Templates and Ease of Use
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart has simplified doing process flows and diagrams. You can get started pretty quick on your own, but I would recommend using the Feature Find, and going to a Connect Conference.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't dislike anything about Lucidchart at this time. It has easy to use and get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to create better process flows and timelines with Lucidchart. This has been helpful as I have been reviewing and working to improve processes in our department.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is ease to use and getting started.
Give it a try!
What do you like best about the product?
What’s so great about Lucidchart is that it helps to communicate the business flow process so easily. It really allows us to work in a much more collaborative way, and therefore ensures the product pipeline flows with ease and efficiency. From organisational and business charts to workflows and processes, I use Lucidchart daily, alongside software such as Atlassian, Slack and Google Drive. The integration element has proved particularly useful for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Beginners might find it hard to work with, but once you use it daily and get the hang of it it is pretty cool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart helps people produce work in a short time frame. I like the fact that it has templates you can import data into, and that it does so much work for you. The time you could spend writing out processes is reduced by half using Lucidchart.
Best online charting service out there
What do you like best about the product?
I've tried MS Visio on desktop and also Draw.io but I must say that Lucidchart, again and again, seems like the better product through and through. They regularly add features and chart types to the service and the team price is not huge and it's a really good tool to have on any occasion
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really. The price? It can always be cheaper, but again I think you get a lot for your money, so not even that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've done org charts, we've done flow charts for processes and projects, we've done small quick drawings to explain a point to a client; a lot of different things. It's super to have handy for any small task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you ever need to regularly explain something in images or charts rather than text, use it. If you have a technical background and need to explain a project/installation both simple and in-depth, use it.
Professional tool
What do you like best about the product?
the simplicity to use the App. Anything you want, you can find in lucinchart. As a Mac user is the only way that I can do my job. And for me is better than other tools like Visio.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have comments on this. For me is a good tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process diagrams, status review for projects. The people that I show my diagrams tell me how do I do this kind of so professional diagrams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Is a good tool, very intuitive and have too many figures and formats you can use in your studies or job...it is a great tool for daily use.......
Better than anything
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart rocks! easier to use than Visio, Cloud-based which means your work is always updated, Amazing responsiveness, huge library of assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't yet found anything that I dislike... Even the pricetag is accesible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our workflows for app creation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it!
A great tool for organizations
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is great, and since it's web based, sharing ideas couldn't be easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real complaints, though I would like it to be a little bit easier to customize the look of a chart. I recall that being easier in previous iterations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping class layouts for software, mapping the flow of a program. We've been able to map out our embedded devices navigation, as well as create hypothetical flows and analyze those, allowing us to improve our designs before ever starting to write code.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool. It's very useful for organizing thoughts, and the various shape libraries make it flexible enough to fulfill many different needs. Being a web based platform allows charts to be shared between members of the organization easily.
Easy to use, Users love it.
What do you like best about the product?
Easier to use, better features compared to Visio. Web based. No install needed. Cloud storage of documents created. Free access for single users, perfect for home/student use.
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues with the product. Haven't used support because its so easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wider group of users are able to use it without having to install a program. Monthly cost vs large single time cost. SSO login. Integrated with Jira/Atlassian and Okta. Easy to include a Chart in a story or bug to illustrate and document.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the trial, you will get a good feeling for how easy it is.
Flexible and convenient network diagrams and data flows
What do you like best about the product?
LucidChart provides an incredibly convenient and intuitive interface for diagram development. If you have any experience with Visio or similar tools, you will be very comfortable with LucidChart. In fact, LucidChart will be easier and quicker to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no significant complaints. The auto-save process took a little time to get accustomed to, but it has on more than one occasion saved me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product has provided a quick path for solving customer problems, specifically in the area of data flow diagramming for business processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the free trial and import some existing Visio content.
Good Diagraming Tool
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
Could use a bit more templates, however, "out of the box" there are quite a few supported and more are added over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to diagram workflows, ERD's and work through programming logic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a good tool, easy to use without a steep learning curve. I would recommend it for diagramming needs from simple to complex.

The UI is very intuitive and the tool very easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much - perhaps the inability to colour the swim-lane itself
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simply the ability to create easy to understand flow-charts and diagrams, allowing me to more easily explain processes to others
