Fantastic Cost Visibility Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Finout allows us to run super-detailed reports on our cloud costs. With it, we can have very granular visibility into the costs and impact of our infrastructure. As a DevOps Engineer, I don't have time to review Cost Reports, so Finout saves me time and money.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX is still in development, so while it constantly improves, there is still a learning curve. It can also be challenging to find the relevant metrics and filters needed to generate the proper report or breakdown.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost visibility into our cloud infrastructure and realization of the impact of our cost efforts. This saves us both time and money, and significantly improved how we operate.
Cutting edge FinOps platform for a reasonable price
What do you like best about the product?
Import any cost data into the platform made it very appealing for the Enterprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
RBAC implementation to separate all cost data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finout helps improve visibility into Cloud Costs and enables exportation of the data into a chargeback tool to keep application & business teams accountable for the costs they incur. This allows us to compare their TCO against the ROI they provide.
Young, but ambitious FinOps platform for you
What do you like best about the product?
It has everything we needed and just works;
It's not trying to cover many things, instead focusing on what's crucial;
Integration is very easy;
They are very attentive to their customers;

What do you dislike about the product?
RBAC is somewhat basic, which soon will be improved (I hope)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It brings visibility into costs spread across multiple cost centers, e.g. AWS, GCP and Kubernetes. We are now able to see how money are spent on EC2 in detail (because it's mostly Kubernetes)
Great product to understand and optimize cloud costs.

Need to wait 2-3 days between applying changes and seeing the effect in Finout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud costs are big and in these times they need to be optimized, this tool helps us make the difficult decisions on where to spend our time and money optimizing.
Finout has been extremely helpful with cost management!
What do you like best about the product?
While the market is filled with legacy products such as CloudHealth & Cloudabillity or optimization tools such as Zesty & Spot, no tool supports a company's cloud infrastructure and gives them the ability to create a business unit such as cost per customer, feature, or segment, all on one platform. Finout's platform can also actively help reduce infrastructure costs from day one with no extra charge using a cost optimization layer called CostGuard.
Finout's ability to give any user-customizable dashboards and reporting systems means that Finance, Sales, IT, DevOps, and C-level all can see exactly what they need in seconds without bothering DevOps teams. Additional benefits are the fact that the platform is very easy to use without having to change any code or configuration settings.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. It's amazing for what they offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Today, nearly every organization runs its applications and systems in the cloud. This helps them in avoiding to have to buy physical infrastructure and just use resources that are available in the cloud. This is a good practice as the infrastructure can be scaled in just a few clicks or the entire scaling process can be automated as well.
This introduces its own set of challenges as many times, you might be spending money on resources that are not being utilized by your application. This is what we call invisible costs. You are paying for it, but no one knows what are you paying for.
Finout’s cloud cost management platform combines all invoices into one Mega-bill, enabling you to see every cloud service you are paying for in one single bill. It combines infrastructure services from cloud providers, data warehouses, and CDNs including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Datadog, Kubernetes, and Snowflake as well as middleware such as Stripe, Twilio, and AuthO.
