Not much you can't do!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how user friendly SPSS is - you don't have to know how to code, though learning their syntax is very helpful and you can do pretty much any analysis with the syntax!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how sometimes it gets overwhelmed and quits on me, especially if I hadn't saved my work in a few minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am spending less times creating cross tabs for survey data. I could do a lot in Excel but it would take much longer and I could not go into as much depth.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Save your work! Otherwise, very user friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
The easy of use especially for the cluster analysis things are pretty straightforward and the results are easy to interpret

Some of the functions are hard to find and the databases are not always compatible with other software we use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly data analysis: solved multiple parameyer data issues with the built in 2 step cluster analysis

What do you like best about the product?
The most important feature of SPSS is that it is very easy to use and covers a wide variety of statistical analysis. Even if you do not know how to perform a certain function, you can easily search in Youtube and find a good tutorial on that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to other statistical analysis softwares, SPSS is a little bit limited in terms of analysis tools that it provides. Moreover, some people have questioned the reliability of some methods that SPSS uses in analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I always use SPSS for simple statistical analysis such as regression, reliability analysis, and exploratory factor analysis.
Effective software when you know what you're doing
What do you like best about the product?
Most menu tasks are intuitive and the results are always quick. The capabilities are endless and data input is simple to complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to SPSS is that it will spit out results even if you input the data incorrectly. Yes, there are many tutorials online, but if SPSS had built in advice along the way, it'd be extremely helpful.

Ability to save syntax and output to share with others.

I love all the different kinds of tests you can do with the software, from T-tests, to correlations to regressions and anova's there are just so many options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that it does not allow me to use it on my laptop, I can only open the documents where the software is downloaded, making it harder to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has many business benefits such as allowing one to organize and analyze their data in order to review the results.

If looking for ways to analyze data definitely buy this.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM SPSS is software that has accompanied me during my student and work training. Thanks to this software I can elaborate and organize large data bases of the documentation of our clients, being able to establish organizational filters according to the needs and instructions of our bosses.
Another interesting feature is that I can develop from my database quite complete graphics, incorporating variables adjusted to the needs of my work, making the ordering of data a premise.
I can also analyze data set in a single variable, this is ideal at the time of filing since I can establish more specific characteristics, necessary for the review of each of the cases of our clients.

What do you dislike about the product?
A software that is not very easy to use at the beginning. I recommend getting familiar first with the technical language of the software to make the most of it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My work will not be as good and efficient if it were not for the use of this software. Not only my performance but that of my work organization has been greatly benefited by the functions offered by this software. The construction of databases and the analysis of these data for us is routine and necessary, and this software allows us to do this in our work
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It seems that it is a software dedicated only to those companies whose premise is the management of databases, but in fact I recommend it to all companies in general, since the performance offered by this software is unique. Not only can you build databases but cross them with statistical variables and graphs, offering quite complete analyzes, necessary to grow a company.

SPSS Ideal for Interpreting Data
What do you like best about the product?
SPSS has been great for when I am collecting data for clients and research and need to interpret the data. SPSS makes it really easy and efficient to input data and will quickly analyze it for you. It is an ideal program to use if you have a lot of data to analyze or a huge population that you are conducting research for. It will give you accurate results and the output is simple to understand for any user. I really enjoy that you can easily download this on to any computer as it makes it easy to use SPSS if you need to work on analyzing data in the comfort of your own home.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike is that when you select the data to be analyzed it will give you the results and output on a separate page, which can get confusing when going back and forth between data and different outputs. Also, sometimes loading up SPSS to open can take awhile which can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve research problems and use SPSS to analyze the data and make predictions based on the results, and whether our interventions are significant and successful. SPSS makes it a highly positive experience as all the calculations are made through the software and it makes it easy to determine whether an intervention was successful. It does not require you to analyze data by hand, and the algorithms are highly accurate. I have never ran into a problem while analyzing the data with the algorithms. I've realized that this also has saved a lot of time on behalf of my company when making decisions on our research.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would consider making it easier to keep the output of a certain data collection within the same page, as it can get confusing when you have multiple outputs on the same page and then you have to figure out which output is related to which data source.
