Create clean and attractive diagrams in minutes.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is so easy to use with it's premade drag and drop templates. I can easily collaborate with my coworkers where they can update shared diagrams on their end without needing to update it through email comments or other notes. Having it be a browser-based client makes it much easier too since I can just send a link to a client or coworker instead of needing them to download an application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The costs are a little steep for what you're getting. Granted it's saved us a lot of time and effort making diagrams through other applications, but I still think it could be priced lower.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can create flow charts and diagrams easily. Makes all of our presentations for clients clean and professional looking without much effort.

Make flowcharts online

What do you like best about the product?
The templates available in Lucidchart are very useful. Every time I want to make a flowchart, I turn to templates because it is easier for me to start like this, than from scratch. Lucidchart has a large catalog of templates so I always find one that fits my project or idea.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have never had problems with Lucidchart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flowcharts help us express complex processes and facilitate their understanding. Using Lucidchart we can make flowcharts online, share them and collaborate with our team thanks to their integration with Microsoft Teams.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use being able to create detailed network diagrams. Being able to share documents with appropriate access rights both internal and external.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more built in stencils related to networking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to share charts and diagrams across different levels of the organization.

Fully Featured, Stable, Reliable, and Versatile

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it runs so well in the browser and across multiple browsers. I know that I can open it anywhere and use it. They have certainly thought the app through in detail, there are so many configuration options and pre-built components for building charts that I'm always able to get what I want. I have built some massive flow charts and the performance holds strong always. There are many small touches that automate micro-interactions and save you dozens of clicks while building even small diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I want to share a live chart with someone who is only going to view it, they need to sign up to view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used Lucidchart to map out logistics flows for supply chains, website maps, app user flows, and database entity relationship diagrams.

Amazing and versatile whether you are a dev, business or an architect.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that you have a browser solution without having to sacrifice or compromise on anything a professional may need. One can access and use it from anywhere that is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to miss the fact that there was no offline options or if there was a power failure I would lose hours of work. Given that has been taken care of there is nothing critical I dislike. Sometimes based on the complexity and layers in a graph it may be difficult to select and handle the item you want but that is a minor nuisance.
Some times, specially when one is new to the service, it is not as straight forward to know how many or which kinds of specialized chart types are supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to diagram and communicate my vision for the products our company offers. Systems and how they connect, domains and how they overlap and relate to one another for instance. I have realized graphs can really get the idea across and save time explaining or misunderstandings. More importantly my peers are starting to use graphs and charts more as they see the advantages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really explore all the chart types supported, I ended up trying to make up a specific type of chart with basic components just to discover after hours that kind of chart was supported already and in a much better way than my ad-hoc approach.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of it all, being able to access my documents wherever and the flexibility to do several things on the same software, from wireframes to process mapping
What do you dislike about the product?
When a document is very large and has several objects, it lags a lot
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need for a process diagramming tool and a mockup tool at the same time, all that whilst keeping look and feel flexibility
Recommendations to others considering the product:

Lucidchart FTW

  • November 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Well thought out, practical templates. I have gotten some great presentation ideas for complex communications by using a combination of the templates provided in the app.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a bit of a learning curve coming from another product, but maybe a few more tutorials would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with a group that learns quickly from visualization so rolling out a new process or just doing simply root cause analysis using Lucidchart is great.

Excellent Visual Tool

  • November 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of collaboration while using Lucidchart has proven itself time and time again. It is easy to share a chart within a team and across departments. Live editing for multiple users is also a huge plus. Integration with Microsoft Teams has increased collaboration as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart is still in it's early stages of maturity when it comes to combining data with visual components. Further development of their dynamic shapes and charting is still anticipated. Further development of their shape data fields (including formulas) and data linking management is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Although Lucidchart's shape data fields need further development, they have been quite valuable in quantifying process metrics and data while diagramming process flows. Lucidchart has the potential to combine quantitative process data with the visual impact of a process map.

Great Platform for Process Mapping and Charting Work Flows

  • November 25, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy-to-use functionalities of Lucidchart, especially the templates that make it easy to modify and customize for your own processes. The object library is very expansive and you can easily find whatever shape you need to display your diagram. It is also very easy to share with colleagues who are not actively using the system, with access to download charts as a .pdf file.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only individuals who have Lucidchart accounts are able to access diagrams or files that are created within the platform, which makes it difficult for other non-users to work on the projects. This issue can be resolved by having colleagues create a free account, but it's one extra step that could hinder productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating workflows and clear processes for different projects (i.e. grants administration process and organizational work chart) at work is so easy using this product!
