You can centrally manage multi-cloud costs, and creating reports is easy with a user-friendly UI.
What do you like best about the product?
It is convenient to be able to centralize and check the costs in a multi-cloud environment. Additionally, I found it better that the UI is easier to view and cost reports are easier to create compared to the native cost management tools of each cloud service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The display between dollars and yen is not switching properly, and even though the logo is ¥, the cost is shown in dollars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
・Budget Formulation, Budget vs. Actual Management, and Improvement of Future Cost Forecast Accuracy
It is beneficial to automatically predict future cloud costs based on past trends, allowing you to understand early on "how much it is likely to be by the end of the month at this pace." It becomes easier to compare budget, forecast, and actual results side by side, which aids decision-making for management and financial departments.
・Cultivation of FinOps Culture (Cost Awareness and Ownership)
Since dashboards can be divided by team/service/project/tenant, on-site engineers and product owners can directly check "their own costs." Even if there are constraints that prevent granting permissions to native cost management tools of the service, with Vantage, it becomes possible to operate in a way that shows costs to everyone.

Simple Setup and Easy-to-Use Dashboards for Users of all Experience Levels
What do you like best about the product?
Relatively simple setup. Dashboards and user screens make for easy interaction from non-experts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is a negative but also unavoidable factor if an organization needs a cloud tracking solution in the first place. The interface, while simple, is overly simple compared to some competitor offerings, but really nitpicking here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enhanced visibility and context, allowing for cloud engineering folks to more easily document and detail nature of spend for counterparts or other stakeholders benefit.
Vantage Delivers Powerful FinOps Insights for Cost Visibility and Accountability
What do you like best about the product?
Vantage is an extremely powerful tool for gaining precise insights into cost utilization. It empowers the operations team with strong FinOps capabilities, enabling better cost visibility, accountability, and data-driven optimization decisions across cloud resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much to dislike about it overall, but I couldn’t find a dark mode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vantage is helping us identify cost utilization at a granular level. We can see the costs used per team or per tribe, which helps the Ops team and engineering leaders understand who is using what. It also helps each team take accountability for their costs.
experience using Vantage
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is simple to use and can be configured easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard configuration is very limited, when it comes to the type of charts and the data i want to represent, would like to have more options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vantage consolidates cost data across all services so we can get a single view of cloud spend
Vantage Makes Cloud Costs Clear, Actionable, and Easy to Track
What do you like best about the product?
Vantage makes cloud costs finally feel understandable and actionable. The clarity of the dashboards, smart breakdowns, virtual tagging and real-time insights turn what used to be guesswork into confident decision-making. It saves time, reduces noise, and gives immediate visibility into where money is actually going.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there’s very little to dislike. If anything, I just wish we had started using it earlier—cloud cost visibility feels incomplete without it now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vantage solves the problem of cloud cost opacity. Instead of digging through complex billing reports, we get clear, trustworthy insights into spend by service, team, and environment. This helps us optimize costs proactively, avoid surprises, and align engineering decisions with financial accountability.
Streamlined Cost Visibility that Bridges Engineering and Finance
What do you like best about the product?
The "Virtual Tagging" feature is a game-changer for us. It automatically categorizes our development and cloud costs, which saves me from spending hours manually tagging resources every Friday. The platform makes complex billing data digestible for non-technical stakeholders, particularly our finance team, which streamlines our reporting process significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the interface is functional, the UI could be polished to feel more modern. Additionally, the data latency—currently about a 24-hour delay in cost updates—can be frustrating when we need real-time feedback on infrastructure changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vantage solves the visibility gap between engineering and finance. It eliminates the manual toil of cost allocation and helps us instantly pinpoint the root cause of billing spikes. This transparency means we can catch budget issues early without requiring a dedicated DevOps engineer to interpret the bill.
Steep Learning Curve, Limited Charting, and Costly Fees Hold Vantage Back
What do you like best about the product?
Vantage is well regarded for its user-friendly, all-in-one trading app, offering a smooth, seamless experience with intuitive charting and real-time data for trading CFDs across a range of assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
common dislikes regarding Vantage (trading app/markets) include a steep learning curve, a complex setup process, limited charting tools (including no zoom), and mandatory lot-size ordering that forces users to do manual calculations. Users also report poor customer support and expensive fees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vantage is a cloud cost management platform built to address the complexity, limited visibility, and accountability challenges that come with modern multi-cloud and Kubernetes-heavy environments. It provides a single pane of glass that helps engineering and finance teams better understand cloud spending, manage it more effectively, and reduce overall cloud expenses.
Vantage Simplifies Cross-Platform Budgeting with Clear Cost Accountability
What do you like best about the product?
It simplifies cross-platform budgeting, reporting, and accountability. It also enables detailed cost breakdowns—by business unit, team, resource, or even individual queries and workflows—which helps teams attribute spend to the right owners and strengthen accountability. Vantage has a user-friendly interface, and the setup feels straightforward compared with native cloud provider tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features could be a bit complex to use e.g., network flow reports or custom configurations, native AI/ML spend reporting beyond basic integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1.Fragmented cost data across vendors
Vantage centralizes all this in one place, with detailed cost breakdowns by account, team, resource, and more, so you actually see what’s driving spend.
2.Hidden inefficiencies that drain budget
It provides automated recommendations and optimization insights (e.g., idle resource detection, rightsizing, savings plan purchasing) so teams can reduce unnecessary spending.
3.Costs are opaque and hard to attribute
It offers advanced cost allocation, hierarchical reports, and tagging tools — letting organizations attribute costs to teams, projects, services, or business units meaningfully.

Simplified Cloud Cost Management with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I find Vantage very useful for translating development and cloud costs into simple terms, which means I don't have to spend my Fridays tagging. The fact that costs are simplified is a big plus. I like that when the bill spikes high, Vantage helps identify the exact root cause of the spike. It's also impressive how the ease of work and breakdowns can be understood by non-technical folks, like finance teams. The initial setup was seamless, with AWS accounts and costs connected promptly, allowing us to see the costs the next day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI can be improved a bit, and also, if the delay in updating costs could be reduced from one day, that would be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vantage to simplify development and cloud costs, saving me from tagging on Fridays. It helps us understand cost spikes and is easily understood by non-technical teams like finance.
Best FinOps Software with Excellent Drill-Down for Deep Cost Insights
What do you like best about the product?
Best software for FinOps. The drill-down option is very good and makes it easy to explore the details when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need live data for costing. Right now, most of it isn’t available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If provided live cost data, which helps us make decisions quickly and reduce overall costing.
