SPSS REVIEW
What do you like best about the product?
I like that analyzing data is now so easy or is available to us on one system. It has so many functions and can perform complex algorithms all in one place. Saved me a lot of time, also like how we can code different functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really hate how bland the system looks. It looks very outdated even though it works really well. I think something could be done about that.
Some statistical tools should offer options for changes, for instance, homogeneity of variance is typically assumed for analytical tests, however, it would make more sense if the option for actually testing violations were offered.

A lot of research-oriented Stuff. SPSS is our first priority when it comes to data analysis. We like it

Make it more fun looking! Or not so bland even and add customization tools.
Fantastic tools with difficult functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Personallly, in everyday work, I have found wide array of available statistical analysis available to be especially helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program can be rather difficult to load at times and can often crash during use and or lag to the point of needing to restart SPSS.

I primarily use this in research to determine the statical reliability and reach of data.

Please make your software slightly more user friendly for those we train to use it with no previous experience.

Make it more available to students.
SPSS-- yes, the program you needed for Stats class.
What do you like best about the product?
The program itself is very unique. In comparison to other statistics based modules, it has an easier integration and simple outlook.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is easy for students to get bored (which is expected, this is math we are speaking of after all). In addition, not all students are comfortable with the mechanics of SPSS. Visual instructions are recommended as text instructions are easy to misunderstand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management and paper waste-- using the program to create your models and statistical data is faster than writing it on paper. In addition, it is neater and saves paper.

statistics it is the best product, it is easy, reduce time to execute statistical process, helps to support statistical decission and help to take best results in a short period.

confuse our clients with other tools like cognos, and spss have the best results

work with confidence, helps to take the information and take decissions inmediatly.

more promotion, more marketing events, webinar, the heart of problems resolve with statisticals decission and spss statistics have the answer in a minor time

What do you like best about the product?
I like how specific the data/results were after running regressions and correlations. The null was simple to read to make accurate follow up decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve and training period was my biggest dislike. For first time users, it can be complex if one is not properly trained to use the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can make better decisions based on facts from the data and no longer take guesses on what we think the general populations thinks/feels. Better targeting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are a lot of helpful videos to watch on the internet to help training and implementation run smoothly when there is lack of training staff.

SPSS has evolved from an almost powerful but ugly platform to a powerful and good looking software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe you can do something with graphics, it would be nice if they looks like Cognos reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SPSS is for us our main processing engine. We do a lot of surveys and the software brigs us flexibility and all the statistics power we need to deliver the best reports to our clients.

Interface is not good but we didn’t get to implement it

It is easy to learn, use and teach. It helps maintaining a very descriptive dataset of all the variables.

It is payable to install in all the computers. As a student, sometimes it becomes tough to access SPSS as it is not even available in the trial version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used it for research data collection purposes! It worked great and all the data was sorted very well.

Decrease cost
Definitely the standard for data analysis and management
