Excellent application - makes creating process diagrams easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I love all the different ways that are available out of the box to create diagrams and all the shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that annoys me is that there are no arches added when arrows intersect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a tool to create diagrams without having to pay 600$ per year for Visio.

The flexibility and shareability is superb!

Fast and easy way to share concepts and ideas in various formats! Very versatile.
Lucidchart is incredibly user friendly and has great ability!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the user friendly aspect to the tool. It allows you to get rolling right when you gain access due to its easy ability to show the user where to find exactly what they need!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the ability to create a stronger presentation. It allows me to build out what I need, but in regards to making it all a presentation, there are limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
process flows, org charts, clear mapping. I realized that the tool is incredibly useful for when creating any diagram that has connecting parts.

Incredibly easy tool to use. Also allows for collaboration within projects!
Really solid tool to build userflows and charts as a product leader
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use to build flows and data mapping. As a Product Owner, this is one of my core essential tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Took a bit to get familiar with it when I started using it years ago, but spent a few hours and then it clicked and is now super easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building process maps, or charts and data flows. Also use to build wireframes as well, all of which I do as part of my job.
An essential tool for creative businesses
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use . . . my ability to start blasting my raw thoughts and start to give them some sense of order. You can be up and running on the interface in minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Oh my one complaint is that the developers changed the "sticky Note" function. I use this function a LOT LOT. It is hard to describe but the original sticky note let me scale the note dimensions as I wanted. NOW the sticky note keeps its proportion so even if I have a single sentence I am forced to keep the whole square. Pain in the ass . . . totally wrecks how I used it. I have to go back to legacy charts and copy paste them into a new chart. Developers . . . please please please shoot the guy who made the change and then put it back to the way it was like 8 months ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use lucidchart for all of my online course creation story boarding and lesson planning. I use it for sales funnel flow charts. I use it for tech diagrams. I use it for spit balling in meetings. I use it any time I want to see the relationship between ideas and the causal interactions of those ideas. LOVE this tool!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really, just plunk around in the interface for about 15 minutes and you will know what you need to know about functionality. Then buy a BIG monitor . . . it is really cool to see everything at once. Enjoy!
Lucidchart is always in my heart
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of the user interface
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really love how difficult it can be to line up objects on pages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart has been super awesome to create flowcharts for product troubleshooting. It's great for being able to lay everything out clearly and concisely.
Awesome way to do Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Lucid is that you can adapt each story to fit into the Lucid process
What do you dislike about the product?
A downside which really isn't a downside is that some managers have no clue what it is and what it can be used for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking to create and demonstrate workflow management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One thing that I have suggested while interviewing there and with meeting with managers is getting the word out there about Lucid's capability. I don't know if managers really are aware of what Lucid does.
A great program at a reasonable price
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Lucidchart is the many uses for the program. I work for a small business and I am able to make flowcharts for our required documents, use mindmapping to plan for large projects, create blueprints for events or additions to our warehouse, and much more. I originally opened the account just for making easy to use templates for flowcharts but I have been able to use it for so much more that I am more than pleased with our decision to go with Lucidchart.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any experiences in the past year that have made using Lucidchart difficult or aggravating. There is definitely a slight learning curve to using any new program and Lucidchart is no exceptiong but the help function is easy to access throughout the program. Additionally they send out very helpful articles to instruct you on how a template can be used to increase productivity. Lastly they have multiple templates to choose from so you do not have to start from scratch on most projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flowcharts have definitely been easier in Lucidchart than with other programs. Additionally I use Lucidchart for planning. We are working on a new facility and creating building layouts has helped my team think through the process and make sure we are accounting for everything as we plan.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great product, so I believe that not giving it a try is a disservice to anyone who spends any amount of time at a computer, planning for business, or just needs a space to layout their ideas.
Lucidchart makes sharing ideas and information easier
What do you like best about the product?
it is very user friendly and has great design in terms of making flow charts actually flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The library is at times difficult to navigate and confusing to find things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its main use is a tool to portray information. I often use it when showing information to other teams in cross-functional projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're in a position where you constantly ned to share information to people with lack of information, this is a great tool.
Very useful and easy to use tool

It has a significant variety of chart options to create, quite easy and intuitive to handle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some help is missing for specific functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can make diagrams for presentations at my work, to explain and describe processes, to solve training activities, to design promotional brochures, etc.

I recommend it, it is very practical, useful, and easy to use.
