Lightening fast email that saves me a ton of time

  • August 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Superhuman speeds up my ability to get through email. Instead of feeling bogged down, I can blaze through my inbox. It's lightening fast and it's packed with features that make email easy and even fun. I love the intuitive shortcuts, fast email scheduling, the remind function and even the ability to see when emails have been read. I can't say enough good things about my experience with it!
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is cost. At $30/month, it's certainly not cheap. But the amount of time is saving me makes the investment worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superhuman is making email less of a chore for me. I had been bogged down with a bloated inbox until I found Superhuman. Now, I can clear my inbox much quicker and don't feel so overwhelmed by my inbox. I thought I needed a VA, but it turns out, I just needed Superhuman!

FINALLY an email client that actually delivers what they promise!

What do you like best about the product?
It's a gamechanger. Really. It actually lives up to the marketing hype unlike all the others I've tried and nixed. I speed through my emails like lightning and actually easily achieve Inbox Zero regularly. It is SO well thought-out and designed and truly makes my life easier and helps me feel more peaceful and relaxed because there are not a gazillion emails hanging over my head all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally don't need gamification to motivate me and find the Achievement pop-ups annoying. I'm sure they've provided a way to turn it off but I haven't bothered to look yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superhuman solves the problem of drowning in neverending email hell. I had previously tried to implement Getting Things Done for my inboxes on my own and achieved it one but was unable to maintain it. Superhuman makes staying on top of the constant inundation of email easy.

It benefits me by forcing me to think clearly about what matters and what doesn't and taking appropriate action on it right away rather than letting things pile up. There is a subconscious [and sometimes VERY conscious] energy drain everytime you open your email and see hundreds or thousands of emails sitting there. It feels overwhelming and hopeless - whether you are consciously aware of that or not. Superhuman is like hiring a professional organizer to come and clean your hoarding situation - it takes the pressure off and leaves you with peace, calm and more energy to address what actually matters.

And best of all? Their customer support is top notch! They are fast, responsive and helpful. Everytime. Rahul Vohra definitely knows what's up and I look forward to whatever else he decides to come up with!

What do you like best about the product?
Superhuman allows me to quickly triage, mark as done, delete, unsubscribe and schedule emails. I no longer suffer from email overload.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a better calendar integration. I also love splits but I would like to see 2 inbox splits at a time to allow me to monitor our support inboxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduction in cognitive overload, the ability to make sure all of my email is dealt with in a proper way rather than just ignoring the unimportant I can move rapidly deleting, responding, marking as done, flagging, unsubscribing through the shortcuts.

What do you like best about the product?
Super fast way to manage emails. It's really well thought through. Not only makes it twice as fast to deal with and respond to emails, it also helps to facilitate focus (you see only a message you deal with in that moment, so no distractions). Makes it super easy to be decisive and get things done. Ai support is a game changer. So is follow up system - allows you to schedule a reminder if you don't get a reply to an email by certain time, so no more manual tracking of things to follow up with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any negatives about the software yet. Excellent support, fantastic help guides, super easy implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes archiving inbox zero easier. Allows to manage emails as tasks. Cuts my time spending on emails by half

- Speed
- Ease of use
- User tips/gamification
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using superhuman primarily to save time given the large volume of emails I need to process on a daily/weekly basis

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you can schedule everything, whether it's sending something, reminding to follow-up or just getting it back in front of you at a different time. The anxiety related to email had dramatically decreased. I can go through my inbox and address each item so i'm at inbox zero. And I don't have to worry about keeping things in my inbox to remind me to follow up. The key commands are getting easier to learn, the pop up prompts really help.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it worked with Yahoo email. And the cost is pretty high per month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing decision fatigue. Allowing me to focus on what is important and not get distracted by other things hanging out in my inbox.

Incredible app for managing email

What do you like best about the product?
Superhuman is just that...Superhuman! I fell in love with the product on day one and as I have learned more over time, I couldn't do without it. The shortcuts are easy to remember and save several hours of parsing through email each day. The interface is crisp and clean and it is such an intuitive product. If you give it a try, you won't look back. It is truly a gamechanger with the vast amount of emails that come into my inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike...honestly...it is the best email application hands down!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email organization which results in more effective time management so I can work on other projects instead of combing through email.

Major potential, minor growing pains

  • July 29, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
Superhuman undoubtedly delivers on its promise of making its users more productive - the keyboard shortcuts alone allow me to power through my email more quickly than ever. A few of my other favorite features include the search functionality (I find it to be much more intuitive coming from Gmail) and the flexibility to remind me about an email only if I haven't gotten a response vs. reminding me about it regardless (only the latter is possible via Gmail).
What do you dislike about the product?
A few shortfalls that I feel confident Superhuman could address -
(1) AI-generated responses feel incredibly wordy / 'fake' ; hopefully over time it adapts to my writing style to sound even more like me
(2) Split inboxes showcase the same email in two different places, which inflates the total number of unactioned emails i seem to have (e.g. could show up as '1' in the Team inbox and '1' in another inbox based on my settings). There should be option to have a hierarchy of where to show the email first and to have it not appear in multiple places
(3) Visually representing which emails have re-surfaced as a reminder that I set, vs. which are net new - e.g., Gmail visually indicates which emails were originally 'snoozed' .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superhuman solves the problems of triaging emails quickly, which slashes my time to process email. It also massively helps when I am part of different Gmail groups / aliases and want to separate out the messages easily.

You gotta spend time to save time

What do you like best about the product?
- Marking done on emails that don't require your attention anymore so they disappear
- Get Me to Zero feature marks all past emails as "done", which truly clears your inbox
- Setting reminders on emails you're not ready to address
- Gorgeous interface
What do you dislike about the product?
- The learning curve. It took me a full week to acclimate to the interface and learn the keyboard shortcuts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fewer missed emails, fewer "flagged" emails that I forget to check. Setting the reminder elimates the need to me to use a separate reminders app.

What do you like best about the product?
speed, focus on the RIGHT emails, great at helping auto-write emails based on outlines ;) still learning but super easy to learn, I know it has more tricks up its sleave ;)
What do you dislike about the product?
NOthing. Love it all the way. You have NO idea how great it is until you use it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
speed, focus on right emails, deleting + unsubscribing (and killing inbox clutter!) ...never was able to get to inbox 0 before.
