Great tool for visualisation and planning

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a visual person, Lucid helps me visualize thoughts and process flows. It's been really easy sharing this information and helping others to be on the same page as well. The Google Drive integration is excellent as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now, perhaps I haven't fully explored all the features yet, but it works great for what I need it for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to crystallize my thoughts better and present workflow and ideas that are easily understood by all. Especially useful in the context of remote working and brainstorming in a virtual context.

Working with Lucidchart is much easier than any other software I've tried building network diagrams

  • April 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of collaboration and quickly sharing access to a team where we can all work in parallel in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it challenging to be as accurate as I would like to be when it comes to drawing network connections, as it seems necessary sometimes to spend a little extra time to get things positioned just right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can quickly build a network topology in real-time as a whiteboard session and show a clear depiction of the ideas being discussed. I also use Lucidchart all the time to create high-quality deliverables for customers I'm work with.

Amazing product planning tool

  • April 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's an amazing visualization tool, we're able to map out product plans and coordinate with engineering, product, and other internal teams and show them exactly what we're describing. It's also valuable to the building of documentation, system designs, and structures that are able to be clearly detailed. It's also a great collaboration tool, anyone that's invited to a project can work in real-time.
Integrations with sprint planning tools like Jira let us also connect certain Lucid Spark boards with tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's got a little bit of a learning curve, but really once you learn all the features you're good to go. Perhaps suggestions within the site or directions for certain tools or even quick GIFs would assist in figuring out how things work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were lacking ways to collaborate and visualize both engineering and product-level requirements. We have issues with lack of documentation and this provides us with the ability to make clear mind maps that can be worked on by anyone that's invited and the board is updated in real-time.
We hope to be able to use this tool to construct workflows and implement processes that can be read and understood by anyone. Look for gaps in existing designs. By having a tool like this that will allow collaboration we should hopefully be able to invite more teams into certain discussions earlier on.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to virtually plan, brainstorm, and design on the same screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any blockers so far. The tool is very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently solving problems related to the company's strategic plans. The benefits of being able to virtually plan as a team, the ability to return to the charts for review and updating, and the icons and graphics available are all useful to my department (innovation).

Decent Offering but Could Be Better

  • April 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to both comment and resolve comments the most. Additionally, gathering elements by tags, color, reaction, or object helps when sorting. I believe dot voting is a newer addition, but it's also beneficial and on par with competitors. It's affordable. Spark is easy to pick up, but if you do have trouble they also offer training for your team. One final thing I like is that it's straightforward to bring Lucidchart documents into your sparkboard, which makes staying on track with premade workflows very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Spark is currently lacking in diverse templates, making it harder to convince purchasing managers to invest in it for entire teams compared to other platforms. Spark also lacks integration which I believe they are working on, but they may integrate with your current software at present. Unfortunately, I think Spark initially released their product with too few features making it hard to make a case for picking them over their competitors who were already in the market for a similar price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made remote ideation sessions very easy to facilitate, which meant that team members could spend time where it matters most. Team members also felt that their ideas were both seen and heard, and the opportunity for team voting helped them feel that they weren't being dismissed out of hand. Lucidspark fostered increased trust in the direction we chose to move our products in at any given moment.
