Snappy and Efficient, Yet Needs Better Scaling Features

  • October 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the software's responsiveness and snappiness. It's straightforward to set up, allowing me to add content quickly without having to worry about lag, even with high content volume. The visual aesthetics are impressive, and I find the colour format vibrant. The ability to change text within Post-it notes and sections is very convenient. I particularly enjoy the efficiency it brings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the way text scaling works in Lucid problematic. When I select and resize a group of shapes or Post-it notes, the text does not scale with the shapes. This often results in text hanging outside the shape, which is difficult to solve for without scaling the rest of the board to be bigger. This contrasts with Miro, where text scales appropriately even when resizing elements below the minimum text size. It becomes a headache to manage and adjust each time I resize shapes in Lucid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the product to handle large volumes of content smoothly without lag, ensuring quick and efficient design planning and collaboration.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main challenge that Lucid addresses is planning, helping to ensure that everyone’s thoughts are aligned. Using Lucid has worked out really well for us.

Lucid Visualization Suite: Powerful Layering and Interactive Visuals

  • October 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using the Lucid Visualization Collaboration Suite. Its distinctive layering features make it much simpler to organize and present complex visuals. I also value its support for various image formats and the ability to link to other pages, which together make it a strong choice for building interactive and interconnected visual projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the Lucid Visualization Collaboration Suite offers useful features such as multi-image support and the ability to link between pages, I found the layer management aspect to be quite frustrating. When I try to create a new layer, the application duplicates the selected items rather than just moving them, which leads to unnecessary clutter and additional steps. If this behavior were improved, the layering feature would feel much more streamlined and intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently using the Lucid Visualization Collaboration Suite to create a sitemap for a large product developed by my team.

Great for Real-Time Collaboration, but Can Lag with Simultaneous Edits

  • October 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to collaborate with my teammates on group projects, allowing us all to work together at the same time. It allows us to see changes in real time, and is especially good for when we work remotely from different environments, because it gives us a similar collaboration style as if we were physically together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, changes can lag. Often times, if someone else is typing or actively making a change, you can't tell exactly what change is being made until the other person is done editing/fully making the edit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us create business process models, context diagrams, data flow diagrams, etc. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has lots of features and shapes to choose from, so I like that I can personalize a diagram to fit the exact situation I need it for.

Lucid as a brianstorming and organization tool

  • October 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the features where I can organize my diagrams into projects, and I can easily work with others or share while I create within the tool. I like the pre-created icons from cloud tools
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes struggle to find the right icon sets for the tools I am using, or import those icons. I also struggle with the data connection tools, and pre-defined templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helpful in thinking through processes. It is also helpful when connecting dependent work to one another. It looks professional and clean.
