Robust Statistical Software
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to save and reuse syntax files. I also like using the database query function.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of the menus are arranged intuitively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use SPSS Statistics to analyze data and provide summary statistics to end users.
Great for dissertation research
What do you like best about the product?
This software is an industry standard for quantitative research.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely takes quite a while to learn how to use professionally. I recommend a MOOC or college course.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advanced statistics course, doctoral research, and institutional effectiveness.
SPSS- Simple yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
SPSS is not something like other software like R or SAS, you can easily drag and drop with mouse and play.
What do you dislike about the product?
SPSS would allow you to go ahead and do non-standard tests, which are irrelevant - R would stop you, SAS would stop you, but SPSS does not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a researcher, it is more of a software for T-test analysis, power calculations etc.
Easy to use analytical package
What do you like best about the product?
The output customization with charts and graphs for visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exported results to MS Word are sometimes difficult for visualization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statistical analysis of data related to economy, business returns, etc. The ease of use and variety of statistical formulas as pre-selected tools saves time in research.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The entry level statistical analysis tool for wide variety of research areas. I have used it for economics and financial data analysis. It is better than basic spreadsheet functionality and is not as good as some of the specialized financial analysis tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Ibm spss is the best avaialable tool for working on data to get more robust predictions

Ibm spss is bit costlier then other available tool in market

Getting prediction on sales done on wide varity of products accross regions

zoom is one of the best and simplest conference programs to use, hands down. I'd recommend to anyone and everyone

Great and Reliable Statistical Software
What do you like best about the product?
Love how easy to use SPSS is, and appreciate the intuitive nature of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of features for specific parametric tests that I would like to see included here that are statistically possible, but just not available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to really keep my project data organized and I am slowly learning more and more tools to aid in data analysis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say you should definitely find yourself a good how-to guide that simply explains the basics of the software and be sure you familiarize yourself with beginner statistical tests and analysis methods in advance.
Simple Statistics
What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use and has options for very easy point and click procedures. The visual of the data itself is clean and is easy to manipulate and code. SPSS allows you to run a lot of statistical procedures and is very easy to use and learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some limitation on the types of statistical functions that the software provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to run complex statistical procedures in a very easy point and click way. I can also use syntax or quicker data processing. SPSS facilitates my research.

Easy to use and easy to learn.
SPSS is a great research and analysis software
What do you like best about the product?
SPSS provides all basic and advanced features for regression, moderation, mediation. SPSS does a very good job at descriptive statistics as well as in preparing the charts. This is extremely helpful for preparing both academic analysis and preparing results for industry reports. I like SPSS a lot for this reason. However, SPSS is not too helpful with advanced modeling or statistical analysis. For this reason, I end up using Mplus, AMOS and other softwares
What do you dislike about the product?
SPSS is currently unable to provide structure equation modeling features. No structural equation modeling features nor does it have mediation or moderation charting features. It also does not have any other modeling features for simulation or agent based modeling. SPSS also does not allow experimental data analysis features. So one has to use other softwares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I conduct research and use SPSS for data analyses for both academic as well as industry reports. I use SPSS on individual level data as well as on org level data. However, I struggle to use SPSS for structural equation models or agent based models. I think SPSS is great when one wants to analyze frequencies, minimum, maximum, other descriptive statistics. The SPSS software is also suitable for usage on collaborative projects since it is quite popular and most of the Universities have access to it for their research and staff members. SPSS is however lacking any advanced features as it does not allow any advanced modeling or statistical analysis. For this reason, I end up using other softwares.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
SPSS needs to make its software better by adding multiple features for advanced data analysis such as structural equation modeling, simulation modeling, agent modeling, experimental data analysis and several others.
