Process Street is life changing

What do you like best about the product?
SO MANY THINGS: 1) that you can make one checklist (for hiring, for onboarding, for how to run payroll, etc) for things you do frequently (or even infrequently) and then run the list for separate occasions (each person you hire, for example). 2) you can assign different tasks to different people and give them due dates (and the due dates can be "smart dates" from your original checklist - ie it knows to tell the comms dept to add the person to website on first day). 3) super easy to use and learn and add additional (free) functionality, like conditional formatting (some tasks only show up if you are hiring a certain position). 4) you can make some tasks private or hidden, so not everyone who is part of the onboarding process list knows the person's salary, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing they've already made better is an easy place to see everything you need to do across checklists. A nice to have for me would be able to assign to different people within tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've grown A LOT in a short time, so multiple are involved when someone is onboarded. I tried to make a spreadsheet to track what everyone needed to do, and it didn't work. This was exactly what we were looking for.

Now different team members use it to capture standard operating procedures. It's super helpful during this pandemic so if a finance member needs to take time off, someone will know how to run payroll, step by step.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just buy it!

A must-have!

What do you like best about the product?
Probably my favorite thing about Process Street is the ease of use. It's extremely user-friendly and intuitive for someone new to the platform. It doesn't take anytime to understand the platform and quickly start building content. I also really enjoy how it's essentially a checklist with directions (the second part I wasn't expecting) all-in-one! You can easily add additional text for detailed instructions, pictures to help clarify, etc. to any tasks once an employee reaches that task. Another plus for Process Street is how that the platform comes with an extensive amount of pre-build templates that you can easily edit to customize specifically for your organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is minor, but you cannot move multiple templates into a folder at once. Instead, you have to individually move one at a time. Again, this is minor but it would be a nice feature. Other than that, I really have no complaints! I am enjoying this platform more than expected!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving various problems related to responsibilities, process, project management, accountability and organization. For example, we're using Process Street to streamline our onboarding; making sure tasks are assigned to the correct people. We're also using it to improve our SOP process by creating checklists in Process Street that are easier to leverage on-the-job. Personally, my team is using it as a way to stay organized and on the same page for various projects that they are working to roll out. We're also using it as an accountability tool which has been wonderful. Focusing whether or not an employee completed a task, and to what degree of accuracy, can be based solely on data derived from Process Street, taking emotion/opinions out of the conversation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is honestly a must-have for your business! I would recommend coming up with checklists before you even start with Process Street. Uploading checklists into this platform is as easy and copy and paste. There is no heavy lifting, but it would help your company stay ahead of the game by already having checklists built out. Other than that, I just recommend getting Process Street TODAY because you'll notice a difference by tomorrow!

Invaluable resource for problem-solving and business process improvement

What do you like best about the product?
Process Street has countless useful templates that you can easily deploy, or you can create a huge range of custom ones yourself. Then you can run the templates as checklists, working through each specific step with rich options for recording details, setting up an approval process, and so much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love the interface and ease of use of Process Street, and cannot say that I dislike anything about it to be honest. It is an incredibly useful tool and I am only on the free plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used it to create a Pareto Principle template, which really helped me solve some problems I was working on, amongst several other uses so far, including website launch and reseller account setup checklists. The latter two assisted me in ensuring no step was overlooked in these business processes, which was vital to my business.

It is so incredibly easy to use. From the first time I logged in, I understood how to use every feature. Also, the team is incredibly helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Process Street costs way more than comparative products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process Street is the place that our team stores not only our standard operating procedures, but also our business plans.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure those features are what you want. It is expensive, but if the features are valuable to you then it is totally worth it.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are small UX kinks here and there that are not deal breakers, but would improve the overall experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adhering to our key controls and ensuring we are 100% compliant.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
With a tool like this, you can focus on the content itself and not the format or how to deploy your SOP to your users

Do not use this product unless you like deleted data

  • April 08, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The workflow is intuitive and easy; however, the way they manage data is terrible. As a result of our use of Process Street, we have lost mission-critical data due to their bad architecture.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way Process Street handles data is terrible. Do not use this product if the work you do is important and meaningful. They will lose your data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to use Process Street as a way of storing process information. Instead, all of our processes got destroyed because they lost our data.

Adjustable system useful to many industries

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build out processes and especially your own conditional logic functions with no coding or extensive tutorials is a huge draw. The templates are easy to update and rearrange as processes need tweaking. I can train pretty much anyone into this system and have team members all over the world using it to track progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have a simple way to sort your lists by data points from within the system, you really have to export the information via csv to make the data fully sortable. That's something I've been able to work around pretty easily, but it's a function many businesses will be wanting, so be aware you'll need to set up a consistent export process. I wish it had a dark mode since it is up on my screen all day long and all the white gets intense after a while. Finally, the inbox feature is not sortable enough for our purposes, so it tends to get overloaded and we have pretty much had to abandon it, but it would be a good system for a fewer number of task lists (we're managing up to 100 at a time).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it for transaction management of 50+ deals at once. It has helped us keep our tracking far more consistently, and has allowed us to train new team members into our processes more seamlessly. It is also storing our email templates, connects to our file system, and is used to produce some of our data reports.
