The best Gmail client around, if you have the cash for it

  • May 24, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Multi-platform, runs on all devices (through Chrome on Linux), very intuitive and easy to install. I have this as the default mail client and use it multiple times a day. It integrates well with Google and Zoom (haven't tried on M365, but would like to in my next role that uses that). Split inboxes are great for not losing what's most important, like odd calendar invites that Gmail doesn't always pickup. This is great for people who have email heavy workloads, the muscle memory and speed possible here will save you hours. Responsive team who generally want your feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only the cost, this sucker is expensive. I have a couple month free trial to start, but $30/mo is steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blazing fast speed to move between messages, workflows, and triage. It helps me by allowing me to prioritize what's important and not miss those things. Keyboard-driven design (did I mention SPEED) allow you to triage any mess and keep it tidy. Easy to declare bankrupcy if it's too bad to get you to manageable. Pallete system is great.

Has taken the pain out of email

  • May 23, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
My email has been a source of anxiety and frustration for the past couple of years, as I have grown my business. SuperHuman allows me to get through all of the BS much faster and gives me tools to more easily get rid of some of the garbage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The minimalistic interface takes some time to get used to. Learning the shortcuts in the desktop version takes some time, but I think it will be rewarded with efficiency. I would like an actual desktop app vs. having to go through a browser...unless that causes it to slow down. It just takes getting used to launching a browser vs. launching Outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superhuman reduced the amount of time I spend looking at unimportant email.

Extremely fast. Good shortcuts. Makes checking email enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The settings are convoluted. There's no clear billing page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Writing emails was slow and tedious. Superhuman makes it faster.

Massive time saver for someone who gets email anxiety

  • May 22, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This short key funcationality and "reminders" allow me to set specific times during the day to review my emails while keeping my inbox at zero for nearly 80% of my day. Before Superhuman I had my email inbox open for 99% of my day and got anxiety on feeling the need to respond to emails that required follow up. No longer bnow that i'm using Superhuman.
What do you dislike about the product?
I truly at this moment have nothing to dislike about the product. I would say there is a learning curve of 2-3 days of use - but the learning curve is worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You get an email - you dont want to respond to it immediately, but you dont want to let it sit in your inbox, superhuman has a solution for that. That is one of the many features I'm finding helpful and a big time saver.

    Consulting

Fast, minimalist, email processing tool

  • May 21, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easily I can process my inbox without taking my hands off the keyboard. I can decide to respond to something immediately, or if not, decide when is bets. I love how easy it is to make google calendar invites from emails. Simple things like "invite everyone on this thread" will compound in time savings. Installation was a a breeze. And even now I don't feel locked into it -- I still pop back into gmail proper to do a few things here and there. But it's increasingly rare. It's become my daily go to for email.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve. I definitely marked a few emails as done early on that shouldn't have been, and then had to go digging for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing email. Getting to inbox zero is much much easier with superhuman.

If I had to pick anything it would be its search feature - I would love it to be more intuative
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to not miss any emails and efficiently unsubscribe from all newsletters that clutter my inbox. I reach inbox zero daily in have the time.

Superhuman is best email experience and one of the best products I have ever used.

  • May 20, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Superhuman is opinionated about what can be done with an email and believes that every email should result in a decision. Meaning, every email should be trashed, completed, or set aside for the future, or in some cases, left in the inbox because it is something to do. My inbox is now the best version of an "To do" list that it has ever been.

- Making those decisions is incredibly easy and intuitive with keyboard shortcuts.

- They allow you to make decisions at every level. Meaning, you can make a decision from your email list (where you see sender and first line). Or you can go through each email and make decisions. Either way, you can do it with your hands on the keyboard to go up or down and to make the decision you need to make.

- Tab and Enter are pretty much intuitively the things you would think you want to do next.

- Superhuman control is very good. Search, setting reminders, etc. I'm pretty blown away by that.

- I let Superhuman 'train me' and I felt like I was decent in 5 minutes, more productive in 10, and they continue to show and remind me what I can do without being in the way. They are slowly turning me into a better user and showing me new features while I already feel extremely productive and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app took me longer to get used to, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. Honestly, I use email less on my phone because I am so much more efficient at my computer. I used to use it much more on my phone because of how cluttered my inbox was and it was just always something I was workingon cleaning up, but that is not the case anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My inbox was cluttered and I was often distracted by it. Superhuman gives me tools to keep my inbox from distracting my day, and instead focuses my day.

    Education Management

Cuts Stress in Half

  • May 17, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly triage and organize emails so that they are out of my inbox but scheduled to come back at just the right time. The auto email sorter that puts important emails in a main inbox and less urgent ones in another.
What do you dislike about the product?
No ability to put drafts in my labeled folders to get them out of my important inbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to quickly set reminders for emails I am sending to clients ensures that I do not let opportunities slip through the cracks.

    Alex G.

The fastest email client I've ever used

  • May 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding process is well thought-out and seamlessly introduces you to a number of quick, essential shortcut keys. The ability for Superhuman AI to understand the context of your emails and do helpful things like pull up your calendar proactively when trying to schedule a meeting is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some UX oddities that take some time to get used to. You use the Superhuman Command box/prompt for a lot of things and it takes acclimation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Three major problems. 1) Knowing what is and isn't important in my email. 2) Treating my email as a task list, ensuring I don't miss important action items, and 3) Solcing how long it takes to work through my emails.
