Disappointing Transition with Poor Support
What do you like best about the product?
It's a cheaper option and gets the basic things done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite feels really immature compared to the market, and the minimal cost savings are not worth it compared to Miro. The tool is a lot more clunky and less intuitive. The transition from Miro was difficult during the implementation migration, with many boards having issues like comments not available, pictures not pasting correctly, and rows and columns not formatted right. The professional services team was not great to work with and refused to help. Drawing relationships between sticky notes and configuring arrows is a lot clunkier in Lucid, unlike Miro which was more intuitive. The initial setup of Lucid was horrendous and not easy at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite does not solve my problems effectively. The tool is clunky, less intuitive than alternatives, and the migration experience was poor. It's not worth the minimal cost savings promised.

Easy to Navigate and User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The ai feature which create the default template, we can use any cloud service logos to create the perfect architecture diagrams. It has a lot of templates options to choose from.We can create agile or anytype of diagrams and flowcharts as well
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI looks bit classic and not eye catching for someone using it for first time. Although it is easy to navigate but yeah look and feel can be better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’re working on a GCP project, and creating the architecture diagram is straightforward because we can quickly find the right service logos. We’re able to draw both network and data architecture diagrams, share and present them to the client, and collaborate live with the team. This helps us stay aligned, avoid missing details, and keep the work moving without unnecessary delays.
Powerful Visualization with Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like all the built-in images and diagrams that make it easy to visualize what I need documented. I loved that the initial setup was very easy, and I could sign in with Microsoft.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the images could be updated or expanded, especially for floor plans. More granular controls for adjusting wall lengths would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for floor plans and technical diagrams, helping me visualize office layouts easily with built-in images and diagrams.
Straightforward Directions and a Great-Looking Final Product
What do you like best about the product?
I thought it was straightforward and the provided directions gave a good starting point. The finished product looked nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like the feature that automatically turned the arrow red/green if you put "no/yes" on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to create a flow-chart, to outline a simple process. It created an easy to use, clear, and professional flow-chart.
User-Friendly Yet Needs Better Printing Support
What do you like best about the product?
I found Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite incredibly user-friendly for our business. We used it to create our new accountability chart, and the process was seamless and effective. Its intuitive design made it easy to visualize and organize our team structure, which helped enhance our understanding of individual roles and responsibilities. It's also easy to use, and the initial setup was so easy. It helps us collaborate since we work in different offices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was hard to print the chart
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite makes it easy to visualize and organize our team structure, enhancing our understanding of roles. It also helps us collaborate effectively while working from different offices.
Effortless Schematic and Layout Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface the most, as it is super easy to drag and drop shapes, lines, and images. Lucid helps me solve issues by utilizing schematic layouts for test setups, saving them for future reference, and having clearly defined values and setups for yearly use for 100+ tests, along with lab layouts and seating charts. I can specifically choose engineering packages within Lucid like resistors and voltage networks with values, along with symmetric layouts. The initial setup was super easy, and I was able to jump into it right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that more ways to automate the creation, use, and sharing of drawings for more collaboration could be improved. Something like Smartsheet or Power Automate to email users with changes to schematics or seating arrangements. Automate email, log tracking, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps me by using schematic layouts for test setups, saving these for future reference, and maintaining clearly defined setups for 100+ tests, lab layouts, and seating charts. The drag-and-drop interface for shapes, lines, and images is super easy to use.
Intuitive Suite, Needs Tweaks for Seamless Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has several templates available—more than what I usually see in Miro. I find the interface really easy to understand, which makes it simple to use without constantly searching for features. The ability to copy and paste between platforms, like Miro, is something I really appreciate. I also like being able to integrate tables, like uploading an Excel document and working from it, which is pretty cool and useful especially for clients or people who aren't familiar with the platform. Additionally, I like the multiple different colored sticky notes; it's a small but unique feature that stands out to me because it's different from Miro, which has only a few color options. Overall, I don't have to search for things much—items like cards or frames are easily accessible and available.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issue with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is the snapping tool. It's a pain. Often the snap tool doesn't work, and the cursor isn't always updating properly. Sometimes arrows are created where I don't want them, or when I'm trying to create a different shape, my screen will freeze, and I'll have to refresh or even completely exit my browser, clear my cache, and restart Chrome. That's really frustrating. I've also noticed that if there's a lot of information on a board, it'll lag tremendously, getting really frustrating. Other collaborators' cursors aren't always up to date, which can be confusing. The connecting features aren't always very clear. Furthermore, the text within boxes or shapes isn't always centered, which can be really frustrating when trying to format text within another shape or box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite as an information hub, collecting and visualizing a lot of information in one space. It helps get quick ideas down, sketch visuals, facilitate conversations, and allows virtual collaboration and note-taking, transforming paper versions into digital formats.
Real-Time Collaboration That Turns Ideas into Clear Diagrams Fast
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is its real-time collaboration. Multiple stakeholders can work together simultaneously, share feedback instantly, and convert ideas into clear diagrams or flows, which significantly improves productivity and alignment.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Lucid is very powerful, performance can sometimes slow down when working on large or complex diagrams with many collaborators. The main downside is the pricing, especially for smaller teams. Some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which may not be ideal for all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solves the challenge of turning abstract ideas into clear visual representations that everyone on the team can understand. It helps us collaborate in real time, reduce miscommunication, and speed up alignment across cross-functional teams. As a result, we deliver projects more efficiently and with fewer misunderstandings.

It's particularly useful for students in software engineering, helping with system architecture, management flowcharts, mind maps, and brainstorming boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
price which there have limited things and if need more pricing is too much expecially for small team and students
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for workflow visualization, creating diagrams, system architecture flowcharts, and brainstorming. It's useful for students to manage ideas and real-time plugs.
