Excellent tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and logical organization . I use it to teach students principles of charting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little clunky when attempting to manipulate graphics when combining with text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it both as a teaching tool and as a means of creating graphical representation of both physical items and proce8.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gove it a try. The free version shows most of the tools. I've continued to like and use it.
Simple and Quick Diagrams and Mockups
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is very easy to use and makes it simple to quickly create detailed charts, wireframes, and mockups. They offer multiple ways to export whatever I create which makes it easier to send to other departments and employees in my organization. Sharing among other users is also very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike. Creating is simple and there are multiple options for exporting what you create as well. No downside!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart makes it easier to communicate with different departments. Whether it is creating a process flow diagram to better visually represent workflows, or creating mockups and wireframes using their UI elements, Lucidchart helps create the visual aspects to communication that make it easier.
Useful for teams, far better than file shares.
What do you like best about the product?
We can collaboratively work with teams to build out diagrams, even in real time. This is helpful for training new network engineers on how we approach diagraming. We have the ability to organize and store our diagrams according to functional work areas. We also utilize the Google Drive backups to help us with maintaining diagrams in secured repositories.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike. I would like to see multi-factor authentication implemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've had no issues. The biggest benefit is how easily our teams collaborate on diagrams in realtime.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Grids makes it easy to create diagrams in a great way
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes the lines auto connects to the new shapes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create diagrams for my company
Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I was looking for a tool that was flexible across multiple platforms and found it in Lucid Chart. It's intuitive and quick to use too, which meant I could dive straight in and get diagramming my ideas as, "a picture tells a thousand words".
What do you dislike about the product?
The file structure into which I store my work could be more attractive to use in order to see where I put things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complex system design for smart cities and grids. Noting conversations using concept networks. It's so quick I sometimes draw flow charts as a conversation is taking place - then it's very easy to edit them by rearranging the boxes.

Try it out
User Friendly Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I have enjoyed getting more familiar with this program. It doesn't take a lot of time to learn the basics. Quickly I can create and share professional looking charts and diagrams. It has great collaborative features as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's awesome that arrows are so accessible through the little dots on each image. Too often, I accidentally add arrows!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart has allowed us to make really helpful and easy to follow flowcharts that allow our team to be on the same page for tricky protocols.
Best flowchart software that we've used so far
What do you like best about the product?
The general use of the software is great compared to other flowchart softwares. The drag & drop features are very helpful as well. I'm also a fan of the templated starting point for building a project flowchart.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to "dislike" about this software. It does what it's supposed to do, and does it well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using LucidChart helps every project start off on the right foot, regardless of its size. The benefit is evident once we're past the planning part of our project and we don't have to look back from there.
Wonderful Product
What do you like best about the product?
It's flexible, intuitive and very useful for communicating complex architectures and ideas. The online tutorials/videos are also a wonderful resource.
Furthermore, I really love how easy it is to export and share your ideas with others: you can save PDFs, PNGs, create shareable links and more.
I'm sure there are other features that I would love, but I am learning on an 'as-needed' basis... :)

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be useful if we could have a larger UML library. I would also love to see (in the future) some prompts and or syntax validation for some of the various schemes (e.g. UML). Think of a "spell or grammar" checker for the diagrams -- wouldn't that be amazing!?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documentation of software architectures (of varying levels of detail), flow charts, lower level DBs dependencies and so forth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Never hurts to give it a try! You can use the free version, give it a test drive and impress your co-workers with what you have done.
Great Web-Based Software
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is easy to work with. Way easier than Visio. And the staff is easy to reach and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that I could edit the lucid charts directly from the Word document itself after I embed it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use lucid chart for work and I need to create flowcharts which is easy to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a Mac, its easier to use Lucidchart than to divide your hard drive just to be able to use Visio.
Organized but not so fluid, nor intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to export diagrams.
I like how I can organize the folders.
I saw an improve when exporting the diagrams to PDF, a couple of months the diagram didn't fit right away.

What do you dislike about the product?
That the are not many forms, shapes that I can use I know I can export them, but I prefer a library already set.
Improve your UX/UI, I'm pretty familiarizing myself with the tool, but I would like a better structure for the menu and dashboards.
Sometimes I find it hard to drag and drop the shapes, the click slips, the shape gets loose.
I don't know how WordPress stuff can help me.
Sometimes the share feature doesn't work, my users have trouble accessing even though I've already shared the folder or diagram.
I'd like to shorten the URL that I share.
Sometimes the tool doesn't find the user I want to share the folder or diagram, I have to type their email account.

Overview of our projects.
We do wireframes to show to our clients so they can approve our development.
We got rid of using Workbench for the Databases.
The interns within our company are able to apply their skills regarding project management.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
To implement lucidchart as part of their process, that will help to get out the most of the tool.
