A Game-Changer for Marketing Planning—Fast, Insightful, and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
We are an agency that has been using Mevo for several years across a variety of companies/industries. It has been a game changer for planning and optimization. It integrates with any available marketing data; online/offline. Mevo provides the visibility and insights needed to identify and recommend valuable program and spend adjustments. Mevo's intelligent AI, made even smarter through its augmented data, gives us confidence that our recommendations and plans will succeed. All of this is delivered in a fraction of the time that traditional methods would take. The realignment of ineffective spend, meaningfully improved results, and substantial time savings add up to significant ROI. Additionally, Mevo answers questions that were once nearly impossible to answer--can you really measure your brand's impact? Mevo can. When you first see Mevo, it is easy to underestimate its power because Marketing Evolution has removed all complexity and has built a tool that is simple to use and consistently performs. And somehow, they still manage to improve it every year. Insightful tech paired with a responsive team who genuinely cares about your success...highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn’t call it a dislike, but rather a required shift in mindset. Identifying results and spotting trends often takes hours of collecting, understanding, manipulating, and analyzing data before you can make confident recommendations. With Mevo, you simply ask a question and receive an answer. At first, it felt almost too simple.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We love Mevo's flexibility as it can support countless objectives. While it’s capable of much more, we’ve found focusing on one or two clear goals at a time works best. Mevo helps us understand the most effective and efficient ways to achieve those goals. We’ve used Mevo across several initiatives, including driving growth, reducing waste, understanding brand, understanding channels (existing or new), etc. Once a goal has been identified, we run scenarios as part of the planning process to understand adjustments that will produce optimal results. Mevo can handle an endless number of scenarios, such as identifying the best media mix considering current market conditions, determining whether brand messaging or product messaging drives the greatest loyalty/sales, how to adjust online and offline spend to deliver greater ROI, identifying content that drives the greatest incremental sales, identifying the maximum spend by channel before seeing diminishing returns, etc. The benefit? Focusing attention, effort, and budget in the precise places for optimal results.

What do you like best about the product?
The Scenario Planner capability is one of the best features as it helps us plan our media efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little more work is required in the 'middle touch' are in the customer journey piece. Currently its too broad !
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficient marketing ROI. A holistic view and efficiency of our online and offline media activities.

Intelligent Software that Provides Optimal Media Guidance
What do you like best about the product?
The ME software integrates easily into our planning process. We are able to allocate our spending across channel/touchpoint/tier based on our marketing objective. It is highly intuitive and the reporting is easy to understand and implement.
Most other solutions use antiquated Bayesian algorithms that are particularly poor at picking up lower spending levels. They are typically backward looking. ME utilizes consumer-based attribution models that can examine recent spending and inform future results at required granular levels.
We are incredibly pleased with our partnership with Marketing Evolution. Their technology is state-of-the-art and continuously evolving and improving. Highly recommended!

There are no real cons. We just look forward to continuing to improve upon media data onboarding & model build times. (which are incredibly fast today)

We are determining how to most efficiently place media dollars for our clients leveraging our client's KPIs, such as sales and web actions. We can do this at the brand or campaign levels.
Right Time Marketing Decisions that Drive Real World Results
What do you like best about the product?
Marketing Evolution and the ROI Brain help answer questions such as the optimal reach and frequency within and between channels, and which messages are best for which audiences. They deliver more granular insights in terms of message sequencing, and next-best message decisions based on different audiences and different stages of the consumer journey. The platform includes external and environmental factors such as weather, traffic patterns and more. What’s more, the insights are delivered while campaigns are still live to drive massive performance improvements, rather than waiting for weeks or months to see results.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's always a fair amount of work getting up on a platform, but we were getting insights from the ROI Brain within the first 60 days - Far better than others were able to promise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing Evolution and the ROI Brain deliver right-time decisions to optimize the entire marketing mix. The platform gives insight into what's working, what's not working, and what might be hindering marketing efforts. There's a measurable upside to using the platform in our case a 42% improvement in marketing ROI in the first six months.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's important to get executive buy-in and agency cooperation if you're going to have a successful attribution solution. I suggest doing a thorough analysis of potential upsides and clearly identify the business outcomes you seek to achieve.
