Review for IBM SPSS
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it isn’t too difficult to get the program downloaded on the computer
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it is extremely slow, crashes often and seems old
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for research statistics in psychology, and I’ve come to realize that it is easy to use after getting the hang of it
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would only recommend it if you are tech savvy and need it to analyze statistical results

Analyzing data is easy and fast, merging files is seamless, and overall it is user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot do complex modeling (like structural equation modeling or trajectory analyses).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No current problems. Benefits are that I can do almost anything I need with this program.

Use online tutorials to help with new analyses!

User friendly, intuitive. Complete. Simple.

Definition of variables is complicated. The explanation needs more illustration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualization. One image is worth one thousand words. I sell a production monitorrng system that registers downtime, SPSS's graph power avoids the use of large reports. Every time I need to plot a graph with R I have to check the scripts saved in a file. Soetimes I do not even remeber where I saved the file or its name. Last night, I worked on a report and ploting the graph with SPSS was straightforward.

Output tables are really easy to read and aesthetically pleasing compared to other statistics programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program will occasionally crash on my Mac.

SPSS makes analyzing and visualizing data incredibly efficient. There is a point and click interface for editing the look of charts and graphs, which allows them to be quickly customizable.
Consistent, reliable, accurate. It's perfect.
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many features of SPSS, there's no way you can even use them all. So it certainly has the ability to do anything I need. I love that I can use syntax to make processing and/or creating data files consistent and accurate. It's also great that it is so widely used throughout the research industries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be slow to open and/or process data. However, that might be a function of my computer rather than the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can process data consistently, accurately, and extremely efficiently. Every time there's more data, SPSS makes it extremely easy to produce results in the same format wave-after-wave.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn to use the syntax windows rather than the menus. You can save syntax files and run them much faster than clicking through menus. I think you can also do more via syntax.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM SPSS is a software dedicated to the analysis of statistical data contained in databases, and this does because it has many tools for processing statistical data applied in most cases, for the social sciences. I use this software a lot in my work since it allows me to analyze the databases applying advanced statistical formulas and methods, allowing me to have much deeper conclusions of my investigations. Probabilities, percentiles, analysis of databases, elaboration of complex graphics, translation and organization of databases, are one of the tools that I use the most. Another of the great benefits that IBM SPSS offers me is that I can analyze large volumes of data in a matter of minutes, making the product of my work very good and in short time, improving my business productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the most important limitations that this software has is that, as it is a software for professional use, it is quite complicated to learn to handle it fully, using each of its tools at the right time to achieve the desired results. The practice in the use of this software is mitigating this weakness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software is the one that has made the difference between being an average worker, and a quality worker since IBM SPSS, offers me many statistical tools that allow me to deepen in the elaboration of my research works, presenting very complete products and nourished of data and conclusions. I can assure you that by using this software to complete my research, I have been able to give great contributions to the growth of the company where I work.

The use of this software in your work will make you get rid of the rest of the average workers, since IBM SPSS has so many options for data management, which will allow you to have more variables and elements necessary to have more precise conclusions and recommendations, loaded with positive elements for the growth of your company.

I like how IBM SPSS Statistics integrates all the complex statistical analysis processes ( both Descriptive and Inferential Statistics) into one tool and you just need to upload the data from a survey and IBM SPSS Statistics will do the rest of the work.

It is somehow difficult to comprehend how to use it at the beginning since it consists of several integrated solutions to different problems and finding the right solution can prove difficult.

I use IBM SPSS Statistics to solves several statistical analysis in Khetias Supermarket like determining the number of customer in a given month.

SPSS is an essential tool for statistical Operations. It is extremely helpful for psychological Experiments.

SPSS is lacking an easy to use Interface. It is a Software that requires so much study to understand it and just a little error in the Script can change your results.

When conducting experiments, especially computer experiments, SPSS has been an essential part of gaining insights and results into the statistical relevance. The visualization tools are great to see certain results and differences in groups.

If you don’t want to take classes to learn how to use SPSS I strongly recommend watching a lot of YouTube videos and reading threats about road blocks you might run into.

I like IBM SPSS Statistics because it provides an integrated environment where complex statistical data analysis such as correlation, regression, descriptive statistics and much more can be done. All that I need is to export data collected from a survey to SPSS for detailed analysis.

The disadvantage with IBM SPSS Statistics is that it is somehow difficult to use at first.
