Simplicity
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of function and data-frame gave you big insight of your data

it can be very difficult to use without proper training before hand

User-friendly interface and most of the tasks are done by clicking.

What do you dislike about the product?
Must learn SPSS toolbar menus to use or by getting some training workshop (online or F2F).
Need to have some basic concepts of statistics. i.e. Regression, Inferential Statistics, Descriptive statistics.

SPSS provides good statistical analysis but it is a bit harder to use.

It can import data from other database like Excel
What do you dislike about the product?
Its userinterface is complicated as compared to other softwares like Eviews

I have been using SPSS for data analysis of sample data for business related research.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
IBMM SPSS provides good statistical support for research purposes but its user interface is a bit complicated. Therefore, if you understood the user interface properly you will enjoy using it.

What do you like best about the product?
It's data handeling capabilities, drag and drop menu along with the execution through syntaxes, easy to understand syntaxes
What do you dislike about the product?
It's output are not visibly appealing and need extra efforts to make it client ready

I am executing data manipulation and analysis queries, running statistics analysis

It's good to have for data analysis but not good for exporting analysis in visibly appealing formats. It's easy to use and fast thus must have tool to run statistical analysis

What do you like best about the product?
Currently use SPSS software for statistical analysis and extremely happy how it's easy to import and export data. The key benefit is a great variety of analytical technics and on-line support. In summary, It is very useful software especially for academics and students.

Need to learn how to use, expensive license.

Very helpful for different types of analyses (regressions, ANOVA, correlations)

SPSS for Healthcare Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
SPSS allows us to import and analyze large data sets that other programs like Excel can't handle. Claims data for healthcare in particular can be in the millions for show periods of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
SPSS could be more end user friendly. It can be difficult to find the tools you need because of how robust it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this program to analyze trends in healthcare claims. It gives us a lot of flexibility with the large data it can process and manipulate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend finding some training courses for using SPSS because it has a lot of tools and to get the most out of it, you should be aware of what the tool is capable of.

Availability of toolbars for choosing analytical tools or using syntax, though some analyses can only be completed using syntax.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not highly customizable, frequent updates to new software versions with few substantial changes between the versions

Running basic and more complex analyses, screening and cleaning small and large datasets.
Straight forward analysis helper
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use, straight forward features, that have logical names, and make sense.
What do you dislike about the product?
While most features can be found (by a novice) just by following common sense, there are still features that are well hidden or nested deep inside some menus.

Various statistical analysis, data grids, more intense features than Excel offers
It's a good statistics tools, you can use script as well as toolsfe om menu

Reusable script make life easy, you can have vn script as well.
