Helpful training materials
What do you like best about the product?
Augments our general compliance training that is not specific enough with mostly tech-focused security training. Replaced in-house materials that were challenging to update.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our (mainly IT) staff have recognized the senders for phishing tests and set up email rules to divert them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing awareness among staff about the breadth of potential threats.
All in one security awareness and training tool
What do you like best about the product?
Saves time to have basic security concepts in a professionally done course. Users can be assigned courses and we avoid repetitive training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the course is easy to skip through without a user paying close attention. But the exam does test knowledge ar the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phishing, malware and general cyber security concepts that all end users need to understand the complexities of nowadays.
Simple and Effective
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to configure, allows for limited IT touch time but still effective training for your employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial config requires you to spend a good bit of time learning the KB4 way of doing things. A little bit more universal GUI and it could be killer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance and C level phishing training.
Most Polished and Comprehensive Security Training Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The phishing simulation platform is the most comprehensive and well-designed solution on the market. I also appreciate that the KnowBe4 platform offers training videos/courses that work in synergy with their phishing simulation function. I was able to replace two solutions with their consolidated platform for less money and superior function.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating a phishing simulation can be less intuitive compared to some other platforms, but you'll grow accustomed to it after a simulation or two.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since over 90% of all corporate breaches begin with a phishing e-mail, we focus heavily on educating our users and reducing our phishing susceptibility metric. Switching to KnowBe4 has led to a significant improvement in this regard, and I appreciate that I can compare our susceptibility score to our industry peers.
Our prior phishing simulation platform was fraught with persistent false positives, but this is a non-issue with KnowBe4 due to very detailed and comprehensive whitelisting guidance. Our previous phishing simulation provider also refused to offer phishing templates for actual threats related to current events such as COVID or the Ukraine war. When I asked why, they eventualy confessed that it was due to what could only be described as an odd and misplaced sense of political correctness. If threat actors reference these topics in phishing e-mails, my phishing simulation provider needs to be on top of it. KnowBe4 is on top of it. My previous provider was not.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is superior
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 security training is awesome, having videos of Kevin Mitnick showing the crowd how easy it is to get hacked and credentials stolen is vital to teaching others that they need to be vigilant.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connection between active directory and the platorm is clunky using SCIM. There is alot of testing involving with maintaining users and preventing groups from being imported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to teach users to be more vigilant when handling digital communication ultimately, to prevent a breach at the company. The more users that are practicing good cybersecurity practice increases its hardiness.
Knowbe4: your complete solution for user Cybersecurity awareness training!
What do you like best about the product?
Highly customizable training where the exact topics you want covered can be selected and made available to users. Also monitors simulated phishing attacks and users that click are sent training content tailored to them. Training content is also interesting and fun to hold users' interest!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not found any downsides to the product to date. Very customizable, affordable, easy to obtain reporting and metrics, and the content is very customizable and fun to keep users engaged!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of providing engaging training content to our user community to raise awareness around our Cybersecurity program and prevent social engineering-type attacks.
Easy to administer, even easier to get data on the training.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the lessons are up to date and include newer items on the horizon. They dont treat you as a dummy. Its just great training. The training is well received with our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The training can get a little tedious but the users seem to enjoy it. I personally get all I can from the training but have to come back as I get bored of the questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe it is training my users to spot suspicious email to report it or delete it. It also gets them aware and they alert to email that are not even spam, it works so well.
The brief videos were very informative.
What do you like best about the product?
Until this training, I didn't realize how often cyber hackers attempt to access your accounts. The trainings have made me more vigilant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any issue with the training.

KnowNe4 has helped to better protect our district. I am watching my inboxes more carefully thanks to this program.
Great training material
What do you like best about the product?
Great training material content with real-world examples showing how easy it is for the "Bad Guys" to trick users into allowing them to bypass any security protocols in place
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though there are a lot of different training options available, it seems like most of the relevant content is newsletters and posters, which would be great if users would take the time to read them. Most of the really good training courses are only available in the highest tier subscription.
Additionally, subscription prices have risen significantly since we first partnered with KnowBe4, with very little in the way of new or updated features. It's getting difficult to justify the cost increases to senior management, and we will likely be forced to find a different vendor when our current subscription is up for renewal, unfortunatatly.

Limited role-specific training content for customer service reps and developers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using AI/ChatGBT as an example, KnowBe4 was pretty quick to put some content out there, which is great. But I don't feel the content (that video on demand) failed to address what it means to average technology users; specifically, it did not touch on what users should not do to avoid security incidents when interacting with AI.
