Great Electronic Trial Master File system with constant improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Florence eBinders contains so many useful functionalities that make working with it very easy. I especially like the fact that you can create your eTMF structure within MS Excel and import it into the system. The more recent eLogs feature is also a great addition.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few quality-of-life changes and minor issues within the system that need to be implemented or addressed, but the customer support and communication is really great with Florence, so I know they are working on fixing those issues. Florence is also constantly taking customer feedback into consideration and making improvements that matter to its users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Florence eBinders is a great eTMF solution. It is helping our organization stay current with our regulatory documents. It helps us keep track of document review status with the Monitoring Review module, which is a big help in reducing duplication of effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When considering whether or not to use Florence, you should know what features you are looking for in your eTMF or eISF system and what you need the system to do.

Simplicity and colors. Best platform and ease and fast to download and drag and drop.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. sometimes its kind a hard to log in because kick you out with no activity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documents and communication with third parties to be up to date.

The eBinder is really easy to use and navigate
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe it can be a bit more user-friendly. I dislike having to click on an icon to access options to delete , rename or move files. If these icons are more easily accessible that will be helpful to reduce the number of clicks. Also, it will be helpful to have options to verify actions like "delete" or "move" , for exmaple - "Are you sure you want to delete/move ***** file?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to enjoy real time review of source documents and reduced on-site monitor visits which are typically very time consuming, overall making us more productive.

What do you like best about the product?
With the most recent update, I really like being able to sign back in after I have timed out and land right back into the folder I was working in. The folders are easily accessible through the search feature which also makes it quite efficient when attempting to sort through various folders within the institution. It's great to be able to zip large folders together for offline work, and also great to have a section that shows the history of your downloads so you can keep track of your own audit trail.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how files and folders download in Microsoft Edge. It almost feels like a double download as compared to Chrome where it downloads straight to the correct folder I have allocated. I also dislike that I am unable to copy from the document that I am viewing but instead have to download the file. If it was possible, I think copying capabilities within the Florence platform would help when citing certain documents and remove the process of having to download additional documents just to copy and paste into a different document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This platform allows for all the teams to collaborate more efficiently by allowing access to pertinent files/folders for audit purposes. It also allows us to review/view documents that would otherwise be hard to retrieve due to internal access restrictions on specific department folders. It also allows us to have another safe place to harbour all the necessary documents and have a great audit trail to determine when specific items have been uploaded or updated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The interface is exceptionally easy to use and train on. I had next to no training when accessing Florence for the first time and it was completely hasslefree. Customer Service is prompt, friendly and updates to the platform are quick. The company definitely listens to customer feedback and tries to deliver.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the drag and drop feature to upload files. It makes it really simple to put documents in quickly. It's also really easy to rename or move documents if they are filed incorrectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a while to figure out exactly where everything should be filed since you can't see all the areas unless you click on them to see the subtitles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Florence is used at my research site. It makes it really easy to give access to all our reg documents to people who need to view it offsite.

Its easy to use and its easy to give access to others to view your documents.

Keeps all documents secure and easy to find.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I have to keep logging in if not working in Florence for more than 15 minutes. It should be 30 mins, at minimum.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how this program helps me get items signed off quickly. Sometimes the physicians I interact with are away, and because of Florence, they can still sign off on items I need to submit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything that I dislike about Florence at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before I was hired, I was notified that all orders were signed by hand. Because of Florence, they can be signed electronically. In addition, if there is a delay, I can remind signers without having to place a wedge in their routine.

Flo is very user friendly and does not take long to get used to the portal.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to move files once loaded into the wrong space.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of the many you had to choose from binders, but it is a great way to stay organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Studies including Pfizer. I realized you can definitely stay on task!
So much better than paper!
What do you like best about the product?
Routing documents for signatures electronically.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downloading is a bit cumbersome. I typically have to have a shadow on my desktop when I am uploading documents to the IRB.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find it easy to add people to delegation logs and have them sign FDA paperwork. I find it easy to use.
