Easy Setup, Effective Phishing Training
What do you like best about the product?
I like KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for its ease of use and setup. It's practical for our team because it doesn't take a lot of time to manage. I also appreciate the modules that make it easy to set up quarterly testing, which helps keep security in front of our staff rather than being a one-time thing. It provides us with good insight into who may need extra training, allowing us to focus our efforts where it matters most. The initial setup was extremely easy; it didn't take us much time to get our users from Active Directory inputted or to get the modules added and set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the training content can feel repetitive at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 provides easy setup and management, assisting us with phishing training, analyzing staff click rates, and ensuring ongoing security awareness. Its quarterly testing keeps security a regular focus and helps identify individuals needing extra training.
Practical Training, Realistic Phishing Simulations, and Effortless Automated Campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the training content is practical and easy to consume. The phishing simulations feel realistic without being over-the-top, and the reporting makes it easy to see trends across the organization. The automated campaigns and reminders reduce manual overhead, and the integration with our identity platform makes user provisioning straightforward. It’s also helpful that there’s a wide variety of content formats, so it doesn’t feel repetitive every cycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the training modules can feel generic or overly scripted, especially for more technical users. After a few cycles, the phishing simulations can become somewhat predictable unless they’re rotated carefully. The reporting is strong at a high level, but deeper customization of dashboards and exports could be improved. There’s also a bit of alert fatigue if campaigns are run too frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 helps address human risk by improving user awareness around phishing, social engineering, and general security hygiene. It gives measurable insight into user behavior over time, which supports risk-based decision making and compliance reporting. The platform makes it easier to demonstrate ongoing security training efforts to leadership and auditors while also reinforcing a security-first mindset across the organization.
KnowBe4 Makes Risk-Based Security Awareness Easy and Measurable
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is how well it supports a risk-based, data-driven security awareness program rather than just one time training. We run quarterly phishing campaigns, and the platform makes it very easy to identify users who fail simulations and automatically enroll them in targeted clickers training.
The Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment (SAPA) and Cybersecurity Culture assessments are especially valuable to us because they give us clear visibility into our organizational and employee-level weakness. Instead of guessing where our gaps are in terms of security, we can see them measured and tracked over time.
What also really stands out is the ability to assign training each quarter based on actual user behavior and assessment results. Employees are trained on their specific weaknesses, which makes the training more effective and keeps engagement higher. The reporting dashboard also makes it easy to demonstrate progress and improve to leadership.
Overall, KnowBe4 helps us move beyond compliance and build a stronger, continuously improving security culture across our organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
While knowbe4 offers excellent training and phishing simulations, a few areas could be improved which are the training modules feel a bit outdated, and certain content can seem repetitive for employees who go through multiple quarterly trainings.
The user interface and navigation can also be less intuitive at times, making it slightly tricky to find specific reports or historical campaign data especially for new admins.
Despite this minor issues, the platform's ability to target training based on user weaknesses and measure progress makes it highly effective for building a stronger security culture.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training solve the problem of human error in cybersecurity, particularly phishing susceptibility and weak security awareness among employees. By running quarterly phishing simulations, identifying users who fail, and assigning targeted clickers training, it addresses gaps in knowledge exactly where they exist rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
The Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment (SAPA) and Cybersecurity Culture assessments give us measurable insights into organizational and employee weaknesses, helping us focus our training where it needed the most.
The benefit for us is clear: we can reduce risk, improve compliance, and continuously strengthen our security culture by training employees based on actual behavior and measurable gaps.

Effective Security Awareness Training That Reduces Real-World Risks
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things i appreciated most about knowbe4 is how practical and hands-OM/ The phishing simulation campaigns are especially valuable-i can build schedule and deploy them quickly using the built-in templates and the customization options let me tailor scenarios to match real-world threats our users might encounter.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Knowbe4 is a powerful platform, there are a few areas that could be improved to make the experience smoother. One feature I’d especially like is an easier way to quickly pull metrics for leadership, since right now I have to export them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowbe4 addresses several key challenges in our security program, and the impact has been noticeable across both user behavior and administrative workload. For example, it helps reduce phishing risk across the organization while also standardizing and simplifying security training.
Honest Review about KB4
What do you like best about the product?
We use this platform to run our awareness training through short videos and phishing simulations, and I’m impressed by the range of templates and content available.
We’ve made The Inside Man series an optional training that’s open to all users, and it’s been getting a fair amount of attention in our organization lately. I also appreciate the level of granularity you get when setting up trainings and groups.
On the support side, our customer success manager has been very helpful in addressing our questions, and the KB4 email support team has been responsive as well. Overall, implementation was relatively easy, and the platform felt intuitive even for first-time users.

What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to our previous HRM provider, the built-in Phish Alert button in KB4 could use some improvement. In particular, the speed of reporting a potential phishing email feels slow, and it’s missing key features like whitelisting known senders, which could help reduce false positive reports.
It would be nice to be able to nudge users via MS Teams when they receive a new security awareness training.
AIDA is sometimes buggy, need to test the campaign first before letting it take the wheel and decide what simulation email or training it will use.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation side of KB4 works wonders, and it helps us consistently deliver security awareness. I also appreciate when they send the Security Awareness Month campaign kit that we can use to guide us through October. Overall, it gives me more time to focus on other initiatives while KB4 follows the plan I’ve set for it.
Excellent Training Library with Engaging Video & Interactive Modules
What do you like best about the product?
I love the number of training modules available across all tiers—you really get what you pay for. There’s a strong mix of video-based learning and interactive modules, and our users can easily understand the content and apply it to their lives both in and out of the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if more types of interactive quizzes and games were developed. There’s a solid core selection, but there aren’t many new ones available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 helps ensure our users stay aware of the newest scams, and it allows us to stay on top of them. It also provides a strong foundation that we can continue to build on.
Clear, Up-to-Date Security Training with Effective Phishing Simulations
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about KnowBe4 is that the training content is clear, up to date, and easy to understand for non-technical users. The phishing simulations and short training modules help reinforce good security practices on a regular basis without being disruptive. The platform also makes it easy to track progress and supports building overall security awareness across the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that some training modules can feel repetitive over time, especially for users who have already completed similar content in previous cycles. Additionally, certain simulations may not always reflect the most recent real-world scenarios. Expanding content variety and updating simulations more frequently could further improve engagement and effectiveness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using KnowBe4, we struggled with maintaining consistent security awareness across users and reducing the risk of phishing-related incidents. After implementing the platform, we now have a more structured and ongoing training program that helps users better recognize potential threats. This has improved overall awareness, reduced risky behavior, and saved time by centralizing training and reporting in one platform.
Absolutely waste of money and time
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing at all, it is an absolute waste of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is an absolute waste of time. Even our system fail the trainings.
Do not fall for their tricks. It only creates a lot of annoyed people throughout the organization.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is not solving anything, the only one benefiting is the person who signed the contact and get the annual Christmas gift from their sales team I guess.
Easy, Automated Way to Stay on Top of User Training
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to keep up with my users. Much of it can be automated and then run itself which is convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option for smaller more targeted trainings. For example, if a user fails a phishing test instead of them taking the entire 30-minute training again they could be given a few minute training on exactly what they missed. Perhaps even show the original email they failed and have them pick out the problems as a test after the training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phishing scams are a major concern for us. We feel like KnowBe4 helps us make our users aware of the risk and what to look for to avoid them.
Platinum Package Disappoints: Too Little Content for the Price
What do you like best about the product?
Not much to like, its functionality is quite average when compared to other providers. We have been using knowbe4 for 3 years or more now.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of content available on the Platinum package is quite disappointing. For the amount you pay you dont get the value in content available for our organization. It should be a pay per content model as I presume alot of the content is in the diamond package which is unaffordable and doesnt make business sense. It also forces us to use th PAB button which we are not keen on using and has little to no integration with microsoft. The phishing tests on knowbe4 kicks out alot of false positives so we use microsoft instead.
