Nails basic ERD needs, but some assembly required
What do you like best about the product?
A good selection of templates, shapes, and intuitive UI makes it easy to jump in and start diagraming. Basic ERD and schema diagram creation is seamless with the starter templates. Collaboration and sharing with team members is also incredibly simple with the document sharing functionality. Custom templates are also incredibly useful for tailoring diagrams to my organization's needs and are great when combined with Lucidspark's provided templates. Exporting documents is also very easy with multiple options for file types and the ability to export specific sections of a diagram.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the custom templates feature is excellent, it can be challenging to customize certain templates to your specific needs. Applying spacing and styling changes to multiple elements is also not as intuitive as I'd like. Another small issue I noticed is arrows between shapes would not default to my last used style and instead picked a random change. It's not a dealbreaker, but was definitely noticeable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark has streamlined my process of creating database diagrams. ERDs, star schemas, concept models, and more are easy to make with the provided templates and the custom templates I've created. Lucidspark has also improved my collaborative process with team members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for general database diagram needs, especially among small teams that need to collaborate on diagrams. Some time and effort is definitely required to customize charts and templates to your organization's needs. Still, after that initial time investment, Lucidspark becomes a powerful tool for creating, editing, and sharing database diagrams.

What do you dislike about the product?
It was challenging at first to add users to teams and determine how each user could view documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart makes workflow sharing simpler. There is no need to find or worry that you have the most recent document version.
Lucidchart also makes it easier to collaborate with others across different organizations.

Great platform for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great product for anyone who is looking for collaboration with individuals or teams like peer-2-peer designing. I very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think of anything at this point to dislike about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was collaborating with the team to design a software feature (DFDs, HLDs). It has tons of predefined options to choose from to start quickly.
Awesome and very helpful

Expands the mind
What do you like best about the product?
The tools that you use to share your thinking with the world, shape your thinking. Word, PPT, Canva...a flipchart...they're all pretty similar with the idea of a page as a finite space. Lucidspark is great at letting you expand beyond a page and is great for those managing projects, workflow or relationships that don't have neat chapters and when interdependency is a key part of what you want to communicate. It's also 'neutral'...it's not pretty, it focuses on cause and effect and relation and so it's a good tool to clarify thinking. It's easily editable by others so it's really helpful to help check thinking, or to summarise complex processes and check these. It's a great tool for a consultant in that regard.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX could be 'sexier' and none of the templates seem to ever quite fit my purpose - but over time you just re-use and re-purpose your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thinking through complex projects with interdependencies, especially data flows, where start and end points can usefully be ever expanded. Checking thinking with other departments and teams. Providing documentation of core processes and relationships, stakeholders, roles and responsibilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think if you're a consultant, or work with workflow then its uses are pretty immediately clear and it becomes difficult to go back to the limits of a page and to PPT especially. It's not a project management tool but it's a great communication aid for project managers in the early scoping stages and also in working with stakeholders and getting everyone's information to look the same way and be linked together.

What do you dislike about the product?
The selection of any article opens a new tab, and I was kind of searching for a way to go back (to the folder structure tab) in the newly opened tab without realizing that the folder structure tab is still open in a different tab.

What do you like best about the product?
the ease of being able to colaborate with colleagues real time, and being able to chat on the app itself as well. the amount of icons and details we can use to create visual data that is understood by our other colleagues is just to handy and useful. I quickly was able to pickup this tool on day one without even any sort of training or tutorial on how to use this too. It was this easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
once the sheet becomes full and packed with information and data it becomes very slow and almost unusable sometimes. This became appearent when starting to use a lot of data in one sheet which even sometimes could result in browser crashes unfortunately. As a result of this we had to think of a solution by making our sheets lighter and less packed which was kind of a hassle even though now it seems to work as it should have from the get go. If this issue gets resolved I can recommend this tool fully to anyone looking to use this kind of tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keeping the sheet lighter in order to keep it performant enough and not keeping a lot of tabs of Ludispark open to prevent the browser from crashing or closing. this had to be communicated within the entire organisation since a lot of collaborators are using this tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
really can recommend using this website as long as you keep the sheets quite light and not too packed to stay as performant as it should be. This offers real time collaboration with collegues which makes your work even more productive than ever and make you able to be as creative as you can . the ease of use really makes this an awesome tool to use even without prior knowledge on how to use this kind of tool.
Review
What do you like best about the product?
It's good to use, specially flowchart creation. Given the live whiteboard functionality, it is very useful for the teams to work on the same project and make changes. I appreciate this new feature. I like the way its Ui works and its best is the drag and drop thing which makes work easy and consumes less time. Thus making Lucidspark more comfortable than rivials and thus I like using it over draw.io and other similar applications in the same market place. Kudos to the creators of Lucidspark and their team for creating wonderful UI and flowcharts. Kudos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such. Everything works fine and perfectly. Maybe I would like to have a demo flowchart from where people can choose to start and then add new diagrams as per the needs. Also, I wouldn't say I like that there is no option to zoom the chart while exporting the chart, which makes big chart unreadable and thus have to make big charts break into small charts and that would increase the task and consume more time. It think should be addressed immediately as this will save more time and make work more easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am looking to solve Business flow chart problems through lurid spark. I appreciate it's inbuilt flow chart diagrams with titles that help newbies to pick the correct diagram. I used this software to make flowcharts for my clients and they really like the flwcharts and especially the texts appearing on the sides to explain the flow charts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would like to advise other users to use lucid charts for all their flowchart-related tasks as it provides a lucid whiteboard where in all the users of your organizations can use the whiteboard and perform the same. Also, I recommend users to have the premium version of lurid spark because it's far better then the free version and has many good paid features will definitely help improve the efficiency of the team, and the client will be happy with the flowcharts shown to them. Thus I recommend everyone to use lucidspark over any other drwaing platform as this is the best platform for drawing flow charts and handling few other diagram related programs. All the very best to rest of the users who are going to use it. Make sure yu make the best out of it as it is the best software available in the market.
