF for my clients will have a copy.

If you want to find a Visio alternative, I suggest Lucidchart.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use right out of the box. Very intuitive and the templates save a ton of time. Highly recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish the 'enterprise' version made more sense for a small business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems per se, but the benefits of being able to start working and developing a client-facing solution is so much faster than starting from scratch.

The free trial is worth the time to kick the tires. Dive into the templates to get a headstart.

I wish it wasn't so touchy when moving items around & I wish there was an easier way to align items or make them all the same size.

We are working on our flow chart for our research studies. Its a great way to visualize what we need to get done!
