Intuitive Security Awareness Training with Realistic Phishing Simulations
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 has proven to be an excellent security awareness and training platform with ease of implementation and superb customer support. The solution is intuitive, well-structured, and highly effective in strengthening employees’ understanding of cybersecurity risks. The phishing simulation campaigns are realistic and easy to customize, helping users recognize and respond to real-world threats with greater confidence.
The training content is comprehensive, regularly updated, and suitable for users at all levels, making it easy to use and build a strong security-first culture across the organization. Reporting and analytics are clear and actionable, allowing administrators to track progress, measure risk reduction, and demonstrate compliance with industry standards.

False Positives or Scoring Frustrations

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KnowBe4 helps organizations reduce the likelihood and impact of security breaches caused by human error, while providing measurable risk reduction and compliance evidence. It trains users to identify and report threats correctly, improving incident response speed and reducing IT workload. Standardizes baseline security knowledge and expectations across all employees, contractors, and new joiners.
Powerful Webhook & API Integrations for a Highly Customizable Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The vastness of integrations that we can do with other platforms. Webhook and API integrations make it very powerful and customizable. Its easy to set up and start using. The AI tools make it great to manage your human risk on a day to day basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to filter by certain criteria in smart groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the rise of AI, phishing emails have become a lot more crafty and virtually indistinguishable from the real thing. This makes social engineering a lot more attractive method of entry that the traditional brute force methods. Its now easier for threat actors to convince a target to let them in, than the effort and skill required to break in. Knowbe4 helps address this issue at a very deep level with its own AI tools to combat these threats and ensure our users are educated and always think before acting.
Quick Setup and Automated Training That Checks All the Compliance Boxes
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's quick and easy to setup and I love that I can automate training to people who fail certain phishing simulations. The biggest part that I appreciate I think is that it handles sending it out to the users and bugging them to complete the training when they ignore my requests personally.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to know how people retain it sometimes but for compliance issues it checks all the boxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auditing purposes mostly
Strong Relationships and Growth, but Technical Support Can Be Slow
What do you like best about the product?
The relationship it establishes, different types of information, continued growth.
What do you dislike about the product?
The technical support has become frustrating, due to the level of knowledge or troubleshooting can sometimes take longer to resolve the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping the team engaged with the latest features to help support the security awareness program.
Effortless Setup, Valuable Updates
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training, which makes it accessible for our team. Additionally, the updates to the trainings are great for keeping up with changing trends, saving us time on research and updates. The initial setup was very easy, and when we needed help, the support was excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the timing of the updates. It would be better if the trainings were updated as soon as updates come out, not a few weeks later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to centralize our security trainings. It prevents us from wasting time creating and updating trainings ourselves, thanks to its easy-to-use system and timely updates.
It's a complete package to benefit an organization in many ways
What do you like best about the product?
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training feels like a complete solution. They offer a lot of material across a wide range of topics, giving users knowledge and guidance in a way that isn’t boring or drawn out.
The ability to automate phishing tests on a recurring schedule, along with how easy it is to swap phishing templates within an automated campaign, is extremely beneficial. The Phish Alert email plugin also makes it simple for users to report suspected phishing emails.
Creating dynamic groups based on user attributes, so you can target different lines of business for certain training without ever having to manually add a user to a group.
I’ve looked at other solutions over the years, and none of them fully replace what KnowBe4 can do. Most were missing some basic functionality and the level of automation I’ve gotten used to.

If you want to create your own content with questions or a quiz, you’ll need to use third-party SCORM software to build and complete it.

Security awareness training, policy acknowledgements, phishing campaigns, and custom-material quizzes.
Set-It-and-Forget-It Automation with a Powerful Training Content Library
What do you like best about the product?
The "set it and forget it" nature of the automation. Being able to sync with Azure AD/Okta and schedule an entire year’s worth of monthly phishing simulations and quarterly trainings in a single afternoon is a massive time-saver. The content library is also powerful; having access to different "brands" of training (like The Inside Man series) keeps users engaged so they don’t feel like they’re watching the same dry HR videos every year.
What do you dislike about the product?
The administrative interface is incredibly powerful but has a bit of a steep learning curve for new admins. There are so many sub-menus that it can be easy to lose where a specific setting is located. Additionally, some of the older localized content for international teams can feel a bit dated compared to the newer flagship series.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has significantly reduced our "Phish-prone Percentage" from a 15% baseline to under 6% in less than a year. It provides the reporting data I need to show leadership that our "human firewall" is actually strengthening.
Effortless Compliance and Training Management
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of use of KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training. Building trainings and campaigns is pretty slick, which makes the process much smoother. Another key advantage is that it maintains our compliance for ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA, and allows a quick and easy way to provide training for employees without having to create this ourselves. Additionally, it connects with Vanta to support our compliance efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more up to date trainings, there are many layers to do anything, using the smart groups and connecting with the trainings feels more involved and cumbersome than it needs to be.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training keeps us compliant with ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and simplifies employee training. It offers an easy way to conduct training without building it ourselves and connects with Vanta for compliance.
Enhances Security Awareness, Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training because it covers diverse cybersecurity topics, which include important areas like Phishing, Spear Phishing, AI, Email Compromise, Hacking, and Ransom. This comprehensive coverage helps in enhancing the awareness among end-users in our organization and significantly augments our security posture. I also appreciate that after training, our employees work as a Human Firewall, which is vital as the last line of defense. Because of the training, I notice that users are more vigilant and careful when interacting with emails and other internet-related activities. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty easy, and our success manager helped us a lot, which was a great support.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many content that require upgrade of the account. Those should be made available to all. It would be better to have one type of license only.

I use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to enhance end-user awareness, reducing the risk of social engineering traps. It minimizes threat areas, with trained employees acting as a Human Firewall, making users more vigilant and careful with emails and online interactions.
Efficient Phishing Training with Robust Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training on a monthly basis for our quarterly phishing training and test emails. I appreciate how it gives us metrics and insights on how our end users handle phishing attempts and automates this process as well. I like the phishing AI templates that have been extra challenging this year for our company, which has benefited us by improving end user click rates. Additionally, the reports help us generate our Cyber metrics on phishing, and I found the initial setup very easy to get familiar with.

I use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for quarterly phishing training. It provides metrics on user responses to phishing and automates the process, helping us with challenging AI templates that benefit our click rates and generate cyber metrics.
