Superhuman Makes Email Fun

  • March 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Superhuman makes email significantly faster and more intuitive. I love that everything happens from your keyboard with a series of commands, and you don't have to use your mouse at all. The CMD K feature brings forward a list of all possible commends too, so that if you forget one, you're not fumbling. After a super easy switch from Gmail, I haven't looked back! I've saved at least an hour per day using Superhuman. If you're someone who likes to sort your conversations into folders, the CMD V function is a game changer. Snippets (which essentially functions like email templates) is another gem of a feature if you find yourself sending the same types of follow ups often.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have only been a couple of hiccups. My organization uses an integration between Google Meets and Gong, which means we scheduling using "Gong Meetings." Superhuman doesn't have this integration yet, so I can only use the calendar function to share availability, not directly schedule meetings. The formatting tools could use a little help; I often struggle to make a clean looking bulleted list with space between items. I'd also love to see a feature where you can create a folder/label in Superhuman that translates to Gmail; for now, I have to go to Gmail to create new labels still.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to get back to customers significantly faster because I can quickly see which messages are urgent, between two people. I'm also then able to sort messages easily using quick commands, saving me time and mental bandwidth because I know I've set reminders to delay/snooze certain items and address the ones that need responses today.

For me, Superhuman is the best and fastest email client.

  • March 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Superhuman is its speed. You don’t even need a computer mouse to use the program—everything is incredibly fast with just the keyboard. I also really love the Snippets feature and the recent updates where AI automatically detects the correct label and sorts emails accordingly. It is quite expensive, but the price is justified if you process a lot of emails every day.
Superhuman has also been improving rapidly, and one of the most impressive recent updates is its AI-powered email categorization. The AI automatically detects the correct label and sorts emails accordingly, reducing the need for manual organization. This makes it easier to focus on what truly matters instead of wasting time managing your inbox.

Of course, Superhuman is not cheap. It’s one of the pricier email clients on the market, and for casual users, the cost might not be justifiable. But if you process a large volume of emails daily—whether for sales, client management, or business operations—the time saved is well worth the investment. The productivity boost alone can easily offset the subscription fee, making it an invaluable tool for those who rely heavily on email for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the price is justified given the features, I still feel that the new business plan costing $40 per month is quite steep. In my opinion, it’s a bit too much, especially when compared to similar tools on the market. While Ask AI is a solid and useful tool, I still notice occasional small errors in responses, which can be frustrating when relying on it for accuracy.

Additionally, I really miss the option to set the European time format—this seems like a basic yet crucial feature for international users. Another downside is the lack of a true dark mode. The current implementation is more of a dim gray rather than deep black, which doesn’t provide the same level of comfort for low-light usage. A proper black background would be a great improvement for those who work at night or prefer a high-contrast interface.

That being said, aside from these drawbacks, I can definitely recommend it. The overall functionality is strong, and it has a lot of potential if these minor issues are addressed in future updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even though the price is justified, I don’t like that the new business plan now costs $40—that’s too much in my opinion. Ask AI is good, but there are still occasional small errors. I also miss the option to set the European time format and the fact that there’s no true dark mode. It’s more of a gray mode rather than black. Other than that, I can definitely recommend it.

Excellent Email App For Executives

  • March 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Superhuman helps me get through email much faster than the Gmail app. In my entire workflow, I would say it saves me roughly 30 minutes per day, every day. It works on both my Mac and my PC. Also, I have had questions about the app, and customer support has always answered very quickly. Finally, the learning curve to integrate Superhuman into my workflow from Gmail was not steep.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's easily the most expensive email client out there. For me, it's worth it, but not without significant cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes my email workflow much faster, and allows me to get to Inbox Zero every day with much less effort than Gmail's native client.

This is a great tool to work in conjunction with Outlook.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use.
The hotkeys are amazing and quick.
Short and small learning curve for powerusers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are just a few features that you still have to use Outlook for.
Hopeful they get those to transition over very soon, and then it would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a big time saver for me so far.
The follow up feature is quite valuable also, and I see potential to create more business for my company when being used by the right people and used properly.

Superhuman is a powerful, sleak, and modern email client.

  • March 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity and amazing aesthetics of superhuman. The basic workflow is easy to use, and when you clear your inbox you get a nice reward. I like how the "folders" are kept simple and easy to understand. The customer support is amazing. I use the app every single day, and the integration with google calendar is really good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the complicated onboarding process, nor the cost. It's difficult to get superhuman downloaded and implemented. I have the student plan, and it's still about 5x the price of other competitors. However, for corporate use, I think it's worth the money.
I think the amount of features is just right, any more and it would be genuinely bloated but any less and competitors may catch up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superhuman solves the complexity that I used to have with Gmail and Outlook. I wanted a powerful email client and was willing to pay for a premium product. It benefits me not in terms of time savings per se, but it allows me better control and better feel of email, which enables me to be more productive.

The simplicity and ease of use is a huge plus. The learning curve is very minimal and you're up and running almost immediately. The snippets work well and the whole concept of inbox zero is genius.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still using gmail calendar. I wish the calendar had more flexibility
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
communication efficiency

Productivity Unlocked, AI & Unified Inbox Improvements Needed

  • March 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Superhuman is how fast and efficient it makes email. The shortcuts and overall navigation let me fly through my inbox in a way that feels effortless. I really like “smart send” for scheduling emails and making sure they hit at the right time. The reminder system is also a game changer — I can set reminders for follow-ups or automatically resurface threads if no one replies. It helps me stay on top of conversations without having to think about it. The keyboard-first design makes the whole experience smooth and distraction-free. I spend less time managing email and more time focusing on actual work. Altogether, Superhuman feels like a tool built for people who value speed, control, and staying organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about Superhuman is the lack of a unified inbox, especially on mobile. It’s frustrating to have to toggle between accounts instead of seeing everything in one place. That slows me down and breaks the flow that Superhuman does so well in other areas. I also think the “Ask AI” feature feels underdeveloped. It’s a great idea, but right now it’s limited — I can’t easily act on emails directly from the chat or use AI to manage workflows. It ends up feeling like a half-step rather than a real productivity boost. For a tool that’s all about speed and efficiency, I expected more from AI. If they added a unified inbox and made AI more actionable, it would take the product to the next level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superhuman is solving the problem of email taking too much time and focus. It helps me get through my inbox much faster than traditional tools, with an experience built entirely around speed and flow. I’m no longer stuck clicking around or hunting for the right buttons — everything is designed for quick, seamless navigation. It also eliminates the need for outside tools like reminder apps or task schedulers by letting me set follow-up reminders and “if no reply” nudges directly inside the app. The ability to schedule reminders that resurface emails at the right time is huge — I don’t have to hold everything in my head or manage a separate to-do list. Plus, the “remind on desktop” feature is a major unlock. It lets me delay action until I’m at my computer and in the right mindset to handle something properly, while still keeping my inbox clean in the meantime.
