A Novice Lucid User with an Education Background
What do you like best about the product?
Colleagues can be working at the same time, it's user friendly, the images are easy to read and follow, there are a ton of options
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot to learn and there isn't an AI feature yet that allows you to find quick solutions for what you are trying to make- that would be amazing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives our team a way to brainstorm visually with quickly-created diagrams that everyone can contribute to. It also allows me to break down complex concepts and processes for our school clients to give them an easy-to-read and easy-to-follow road map when using different features of our program.
Network diagrams made easy
What do you like best about the product?
As a network engineer, creating network diagrams in Lucid is easier than before. Imports and exports from other software works great.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have only had one issue with a PNG export so far but support was very quick to act upon a fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's simple to line up and create diagrams with connecting branches. Our imports from a 3rd party software work great so we can edit the network diagrams further.
Integration with other software
What do you like best about the product?
The way we create the diagrams and flow and Maps is really good. I'm new to the platform but I'm not faced any hardness on this platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried to integration with PowerBI. To create Visual Stream Map I tried but I'm not able to do it. My suggestion is to do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As of now, I'm not looking into it.
Great Software
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to quickly update or change a flowchart, VSM, MIFC, etc. is a huge plus. It makes it so much faster and easier to put everything together
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the mobile app was a little more stable. I use an IPad Pro and sometimes when I'm trying to select a new tool or shape, it will start panning my screen, and then I have to move it back over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessibility to process understanding at a high level
A well-made application.
What do you like best about the product?
Strong collaborative app which is cloud based and easy to access and present ideas to others. Its easy to navigate and generally well organised with some good templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if the web-based app had an offline version to it so I could update pieces whilst on my laptop/iPad is not connected online.
Alternatively the large Youtube library could be embedded into the app better to save us splitting screens etc,

Visualise processes, highlight inefficiencies and collaborate on pages with multiple others.
Great tool to visualise a Database
What do you like best about the product?
For me it's the ease of use of the tool and also how dynamic it is. It serves multiple purposes and allows you to create a visual map of things that are harder to articulate with words. I first started using it for the ERDs - I had started a new role at Joe Browns and needed a visual to help me and other colleagues understand how tables are linked in the database
What do you dislike about the product?
The only slight dislike is it can be a bit fiddly in terms of formatting things as you want them but that's me being critical
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a visual explanation to a common business question or problem. For example I've built a flow chart to help me better visual to my colleagues how we define a customer internally as there are a lot of rules that make explaining this through words more difficult

What do you dislike about the product?
Some points that I find as a hinderence when I am using Lucid Chart for personal use -
1. Only 3 diagrams are allowed (which is fine, I can work with it, most tools provide limit of 3 diagrams)
2. Bigger challenge is that only 60 shapes are allowed in one diagram. This is the most important thing that keeps me from using lucid chart for personal use out of office

2. It solves the issue of easy collaboration where I and my colleagues can edit the diagram

Best Visual Collaboration App
What do you like best about the product?
The platform offers a seamless user experience, facilitating easy creation, sharing, and collaboration with my team. It integrates seamlessly with other applications such as Confluence, simplifying the creation and maintenance of documentation. The user-friendly editing tools, along with their comprehensive features and intuitive interface, enhance productivity. Additionally, the comprehensive documentation and user manual provide valuable guidance. This platform has significantly contributed to my team’s efficiency, reducing the time and effort required to maintain various documentation and solution design documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
The conversion tools for documents from our old application require enhancement, as they occasionally fail to replicate the documents accurately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Lucid Suite facilitates the management of documents by establishing connections between diagrams and various documents. Consequently, time is saved by simply updating the linked diagram for all documents that utilize it.
Lucid For Consultant
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed using Lucid as some of the in-built templates are quite similar/close to the actual process i want to design. Also, it's quite straight forward to make modifications to existing template to match your process. This ability to quickly make this modification to existing template and ability to save it as one make is more easier for reuse. Also, the ability to track version of design makes so much sense as i could easily revert to a specific version.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much in terms of downside from me. Although i'm currently using a free trial so maybe access to more features for Trial users like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helps with getting pictorial messages across to stakeholders most especially with Processes, be it technical design or workflow for simplicity to users.
