Brilliant Tool for team brainstorming and remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to share ideas creatively, build thought flows on a collaborative canvas
What do you dislike about the product?
No iPad app, that makes it challenging when you want to sketch or write
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative brainstorming for our new startup, this app helped us plan better, we have used other simpler boards like Jamboard or the default board that comes with Zoom, but the outcome of the sprints was not achieved, this changed with Lucid Spark

What do you dislike about the product?
Not all customers are used to get a link to a web portal, in order to view a project deliverable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is one of my favorite diagraming tools.
I use it mostly when I want to make a complex site map for a new product I’m working on.
You can also use it to present artifacts from your research, and make a cool inspiration board.

LucidChart Whiteboarding Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I love the completely open canvas and the ability to use a stylus to draw freely. Connecting thoughts this way is much like using a digital dry-erase board. I really like the containers, which help me compartmentalize the aspects of a project for easy viewing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like LucidSpark is a bit redundant in it's purpose. I have been using LucidChart to do this long before spark was available. While there isn't the freestyle drawing aspect in LC, there are templates, such as the mind map, that achieve the same goal for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is using Lucidspark to hash out marketing tools for a new project we're working on. We have been able to collaborate in a more free-style fashion because of the nature of the program. I can see myself using this tool to collaborate on gathering requirements and rough drafts of burgeoning ideas.
Digital whiteboard to simplify the collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
I love collaborating on charts. It's to be reviewed usually by many individuals when developing operations therefore folks truly notice your procedure chart, comment on it as well as recommend changes, actually make adjustments within Lucidspark. It's additionally exciting that a lot of functionalities and integrations are currently offered to me but which I can preserve them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to see whether community users are able to make suggestions about what they really want to find out on the guides based on the type of theirs of industry. I am aware of guides ought to be big so that they are able to be of wider use, but I also believe that individuals are able to make use of them a lot more for most Lucidspark's products in case you are able to filter by industry. It should not be very extensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The previous templates are fantastic for producing suggestions on how Lucidspark is further implemented into the different processes of ours, and also for our person education. It was a fantastic tool to explain procedures on the staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Plan the chart of yours in advance so that you do not have way too many changes to make. I find it requires a very long time in case I'm very distant from the process of mine and have significant changes to generate to rearrange the styles into the correct order.
A must have tool to express ideas whether technical or business related.
What do you like best about the product?
I mostly do technical diagrams like flow charts and ERDs. Lucidchart provides so many different diagrams and even in that so many templates to choose from.
Using Lucidchart also educates you in a way, where you get to understand which diagram is the best to use for the requirment in question.
Add to that the UX is slick. You don't have to spend hours to make that connector connect cleanly to that box!

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing.
That said, you can borrow an idea or two from websequencediagrams. They provide a pretty easy way to type and created sequence diagrams.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On a day to day basis, i do all my technical diagrams like data modelling and flow charting using lucidchart.
The ease of use and the ample templates is what attracts me the most.
The ease of use and the ample templates is what attracts me the most.
In the beginning, there was chaos. Then, Lucidchart stepped into my life.
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is stupid simple. Some power users would probably laugh at how simple my Lucidchart implementations are — 90% of the time it's "open up one of my templates with the 6 different colored shapes I use, then start typing stuff in those shapes and dragging arrows between them".
The charts end up looking great. I actually use LucidChart to make the charts when I'm filming videos teaching Zoho CRM concepts, because they're so visually appealing and simple.
Also — the cloud architecture is wonderful and as simple and easy to share and collaborate as Google Docs (which I consider the gold standard for simple cloud collaboration).
Also, they may hate me for this, but it's super cost-effective — we have a team of 5 CRM consultants and we use one personal $120/year Lucidchart license that we share between us 😅

What do you dislike about the product?
This may sound silly, but I sometimes wish I could toggle on a "Simple Version" that hides all the crazy complex settings and shapes and just gives me EXACTLY what I want. That's one thing I always liked about Adobe CS is that I could control the UX to only focus on the tools that I actually want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A tool like Lucidchart is 100% mandatory for CRM consulting (we use Zoho, very similar to Salesforce or Hubspot). We map out a client's business processes on big long pretty Lucidcharts and then build the system based off the flowchart.
We've gone from having super long docs to pretty, simple-to-read visual flowcharts.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a single beautiful template and use that sucker over and over and over and over.
Game-changing and versatile program that's easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
LucidChart is an innovative and instrumental tool to visually map out processes and communication flows, as well as collaborate virtually through idea boards. I love that it's easy to use and adaptable to so many purposes. Whether I'm mapping out complicated communication flows or collaborating with large groups, LucidChart has become my go-to tool. And every time introduce LucidChart to others, they're instantly interested in adapting the program for their projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I learn how to use LucidChart, I find some of the drawing tools to be a little clunky — but, on the whole, find most of the program very easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're currently using LucidChart for several projects including: designing new communication flows as part of our work onboarding a CRM; designing a parent communication strategy; mapping out a channel strategy and redesigning our approach to online learning web content.
Using LucidChart for our projects has enabled me to showcase project progress in a way that visually interesting and also easy to understand. I have several LucidChart documents I reference almost daily as it's become an key part of how I work.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend you give LucidChart a try, particularly if you're looking for a multi-functional tool to meet your organization's needs. As a communicator, I strongly encourage other communication leaders to consider using this tool for ideation and idea refinement, strategic design and mapping communication flows.
Great organization tool with many uses!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is super intuitive and easy to learn. There are a ton of templates that give you an idea of where to start, but there's also a ton of flexibility to create as you see fit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing isn't very flexible, and licenses have to be purchased in sets of 3 or 5. We also found ourselves having to merge two accounts and this was not possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Lucidchart to visualize our organization's structure and processes. Lucidchart has great tools for visualizing hierarchies, and we use that feature a lot. Most of our other uses have to do with flow diagrams that detail our processes.
Easy to use, amazing features
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity to create and modify documents, insert items, modify shapes & colors, connect arrows, add images, find any sort of free to use icons/logos etc...and a huge amount of templates that gives you ideas of what can be done.
It really allows you to exploit your creativity and create really cool documents!

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be super cool if timelines would update automatically with a calendar! :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we are not an high digitalize company we do a lot of stuff manually using whiteboards, paper notebooks, A3 charts etc...
Lucidchart is just like a giant digital blank notebook which is awesome....
We use it for almost everything
- daily task planning (kanban with post it)
- long term action plan (a sort fo GANT)
- med term activities ( we created a sort of Trello )
- sprint planning (time line + post its)
- organization design
- training program design
- meeting notes
...just everything really!

If you are used to work with other applications or programs, stay open minded to embrace the potential of Lucidchart.

One of the best tools out there for early stage companies
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is highly flexible, robust and intuitive. I use it for a wide range of things from project planning, to mentoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tasks are very repetitive. I'd like to be able to set more defaults which will save me time whenever I create a new document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem I'm solving is planning workflows and projects. A secondary benefit is using the tool to explain concepts with visuals.
