Smart City design made easier
What do you like best about the product?
The software is very versatile it the way it allows you and your team to interact. Real time updating help minimize mistakes saves time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Architecturing security systems for the Smart Cities Utilities has been improved. We can catch simple errors before they can ripple through the design process at a top level modular desisgn
Very Intuitive and Easy Flow Charting Program
What do you like best about the product?
New chart types available and useful and intuitive

Still main issue is the pricing. Not achievable for many people

Visualizing long processes to communicate more effectively between different departments like R&D and Operations. It's easy to show other people how something works.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to collborate with other collegues on process flow charts

I cant think of anything that is missing from the product. For what we use it for, it is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to clearly document a process and collaborate with other users is super helpful. This helps with productivity and collaboration which drives performance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In terms of recommendations, consider purchasing their team plan so you can collaborate and create company wide diagrams

What do you like best about the product?
It's such a great collaboration resource! I've used it virtually and in classes to increase working together, and utilizing technology to do so.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get distracted by everyone's cursors, or occasionally get dragged to someone else's work, instead of my own
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to collaborate from a distance. I can use "post it" notes and let others know what I'm thinking. I'm able to review the work that we did later, rather than having to take pictures and go back and find them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend this product for any collaborative efforts. I love the ease and the virtual aspect of Lucidspark to collaborate with coworkers and even other teachers across the state
Our standard tool for charts, flows, and mind mapping
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and robustness. One of the features that I've started to use most has been the pre-made templates, well thought out and ready to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Before using the Lucid products I was a yEd power user. I find the controls around linking, and some of the shortcuts are not what I'm used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use lucidspark for internal alignment and helping our clients map out ideas.
Excellent Workflow Database
What do you like best about the product?
I love the diagrams. I completed my DNP project for my three-year program at an accredited medical institution. I was able to create an entire program from scratch based on the workflow databases and diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to creating the workflow diagrams was the size of the graphs after they were completed. Whenever I switched the mode to PDF format, it made it very difficult for readers to review the diagrams; therefore, I had to utilize this as an electronic flowchart instead, which was more beneficial than the PDF format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems would be the PDF format & size of the graphs when printing them for final review. The benefits are the ability to create numerous amount of charts based on various work scenarios!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a system that allows you to create various forms of graphs and utilize creativity, then this is the program for you.
Better Than Expected
What do you like best about the product?
You can add multiple employees to org charts and move them around to different managers without shifting the entire report. You can adjust org chart fields
What do you dislike about the product?
When moving the shapes on the org chart, the format is automatic. The software does not allow you to adjust the display for the direct reports (to the right, left, bottom). This causes issues when trying to fit everything on one page. Scaling it during printing makes the font tiny.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily edit org charts without disturbing the layout. When edits are made, the date and time are automatically updated on the document. The different templates save time.
Virtual Whiteboard
What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE the visual nature of this product! If you could see my workspace, you would see all the post-it notes all over my monitors, scattered around my desk, sticking out of my notebook, stacked everywhere, on my walls, etc. Now that my company and team is remote, it is hard to not be in a room together with a whiteboard where you brainstorm and put post-it notes on the board and move them around. Having LucidSpark has helped me to organize my thoughts and has helped the team to understand what I'm thinking and has helped them to see the big picture and see how what they are working on fits into that picture and to see what everyone else is working on as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing the board has been a bit difficult. Also, the board seems to start loading slower when I have a lot of browser tabs open, but if I open it in a private browser it opens faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing my thoughts, re-arranging, mapping workflow. helping my team to see the big picture.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the collaborative editing, and the ability to have a single source of truth that can evolve over time for important concepts and plans.

What do you dislike about the product?
My main issue with lucidchart is solved by lucidspark - infinite canvas is a gamechanger!
Secondary issue is with license cost for low-use users (i.e. many charts but they don't necessarily contribute much content)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily issues where we need to collaborate on content but may need to do so in a combination of synchronous and asynchronous methods.
By allowing for change histories, voting mechanisms, and general chart flexibility, we can use Lucidchart for everything from retrospectives to strategic planning.

Planning and Processes made clear
What do you like best about the product?
I have loved how Lucidchart has made it possible to put our planning into images that are easily translated and understood. Plus the ability to collaborate all together or on our own on the same board has made a huge impact in our productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like it to be easier to collaborate with people who don't have a license - without having to use Lucidspark and then copy it over to Lucidchart to publish
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of collaboration with team members around the world - we are able to now be on the same page as a picture is worth a thousand words.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend for a team that can't sit in a boardroom together to plan and map out strategy.
