Great Product and Great Support
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, quality of content, updates of content and customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting is not exactly on target for what I need, but overall like the available reports and the ability to create some custom ones.
An additional layer of filters would be helpful. For instance, let's say I'm looking at users past due, but I only want to see ones past due by more than a specific period or enrolled on or before a certain date. I certainly can do that filtering in excel after exporting. However, the ability to do it on the website and then email just those filtered would be a nice feature.
Would love to be able to create an ad hoc email on the fly without it having to be a template. So, if I'm emailing a certain subset of people I can send specific information needed to be communicated without creating a template that won't be used again.

It is educating our users on the cyber risks associated with electronic communications. It has brought discipline to our security awareness efforts and enabled us to address some essential security controls.
Knowbe4 is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
This product is so granular you can control every message, types of messages, and use smart groups. The product saves many man hours and gives you a true assestment of your company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that is truly something to get used to is the smart groups. We do have a request in to add and and/or button on the smart grroups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great phishing tester, we have turned on AIDA a few months ago which has made the phishing emails more directed at the users which is more like an actual test would be. Our percentage originally went up to 25% but we are seeing a drastic improvement since we added this feature.
KB4 InfoSec Awareness Training
What do you like best about the product?
Their phishing platform is very good. We use that to enhance the awareness of our end users through simulated phishing campaigns. The training content is also very good with it's diverse mix of training videos and games. Kb4 does a good job of mixing up the content and adding gamification to the courses. The automation of the programs is very nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the games were a little more polished. The games use old school flash and midi sound maps which are cute at first but become very repetitive after a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving compliance problems. Security awareness is key for us and this has helped raise awareness across the various business units. We are solving how to make security awareness more interesting and relatable to our end users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about your security maturity. The Training content inside of KnowBe4 is very good but very mature. For an immature security, this may be too much. Security training should be tailored to meet the maturity level of the staff. KnowBe4's training are very thorough but consider not all staff members are ready and need to be slowly introduced to security.
Very slick training management with an excellent phishing simulation tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The management interface is very easy to navigate and use. There is a decent range of training modules available to suit most businesses. The phishing simulation module in particular is excellent. Setting up and syncing users was also simple, which allowed us to onboard all our staff very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the best video and training modules are locked behind the highest tier subscription, which is fine, except these often find their way through the filters when reviewing a video for a campaign. Some of the video content would be unsuitable for certain environments; depending on your business culture, you might find some of the videos immature in style. There is enough professional content though to cover just about any cyber security awareness training that you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
General cyber security awareness training; how to identify social engineering attacks, USB drive safety, internet browsing safety etc. Also phishing training, especially as part of simulated phishing campaigns. It is difficult to keep cybersecurity in the mind of staff, so being able to regularly push out content, and keep them on their toes with phishing simulations, keeps cybersecurity in the forefront of people's minds.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend this service. KnowBe4 also offered an extensive trial, which competitors didn't, which made them stand out.
Great platform with excellent capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
It is an excellent platform for targetting users, proving awareness through tracking uplift in security on a repeat basis through automated means. We hope this will be a great tool for us going forward to make sure our users have a high awareness of the vulnerbailities and targetting this could receive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The LMS systems and the user targetting licensnig is separate. This significantly changes the cost of the tool and almost led to us not progressing with our purchase.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly and very well demonstrated. Most of the content videos and funny and makes you engage with the content. Content serves to all people irrespective of technical/nontechnical.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of up-to-date content sometimes doesn't provide on time. Content must be deep with a few examples which can demonstrate the different scenarios, which help to understand it better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help fight against cybercrimes like information classification, phishing, spam, theft identification, social engineering, password policies, and protecting data.

Very quick implementation time, easy to use, easy to manage, and great for auditing
What do you like best about the product?
The KnowBe4 team was a true partner in getting us up and running quickly. Their personal hands-on 'white glove' approach with training our team to use all of the system's features ensured we had a successful deployment. From Phishing testing to Information Security and Compliance training, it covers all of what we need, and it now has us re-thinking our entire training approach. As a bonus, we created a Compliance module using a custom recording and incorporated that into our training.
The documentation is excellent, and the support desk is very responsive. We are a small client, yet to KnowBe4, that does not matter. It was like a partnership.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was an unnecessary amount of pressure to onboard quickly. The configuration for the Office 365 exchange setup is complex, and the engineer did not walk us through the nuances of that configuration. That resulted in several false starts. Administrators have additional information in their portal, which makes it challenging to find their specific assigned training. Aside from the Kevin Mitnik training and the "The Inside Man" series, the other targeted training modules were much less impactful because of their less serious and cartoon-like presentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our goals were to deliver automated Phishing testing and annual security awareness and compliance training. What we got was so much more! The phishing testing presents a score for the individual, makes suggestions, and can even auto-enroll the user in specialized training if you configure it to do so. It scores the entire organization and ranks the company against other companies of the same or similar size in the same or similar industry. These metrics are a great way to measure the progression of the organization's security program and to report the continued value of information security to senior leadership.

Be sure to detail your base requirements before engaging KnowBe4.
Keep in mind that for the Security Awareness training to be successful, all employee communication must be engaging.

Fun and Informative
What do you like best about the product?
There are many tools to review knowledge of security and phishing awareness.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is not a lot to dislike it is very useful easy and fun to use - it could be a bit more informative on what hackers can do with the information and how dangerous it really is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I learned a lot about phishing awareness and what other nuances there are to issues.

What do you like best about the product?
They have short tutorials about how to recognize phishing emails and keep the company safe from hackers. Videos and narration to help you better understand. Quiz at the end to make sure you paid attention
What do you dislike about the product?
The videos aren't super interesting but they are explained simply enough that anyone should be able to comprehend...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have passed "phishing email" tests every time because I saw in the video that hackers will send links in an email that looks like its from someone within your company. Never click on links until you verify with a supervisor it's not a phishing email
