Thoughtspot Great BI solution
What do you like best about the product?
Fast data setup for search.
Search experience is very good , it is fast and agile even with complex search.
Able to provide API's for customization. We can query millions of data for our application in seconds.

What do you dislike about the product?
Currently Thoughtspot development focus on cloud but our current platform is "On Premise".
So we are left behind in terms of the new and advance features.
Also I don't like is , when I issue a ticket most of the time the SRE is very slow to answer.
Then if they answer and say "let's schedule a call when are you available?" I will answer with my availability but they will not answer back for days. This is very annoying.....

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved a lot of manual data handling , report generation , easy access to data.
Currently we are exploring intelligence functions in Thoughtspot.

Visually apealing, quite colourful thoughout and not dated UI/UX

hmm, can be a bit confusing to use at time. since it doesn't follow a Database/Spreadsheet style

AI Search capabilities to quickly get answers to our business real estate questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a new product that we have added to our BI suiite of applications, so we are still evaluating the AD Sync, which appears to be not as simple. But I still recommend the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick analytics at the hands of our business users. The benefits we have realized thus far is the ease of use to leverage ThoughtSpot with Snowflake to quickly get to finding answers related to across account savings for our clients, quickly identify CRE space and lease opportunities across our portfolio.

What do you like best about the product?
From onboarding to product features to customer service - the whole experience was just incredible. Natural language querying is instantly is the best feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside at the beginning was that ThoughtSpot didn't come equipped with recurring revenue dashboard samples, but the ThoughtSpot team worked with us and shared solutions to get our reporting up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for an easy to set-up and use BI tool that can be adopted company-wide and doesn't require users to have technical SQL knowledge but still empowers them to query data.

What do you like best about the product?
The UI and UX - it has amazing NLP processing capability that helps any user learn the product in matter of hours and not even days. With its senseIQ - Machine learning automation you can quickly build insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is too high and based on GB or TD of data you store in the memory which is very high on cost. Also it should have equal capability to be able to drag-drop and build report and not just stuck with Q&A

Self-service BI for everyone including the business users and democratization data to bringing quick business insights.

Spot IQ is one of the best feature which allows me to analyse data quickly .
Also the level of freedom it gives to any data analyst in terms of searching the data and the way joins can be applied is recommendable.

The fact that we need to select each column of the worksheet individually while searching.

I am working with an Insurance company as a data analyst. I basically create visualisations for the data which allows my client to look at the reports

The best thing about ThoughtSpot is that its business-friendly and does not require any prior knowledge of the backend to get insights out of the worksheets already created by the development team.
Also, the UI is very simple and the Spot IQ feature will come in very handy in the ear future

What do you dislike about the product?
The glitches in Thoughtspot while saving your work is very annoying. Also, the loading of data through various sources like redshift is not that easy, however I think that has been resolved in the latest update.

I am working for a Data Analytics company ad use ThoughtSpot to create meaningful insights of the data generated by the businesses.

Little expensive for mid-range companies and shortage of technical resources

What do you like best about the product?
I have never seen a tool like Thoughtspot in my entire life. I have used this tool almost since its inception and was very much impressed from the entire product.

Updates for ThoughtSpot were kind of slow as compared to other leading tools in the market. To compete with them, it has to speed up development.

ThoughtSpot Search and SpotIQ are the competent tools one can utilize to solve the business problems.
