Friendly-user interface for basic statistics
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great software for statistics if you want to perform some basic analysis. The interface is thought to amateur or proffesionals who do not have a strong theorical background in statistics.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you want to perform some more advance analysis, it is limited, and it is difficult to obtain help or guidance when you want to add some lines to customize the scripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For almost every statistical analysis in a very large range of fields, from business to investigation.
Simple GUI and well-organized instructions with learning services
What do you like best about the product?
SPSS is easy to start statistical analyses by just using a simple GUI interface. At the installation of software, there are many online resources for help and offline lerning services if your budgets allow. SPSS is suitable for the person who is not familiar with machine languages as well as detailed statistics.
What do you dislike about the product?
SPSS statistics doesn't have a kind of templates to perform routine analyses. Beginners like me may be sometimes confused with reminding a series of analyses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a research scientist in food industry, and analyze the research data of clinical trials and animal studies. The statistical methods used are dependent on the research field, but I have to run the analyses in a way of trial and error. Without learning specific languages, SPSS can easily handle the statistical analysis in accordance with scientific papers.

Trial software would be helpful to consider SPSS.

It has a graphical user interface which allows a new user to quickly make some headway.
What do you dislike about the product?
The program is Inflexible and slow, particularly in comparison to other statistical software packages (including R, which is free).

SPSS is a statistical software that may allow businesses to analyze trends over time. This has broad applicability. Furthermore, statistical tests may be applied that provide more information than a simple line graph.

If you are willing to learn how to code, I would recommend using R, Stata, or SAS for data analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy use for most statistical analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little I dislike about this software, except for the out of pocket cost. It is prohibitively expensive if you are not part of a larger institution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For research, it is essential to have a software life SPSS as it makes the analysis of large datasets easy and seamless. It provides outputs that are standardized and easy for others to understand.

I would use this software if you can afford it.

Easy to use software. It as a great online plat form that help you learn different statistics. There is so many options and a lot of statistics that are easy to run

Earlier this year I had a problem with my subscription and SPSS wasn't working correctly but i was able to get in conact with customer service. They were helpful but it took a long time to get everything working correctly which was frustrating

I do market research so it is imparative to my business other wise would be have to do the statics by hand or only do very basic statics

DO it. There is so much online support that if you have any questions you can get them right away. Its awesome. You will learn a lot about statistics

SPSS offers is easy to use. Novice users who are not syntax savvy can use this product.
What do you dislike about the product?
SPSS does not options to run sophisticated analyses, such as CFA, multilevel mediation, latent profile analysis, etc.

I use SPSS to analyze research data. It’s a quick and easy way to run simple analyses like desxriptives, correlations, reliabilities, etc.

If you are new to statistics, this is a great product, although a bit expensive.

The software is very easy to work with and carry out statistical operations. All the calculations are one click away.

The software can be a little tricky when recoding as once you have recoded, you can't change the values and labels.

The SPSS Statistics has allowed me to do my research work very efficiently and effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
allows you to analyze large sets of otherwise opaque qualitative data with great accuracy relatively easily
What do you dislike about the product?
not necessarily intuitive if you have learned other programs first and the reports generated are not terribly sophisticated but it's the best option out there for qualitative data analysis

analyzing qualitative data for classes

Consider making this standard practice for all students doing qualitative research to learn by building relationships with undergraduate as well as graduate schools
Easy to use for complex stats
What do you like best about the product?
Pretty much any statistical test I use (biostatistics) on a daily basis can be run through SPSS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not intuitive and user interface can be improved.

Our statistical analyses are run through this software. It is quick and can handle large databases.
