Easy to understand and use
What do you like best about the product?
I've tried using half a dozen other products to help me map my processes but nothing has been as simple, intuitive, or easy to learn as Lucidchart.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart is very simple and basic. It lacks aesthetic design which makes it less appealing to others whom i've shared my charts with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work flow, process mapping, and procedural organization to minimize wasted time and effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a trial and see how easy and functional it is.
The most versatile and effective drawing software
What do you like best about the product?
I could draw ER diagrams, or research models, or process and variance models or pretty much anything easily on LucidChart.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is my most preferred software, nothing much to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use lucidchart for two major reasons. First is for my research papers for which I draw my models. Second, is for my teaching where I make my students use lucidchart to draw database entity relationship diagrams and functional dependency diagrams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While the diagrams on lucidchart look good, they seamlessly print well in word and pdf documents as well.
The ease and accessibility is uncanny.
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides of using lucid chart are mainly how user-friendly it is and how easy it is to create useful diagrams of important things.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many, if any, downsides in my opinion. The learning curve maybe at first but it is not bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart has allowed me to have a better grasp of the tech stack we use by diagramming it out and visualizing How our technologies interact.
One Stop Shop
What do you like best about the product?
I can everything from creating a product roadmap to process flow & tracking the project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Responsiveness/ Slowness is experienced sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use primarily for Roadmapping & process flowS.
Easy, simple and impeccable
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way the workflows can be diagramed in an easy way so you can deliver your tasks really fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a service interuption about a year ago. Thank God I had no meeting with my clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you have the mindset for processes, Lucidchart is the best tool to deliver value in no time.
Best Visual Design Application Ever
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, integrations, collaborative capabilities and most important the consistent update of tools available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Table design can be a bit iffy at times (not as intuitive as microsoft word). Also, should be easier to delete shared documents
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use for visual modelling in teaching to allow for better illustration of theoretical frameworks specifically in the area of enterprise risk management. Also for ideation and problem solving on new technology innovation.

Just get it...best software out there

What do you like best about the product?
All of the creature comforts you expect when making diagrams, charts, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "shape library" can be a bit confusing and overwhelming. To be fair I haven't sat down to learn it, but it isn't as intuitive as the rest of the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working remotely, my team would be dead in the water without whiteboards. LucidChart allows us to doodle, model, and update our diagrams accordingly and share them wherever we need.

The best thing about Lucidchart is the simplicity and the fact that they tell you what each of the flowchart shapes mean, which makes it easy for people like me who never had any formal training on creating flowcharts

I wish that the program had more standard web icons across industries for free use, but it's not a dealbreaker
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have worked for small and large companies, and each time I've used Lucidchart to ensure all stakeholders are on the same page for how processes work
Convenient and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart makes creating flow charts easier than other tools I've used in the past. It's also nice to make them pretty! :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes dragging is a little wonky, but manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my office, we are using Lucidchart to create documentation on existing processes that have never been documented. It's helping us with creating tools for new hires down the line.

Don't be afraid to get too creative

What do you like best about the product?
Drag and drop and easily create a flow chart in as little as an hour
What do you dislike about the product?
Swim lanes can't go vertically longer and text can be frustrating as it goes over the swimlane. I have to constantly resize the font to fit.
