Great overall user experience. That's what really matters
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart provides our company an incredible and easy to use online user interface that allows us to manage, create and edit all of our technical diagrams. Within our company we did a comparison between multiple online and offline tools, Lucidchart topped our charts. For us, it offers best of both online and offline worlds: easy of use (shortcuts!), no individual installation/setup, centralised (user) management and compabitility with existing offline tools (MS Visio). In the end, what really matters is the overall experience that Lucidchart provides for everybody that is involved in our organisation: delivering an excellent user interface, basic and advanced chart-features, low cost of maintenance, ...
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with some other (online) tools within our organisation could be improved. The Atlassian Confluence plugin does the job, however the installation and setup could be improved, as well as the feature set and quality of this integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Above all we are trying to provide a solution to our employees that allows them to create diagrams more often. We are convinced that a tool that is easy to use, will result in the creation of more and better diagrams, which are incorporated within our Request For Proposals, Technical documentation, User manuals,...
Next to this, we are working on standardisation of the diagrams that we create within our organisation, building a set reusable stencils and diagrams. Lucidchart allows us to centralise all of our diagrams/stencils and in the end speed our internal processes and improve the quality documents we create.

A tool that assists my business in so many ways
What do you like best about the product?
You can train a newbie on how to use this product in under five minutes yet they can spend the rest of their lives finding new things to do with it.
I work with new people, partners and clients regularly and I'm always putting them onto Lucid Chart. When they realize how easy it is to collaborate and share they fall in love with the product too.
The search feature to find new icons, images, etc. is amazing. Type any word(s) you like and find the perfect icon or picture to use.
You can export as a web page and send a URL to the client who can then tab through the different diagrams. It blows them away that you've built a web page for them when all you've really done is hit publish.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything although the most common complaint I get from others is when they've positioned the mouse incorrectly and get an unwanted results. Excessive caffeine can cause your hands to shake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work predominantly in technology and business processes so a lot of swim lane usage and how data flows from one system to another.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's got a free trial so just try it. Do the tutorial and see the samples others have done. You won't be wasting your time.

What do you like best about the product?
Various image assets. I also like that this syncs w/Google images and photos automatically upload.
What do you dislike about the product?
The basic interface is not appealing. If we could update the color scheme of the login screen or customize it that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating flow charts for escalations. I also enjoy the presentation view.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is brain dead simple to use.

There really isn't anything I don't like about the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart makes it easy to communicate complicated marketing campaign processes. These process documents also provide an excellent history of how something was done.
I have used this to flowchart multiple processes in our business. It is quick and not clunky.

That I can quickly drop in pre-made shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes changing the curve of an arrow glitches and you have to close and reopen before you can change the curve of another arrow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this mainly to show understanding to those in development of the product but also those who are not in development of the product. So it is a great way to simplify the process so that anyone can understand what's happening.

Lucid Charts - Simple and Intuitive.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Seriously - it is almost fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind, however I am primarily using this for flowcharts only so that is all I can really comment on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Relying on Lucid Charts to create intuitive and illustrative workflows and decision trees for more effective procedure drafting.

Just try it, with the abundance of clunky software out there something this intuitive is refreshing.
Great tool for visualization and communication while working with diverse learners
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is easy to learn while remaining robust for avid users. It's elegant, but comprehensive. There's a great balance of functionality with usability that makes it easy to share, use, and recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't have any dislikes. As an educational account holder, I have access to all tha tI need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a diverse team that learns in completely different styles. Everyone needs to take in information in their own way, but we all need to work as a team to deploy concepts and implement our ideas. Our area has "Innovation" in the title, so this is a requirement. Lucidchart has absolutely helped me get my own points across and helps my teammates who have never had to articulate their business processes get better at articulating and demonstrating their ideas in a shareable fashion.
Flexible and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to create and manipulate diagrams. The range of shape libraries provides good flexibility and allows for creating a variety of diagrams. It is easy to modify most of the diagram elements to customize a design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing of documents is sometimes less than straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Lucidchart for designing database schemas, diagramming workflows, sketching user interfaces, and creating general illustrations of geographic concepts. It is great to be able to do all of these things in one place and with a single, easy-to-use interface.
Easy and effective
What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucidchart easy to upload pictures to their existing database. Adding items, moving, editing and renaming all simple and offers everything we need to make diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used the free version and the 5 chart limit is the only feature I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating charts that service can use and customers understand. We have reduced mistakes on both ends.
