Powerful Visualization Tools for Project Management

  • January 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a project manager, I really enjoy the visualization elements available on this platform. During brainstorming sessions with key stakeholders, we leverage the whiteboard feature to jot down notes and capture ideas in real time. When it comes to aligning key stakeholders, we use the tool to build convincing timelines that highlight key milestones and help everyone stay on the same page. We also frequently use the flowchart features to better understand the flow of information and the interconnectivity between teams. Overall, the tool enhances our ways of working and serves as a powerful way to communicate information that is often complex.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, our integrations let us down and don’t translate well into Confluence, which we use as our source of documentation. While we can work around this by exporting the visuals as PDF or PNG files, more seamless integrations would help us fully leverage this tool within our existing ways of working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid has been a game-changer for how we handle the "messy" phases of a project. We mainly use the live whiteboard for kickoff sessions with critical stakeholders, and it completely solves the problem of misaligned expectations. Instead of just talking through a deck, we build the vision together in real-time, which ensures everyone feels heard and stays on the same page from day one.

Essential for Remote Team Collaboration

  • January 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for its excellent collaboration features. It allows me to work with multiple team members in a live environment, making it easy to drop ideas and brainstorm together. Additionally, setting it up was super easy, like a zero out of 10 in terms of difficulty.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes for the login and sign in, other team members can find it confusing or difficult, especially as consultants where you use different emails and some things have permissions and some things don't. It'd be nice if it was clear what's private, what's public, what I can share, and what I can't, and who I need to send out what email to. So maybe just clarifications on roles and permissions whenever we're doing Lucidchart collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for planning architecture diagrams and presentations. It solves remote work challenges with whiteboarding, allowing brainstorming and visualizing data flows. Having a live space for collaboration with team members is excellent for communication and idea sharing.

Lucid’s Unified Ecosystem Makes Ideation-to-Architecture Seamless

  • January 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart (diagramming), Lucidspark (brainstorming), and Lucidscale (cloud architecture) feel like one ecosystem, not three bolted-on tools. You can ideate, refine, and formalize without switching mental gears.
What do you dislike about the product?
For larger teams or enterprise use, licensing can get expensive — especially if you want access to all components (Lucidchart, Lucidspark, Lucidscale). Some competitors offer similar features at lower price points.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teams often brainstorm in siloed tools (sticky notes, chat threads, sketches, docs), making it hard to gather raw ideas in one space.

How Lucid Solves It
Lucidspark provides an open, shared canvas where everyone can drop ideas, cluster, vote, and prioritize — all in real time.

Powerful Collaboration with Room for UI Improvement

  • January 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to collaborate, as it allows my team to give their input. I like its integration with Confluence because I can add my diagrams without needing to copy them over, and any changes I make to the Lucidchart diagram are automatically reflected in the document. I also value the ability to import certain formats, which lets me use advanced AI tools to create mock diagrams as scaffolding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find their UI to be lacking sometimes, and on the creation side there is too much clutter for me and is confusing. On the UI side it is confusing for me to navigate the browsing and home page, I'm not able to find the right page to be to find my docs correctly. And for the UI clutter, there are too many tools that are right there in one place with titles or 'i' icons for more info on what the tool does so I have to click on it and mess around to find which tool I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid makes it easy for me to add informative diagrams to my confluence Technical docs. It integrates nicely and any changes made to the Lucid Diagram is reflected on the confluence version that was added. This reduces the friction where I would have to otherwise screenshot and add images of the diagram.

I can collaborate with my team and together make changes while discussing business flows and making changes as discussions take place. This was a problem as we would be iterating over images and someone alone might me making changes later. With lucid we would numerous times be in calls discussing some architecture and that will be easily updates in the diagram and reflected in the docs it was used in.

All-in-One Workspace with Fun Team Collaboration Features

  • January 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's a true all-in-one space where I don't have to jump between apps to get things done. It’s also great for team vibes, the collaborator colors and reactions make it easy to follow who's doing what. Also free tier is quite generous.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial learning curve can feel a bit steep. There’s a lot to take in at first, and it can take some time to feel comfortable navigating everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, it just stops me from having to explain complex logic through messy Slack pings or docs. It’s been huge for my dev workflow because I can just map out a flowchart and share the live logic, which keeps everyone on the same page about how the code is actually supposed to work.

Easy Diagram Sharing, Needs More Cloud Component Updates

  • January 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for model diagrams to understand the product. It makes sharing model diagrams easy and helps document with the product team. I find Lucid Chart easy to use, and it also has multiple support options to import from other diagrams. The initial setup was very fast and direct, with no issues faced.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should have more AWS, GCP and OCI components added whenever vendors bring in new components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for model diagrams, making sharing and documenting with the product team easy.

Diaggraming made easy with Lucid

  • January 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that you can work in a collaborative mode. This is very helpful, especially when diagramming or brainstorming with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there are no x & y fields (like in Figma) to move shapes and elements with pixel precision.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me sketch easy-to-read diagrams of different types at a significantly faster pace. That helps me deliver a good quality product relatively fast.

Intuitive, Smooth Flow from Lucidspark Brainstorming to Lucidchart Diagrams

  • January 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s amazing how easy it is to go from brainstorming in Lucidspark to creating a diagram in Lucidchart in such an organized way. It’s definitely a very intuitive platform, and the overall flow feels smooth and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my experience, when I’m working with a large number of elements, the tool can start to feel a bit slow and occasionally laggy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual mapping streamlines my processes, cuts down meeting time, and speeds up decision-making. The way it supports alignment and integrates with my workflow makes it an indispensable tool.
