Good to data research
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, the tools are practical and the graphics and tables are very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should be possible to add automatic calculations and commands, not just when the table is already filled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Academic research, and I can say that's the most practical tool I could ever use!

What do you like best about the product?
Simple functions to conduct statistical analysis. Easy to use and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I never had any issues with the product itself. I've had issues with my own data, but that's pretty much it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anyone can learn this software, it has simple functions to conduct statistical analysis. Easy to use and manage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can upload data collection or even enter the data. Never had any issues. Simple to use and to learn.

What do you like best about the product?
Spss is a great introduction to data management and statistics, easy to use GUI and intuitive tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to other programs there is a relative lack of online support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statistics and cross tabulations, very easy to perform.

What do you like best about the product?
SPSS allows us to save all our data analysis and manipulation instructions such that it is easy to understand the steps involved in future events like six to seven months later. It is also capable of tackling quite complex functions and so far has been able to handle all the kinds of analysis we have needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting customer support can be quite a tedious process especially when upgrading to a new version. it can also have quite a difficult user interface especially to people who are using it for the first time and do not have an experience of data analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use SPSS in our company to analyze raw data collected from field surveys. In our department especially, we use it to handle complex statistical analysis problems through descriptive measures such as mean mode and median. We then use the analyzed results in our reports and presentations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
SPSS is the best software for dealing with raw data apart from collection and once the user interface is understood it becomes quite a useful and user friendly data analysis tool.

I like how easy to use this software is. It also also very helpful that excel can be inputted into SPSS software

Sometimes not very easy to use especially when coming from another format

Just doing a lot of Statistics. Benefits include just quick stats computations
Easy to use and the updated version is much faster

I like that the updated version is much faster as I have been using this for 3 years and it just keeps getting better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes it saves your files to the wrong place and there seems to be occasional bugs in the program.

I am doing psychological research analysis with SPSS and I have seen that it takes the stress out from having to do the work by hand.

The cost is high but it is worth it.
Simple and Accessible
What do you like best about the product?
SPSS offers broad coverage of statistical analysis and testing. The pull down menus are intuitively organized, and you don't need to know how to code to use the program
What do you dislike about the product?
The graphics are less polished than other statistical software programs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It works great for easy to advanced statistical analysis. Statistical analysis for advanced programmers can be performed quicker in other software like Stata, R and Python.

What do you like best about the product?
What i like about IBM SPSS Statistics is that it can handle and type of statistical data and in large volume. It doesn't matter the characteristics of your data, once you feed the data for manipulation you will get a detailed report. The answers also are collect and easy to draw conclusion from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Statistics knowledge is needed before you can get any tangible results from IBM SPSS Statistics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using the IBM SPSS Statistics to handle all the statistical analysis problems that arises during the research. With IBM SPSS Statistics we are able to find time series, analysis of ANOVA,and find basic statistical data characteristics like mean, regression among others.

IBM SPSS Statistics is excellent tool that every research firm should utilize. It helps to manipulate collected statistical data and collect inference.

What do you like best about the product?
Despite being a fairly ugly application, spss is very functional. The toolbar basically gives you the ability to run any statistical model.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not something I dislike, but a downside is that someone who is not familiar with statistics will struggle with spss, and will not be able to achieve 99% of its use. I suppose this is to be expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am taking in large data sets, and formulating storylines based on what trends I see in the data after running frequencies, crosstabs, and other more advanced functions.

What do you like best about the product?
As a user, I am able to copy and compare datasets with ease. the software also enables me to identify duplicates and unusual cases that may arise during data cleaning. I am able to clean data with ease by selecting specific cases and copying data from outside sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
All data processes are not automated. It requires physical presence for analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to analyze data for the company I work for. This has really helped in data-driven decision making processes which have greatly improved our services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend the use of IBM SPSS Statistics to other users because it makes data related services easy.
