Perfect for mapping customer journeys
What do you like best about the product?
LucidChart has been a major improvement to our company & sales structure. Mapping customer journeys with every touchpoint is essential to continue on improving your (sales) process. LucidChart has this right!
What do you dislike about the product?
LucidChart has a learning curve. It takes some time to get the hang of it & pick up speed in creating diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to display a chart easily through an iFrame has saved us quite some time, with it being accessible for all employees within our organisation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take your time to explore all possible shapes & flows. It makes it really easy to visualise whatever process you're describing.

we want to get a flow chart of a survey, and show that to people without any background in the related field. The output was easy to share and easy for them to understand

I hope they can make things flexible, allow some kind of coding in it
Lucid Chart for executives
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid chart is simple and to the point when you can finally figure it out. The help videos are helpful for an otherwise annoying project.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes FOREVER to get a chart together. When you move one thing it throws everything off. Its really really annoying and not that intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating visuals for plays, team growth, journeys, etc.

Be patient.

What do you like best about the product?
Pretty easy to use and easy to learn. I could enjoy of this tool is the variety of types of diagrams which anyone can easily just select and start using in a matter of seconds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't share flowcharts with non-Lucid users. I would like to share with them as view only, rather than always having to save as a PDF.

Visual interpretation of process models

Flow diagrams provides a visual treat for software development cycles and methodologies

If the flow chart goes a big in size then scrolling and editing is bit clumsy(haven't used in the recent time)

Solid Product, Very Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid Chart focused on a solid tool. Having used similar tools in their industry, many have too much going on and often get buggy. Lucid is always a solid load, easy to export, share etc. It's a well made product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more icon sets more for my industry, less IT-hardware specific. I'm often times visualizing how an ecommerce-related page would look, and a few modern website oriented icons would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly and easily diagram something, often times for a pitch or proposal.
It's very easy to use and advanced when you need it
What do you like best about the product?
The freemium features enable me to produce a few graphs every now. I like the page formatting and sizing feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of is that I experienced some difficulty saving a file into Drive and opening it, but it isnt a showstopper.

Excellent shapes library & image import abilities for unavailable shapes, logos, etc.

A solid alternative to Visio diagramming on a web-based tool. In the future, I would like to use Lucidchart across the team for better real-time collaboration on diagrams.

The quick templates to best fit most common needs make the bones quick to build off of.
What do you dislike about the product?
They could have more options when it comes to drawing, outside of the given shapes and lines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When trying to make dynamic flow charts in a microsoft suite , it can get out of hand with adding separate shapes and lines. This makes it easy and scalable for multiple departments.
