Lucid Makes Workflow Visualization Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid generates the cleanest workflow visuals of any tool I've tried. Its AI functionality make this easier than ever to bring to life as well. Our team is able to align on clean process using Lucid better than ever in the AI age
What do you dislike about the product?
It may be more of a hit on flowcharts, but updating fine details can be finicky and tedious sometimes. But getting the first 90% of your work visualized is super easy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Articulating complex and multi-stepped processes for our support staff into clean step-by-step guides. Lucid helps hold new hires' hands as they take on new challenges and ramp into our organization. We also use Lucid to map customer journeys so we understand what customers experience working with our services
Easy Visio Import to Lucid App
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to import my Visio to the Lucid app online very easily; plus it's online so i can access it from anywhere, not just my main computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where I might be moving a line and it moves the text/line label instead of moving the line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Visio for the longest time and now that Microsoft has Visio in the browser, it's easier as a whole but my company uses Lucid so I imported my Visio to it and it didn't take me long to get to figure where different things were, regarding bringing to the front/back, etc.
Because its through Lucid, I don't have to keep logging back in to the browser when i want to go work on it, like I do with Microsoft.
I have not tried sharing with team members so I can't comment on that.

Great Customization, but Limited Free Features and AI Issues
What do you like best about the product?
How everything is around, and the ability to create custom sheets as well as use already built ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of free features is somewhat restrictive, especially for students who just want to complete an assignment, as the AI feature can be somewhat problematic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me conceptualize ideas as well as put them in an easy way everyone could understand,s aving me a lot of time creating mind maps really.
Familiar Visual Format but Overwhelming Templates and Confusing Tools
What do you like best about the product?
It's similar to other visual formats like Miro that I've used before
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many template options, I didn't even know what to pick. I just wanted to make a simple flow chart and while trying to make it the tool were very confusing and the format was not aligning how I wanted it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I just need a better way to visual data or decision matrix compared to other tools I would use like powerpoint. It's better than powerpoint, but almost too hard of a learning curve to learn.
Solid for impressive chart ready in no time
What do you like best about the product?
Creating customized project diagrams with its straightforward design capabilities. It is extremely efficient at that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have a dislike for this product they are a leader in diagram and chart creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is where I put ideas as diagrams and create flowcharts for our grant proposals.
I really like this platform and would like to see future improvements.
What do you like best about the product?
The main reason I use it is that it’s completely online, and everything saves instantly, so you never lose a drawing or chart. This online feature also makes working with friends easy because everyone can jump into the same document at once. Plus, the main reason is the free account; it provides all the core tools you need to get started and fully test the system with no time limit. This way, you can get used to it before paying for an upgrade.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried using this platform to create a home floor plan, and that's where I ran into major problems. It's very hard to make things the right size, especially when trying to scale items like a bathtub or bed to human size on the grid. The program really needs basic objects that are already the correct, human size that you can just drop in. Another big issue is drawing precise lengths; if you need a 10-foot line, you have to guess and estimate how many grid boxes that is, converting the measurements in your head. This lack of accurate, easy-to-use measurement tools makes the app difficult to use for any detailed floor plan or building project.

It's great because it gives me a place to brainstorm and draft ideas.
Perfect for Automated Org Charts—Exactly What I Needed
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can create an automated company org chart which is exactly what I was looking for

So far nothing, I have nothing that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I initially created a company org chart via Canva but found that it is not very functional/practical. In my search for a better solution, Lucid was highly recommended for it's functionality and ease of use. Love that I can make the org chart automated as we frequently have employees that change roles/manager so this feature will help to keep it current
Great Customization Options to create block diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to customize my diagrams by adding text, shapes, images, and other elements as well as customizing colors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although this software is excellent, a new user needs some time to find a way around the menus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can have multiple maps in one document and easily input updated project data in flowcharts to present in meetings.
Enhances Workflow with Useful Templates
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy it is to share and collaborate using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. The swim lanes and templates save me a lot of time, which is incredibly valuable. The integration with tools like Jira makes it handy to access diagrams directly from tickets, enhancing efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that sometimes sharing diagrams using the URL takes quite a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the product to create graphs for high-level solution architecture design, making it easy to share with team members and customers, enhancing collaboration and readability.
Good Platform with Easy Use, but Lacks Some Features
What do you like best about the product?
It have a good them and platform. Generally easy to use but there's limitation on some of the feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are not yet available. Unable to properly select my own url to test in "try it"

API documentation that is user friendly.
