Pleasantly surprised with ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
After having used Microsoft's Vision as a solution for creating ERDs and struggling to figure out how to access all of the different widgets, Lucidspark's ERD creation widgets were incredibly easy to use. I was able to mock up an entire database, adding in the various relational connections, without ever having to consult the web for help using their product, loving it so far!
What do you dislike about the product?
All good so far, not a complaint to mention.

Our company uses Lucidspark for diagramming relational database structures.

Complete visualization and planning solution
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is much easier, faster, and more streamlined than Visio for planning diagrams and processes. It's much easier to share and work collaboratively on diagramming while still being able to put your head down and get ideas on paper.
What do you dislike about the product?
The loading times can be a bit long sometimes. Also the streamlined nature makes custom controls a bit more clunky to create but honestly we found there wasn't any reason to use custom controls because the templates solved all the problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to put together a swimlane diagram and a high level architecture diagram within a few hours that helped the team get on the same page in terms of what we were trying to accomplish and what it needed to look like.
Suggestions on improving Lucidchart and Lucidspark user experience
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy it is to collaborate with this tool. Great way to teach and learn. Exporting these docs for presnetations and ability to make changes on fly to the doc easy. It also adds next apge automaticcaly and you do not have to get interrupted from being creative. I found that it increases my productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty in formatting doc. Dosent highlight recent updates or edits to the doc by people collaborating. No Version controlling of the doc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What would be useful for me to keep track of the collaboraters, and highighting recent edits from the time I last visited the doc. Having version control so that I can go back to previous version if needed. Difficult to use the copy and paste feature to duplicate a specific section, I needed to select all the items and connection lines separately to make a perfect copy. Trying to select the section with the mouse would pickup the entire board where the chart section was.

What do you like best about the product?
I use it while video conferencing with clients. I share my screen and can show the site plans I am building for them in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grabbing and moving items isn't elegant.

Solving the problem of not having a good way of displaying site plans to clients while sharing my screen.

more options are always a plus, but that can be said of any app.

What do you like best about the product?
If you've ever been in a brainstorming session, you know that moment when all of the members of your group shout out their ideas at you and you scramble to note all of them on Post-It notes. Lucidspark is exactly the tool you want to have to capture everything!
It makes it easy to organize, categorize, park for the future, and to apply different templates to your brainstorming.
Changing shapes, colors and mapping out all the notes is as intuitive as it gets. And when you are done, you can seamlessly convert all of your notes and shapes into a meaningful flowchart in Lucidchart.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there is nothing I dislike. For the functions that anyone would expect, Lucidspark has it all, and more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing ideas throughout the workday or during virtual meetings typically ends up with a trash bin full of crumpled scrap paper or a bunch of ideas thrown into a zoom chat. With Lucidspark that doesn't happen anymore. The whole team can participate in a virtual brainstorming, or you can use it as a running shopping list for those outdoor BBQs.

Try it out and you will ask yourself how you ever got work done without it.

In the distributed team environment, it's imperative to be able to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
Simple to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The program has a low learning curve, it is very intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I am sharing a screen on zoom or google teams the program slows down. It is difficult to make changes in real time because there is a delay from when input a new shape or text. This has been very annoying.

This program takes the complexity out of diagraming in an easy-to-use UI.
