What do you like best about the product?
Automated Phishing tests and reporting.
Training is relative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the administrative tasks / maintenance are less than intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Continuous testing as made our human firewalls better at detecting Phishing attempts. The test emails are becoming more realistic and timely.

Great product with lots of features, highly customizable!

What do you like best about the product?
It's highly customizable and allows you to create phishing campaigns and training campaigns that best fit your company. The smart groups are amazing because it automates a lot of training so that as an admin you don't have to babysit it. New features are released very often. The ability to create your own content and then upload into Knowbe4 has been an awesome addition. Seems like they are always looking to add more features based on user feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like it if more training courses were released more often. I know this depends on your subscription level, but some of them take a year or so for a new version to come out. It did get a bit expensive as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to train all new users, create a yearly training campaign that is ongoing so it doesn't have to be managed closely, and we're able to continuously test our users with unique and changing phishing emails to ensure that they are always thinking before they click. I love that it automatically enrolls them in a training when they click.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's highly customizable which I haven't seen in other products. Highly recommend!

What do you like best about the product?
The KnowBe4 platform is very easy to use and offers a lot of different services. The few times I have had an issue or a question, I was able to get help very quickly. We have approximately 150 Users on the service and I am able to easily assign ongoing Security Awareness training videos to them as well as assign initial training to new employees. We use the Phishing email testing as well and our scores have dramatically improved since our initial testing. There are a LOT of templates to use for almost every occasion and more are being created all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really, the only thing that I have had a problem with is some of the reporting aspects. I am able t get all of the information I need, but I have to pull 2 or 3 different reports as CSV files and then merge them in Excel. I have spoken / emailed with Support about what I was trying to do and they said they would elevate it to a "feature request." So, maybe the reporting will improve some in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we use KnowBe4 for is the constant SPAM emails that we receive. We have good firewalls and SPAM filtering, but so many still get through. Thanks to the training our employees receive through the KnowBe4 platform, they are very aware of suspicious links and other tricks that Spammers use. We know they are learning and doing better because we also use the KnowBe4 platform to send out our own Phishing Test emails and our scores are consistently very good.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend KnowBe4. They are doing a great job with the Security Awareness training videos as well as the Phishing test email templates. They are continuously adding new features and products. We have been thoroughly pleased with them over the last 5 years.

Great product but lacks multiple language training modules

Ease of use and reporting, interface is clear and functional in its design.

The lack of training videos in multiple languages, very frustrating needing to send out the same training module videos to satisfy language requirements.

If language isn't a concern than you don't need to look any further.

"The Best" Information Security Training Solution

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very easy to use, content is refreshed frequently and best of all the Success Managers are proactive in communicating new services to ensure I am getting the most value from my investment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 provides easy to deliver Information Security Training, printable content, Scam of the week informational emails and more. The company Phish prone percentage has dropped significantly and all employees are well versed in security threats. They question everything before they click or respond.

What do you like best about the product?
Comparing where you stand with your specific industry. Able to be very granular in the phishing messages sent to users. (You can train to be aware of fax received link and specifically send a fax received phishing test. Weekly security tips are great also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. The product has gotten more customizable over the years, but nothing too complicated to manage. Just wish we could send out reminders hourly to complete you assigned security training videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 is raising awareness with phishing attacks. Serving as a training platform and delivering current tips to people.

What do you like best about the product?
The service is easy to use. Love the online UI. Scheduled phishing campaigns provide lots of options for test phishes and scheduling varieties. Plus the customer support is phenomenal. Every few months I receive an actual phone call from a real person--not a sales person trying to sell me more. My account manager calls and schedules time to review KnowBe4's recent updates and new features, to make sure we're getting everything we can out of the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their minimum license begins with 25 users. Our company is just a tad under that, so we go ahead and subscribe for 25 because it's well worth it. But it would be nice to take that minimum size down to 10 or 15.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems. Benefits: our employees are much more aware of what they are doing in their emails. They are learning not to click on links and not to open attachments. The video training modules are relevant and successful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of your account manager's help. They are helpful in guiding setup, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I took two courses on KnowBe4
- Security Awareness Training
- OWASP Top 10

The security awareness training program was ok. I liked that they showed a few exploits in live video demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
The OWASP Top 10 program was hands down the worst training content I've ever had to take. Stay away if at all possible. I'm sure someone (anyone!) offers a more effective training program. They have prepared this content in a manner that it doesn't matter who you are or what your background - this will be an absolute chore to sit through.

2+ hours of a narrator reading text on a slide with a ton of D-grade stock images. If you try to go to a different window, it stops. If you skip ahead, it yells at you. Instead of building engaging or interesting content, they have focused on building frustrating controls that enforce completing the course. You will want to bash your skull into the computer the entire time you have to take it. There are so many better ways to teach this content, and the result is engagement and retention from this program is probably abysmally low.

AVOID!!!!

As an engineer at my company, I am required to undergo security training on an annual basis. My company selected KnowBe4 to provide this training.

Top Notch User Awareness Training

What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 has a checklist to help onboard and introduce you to the platform. This checklist helps guide you throughout the process and links to their many training guides and helpdesk documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only "downside" I've found to their system is it is highly focused on Office 365 whereas we use GSuite internally it would be helpful to get additional advanced tooling for GSuite. I know this may not be in KnowBe4's control as they are at the mercy of Google on this one.

We are solving the user awareness training and keeping our employees up to date on the most recent social engineering attacks, phishing tactics and prevention training as well as assessing our businesses vulnerability to phishing and social engineering attacks.
