A Life Hack for Support Teams and Hardware Management
What do you like best about the product?
This has truly been a game-changer for support teams! I really appreciate that we can completely hand over hardware collection and lifecycle replacements to Firstbase.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the platform would revise its pricing model. Currently, it charges based on tiers of hundreds of active users, but I would much rather see a per-seat pricing structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Firstbase assists us in distributing and collecting hardware from employees located in countries where we lack a physical presence. They also manage end-of-life devices, which is extremely helpful. By sourcing our hardware from local suppliers, Firstbase helps us save on ITS support man-hours and reduces import tax expenses.
Expert Support and Seamless Logistics Operations
What do you like best about the product?
Firstbase provides my team with the expertise and tools we need, making our logistics operations feel nearly seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, they do not have a presence in every country where our offshore contractors operate; however, they are adding new regions/countries all time it seems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Firstbase has enabled my team to scale while reducing the need for additional full-time staff. Their customer support stands out for being both highly responsive and genuinely attentive to our company's specific needs. It often feels as though we have an extra team member on hand, ready to assist us in making sure our internal customers receive the right hardware promptly and efficiently.
Intuitive Setup and Effortless Navigation
What do you like best about the product?
Their setup process is super quick, and I find the way their OU is organized to be very intuitive. Everything feels straightforward and easy to navigate. They have EXELENT comunication and support. And we use them daily
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to comment on. I don't have any complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We haven't encountered any problems, and they consistently look for opportunities to add new features.
Flexible Solutions and Fast Onboarding Support
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility in arriving at global solutions for our IT Sourcing needs. We have a unique billing structure and FirstBase has helped us along the way to ensure our needs are met.
Quick actions once we request inventory and shipments needed for new hires.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Globally sourcing our new hire equipment needs. Also, great tracking of the units as well.
Effortless Onboarding and Stellar Service
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the stability and quick service that Firstbase offers. Our Firstbase team members are very polite and quick to help out with all of our needs and issues. Additionally, I find the initial setup of Firstbase to be very easy.

I use Firstbase for asset management. It solves the problem of onboarding and offboarding quickly and efficiently by managing logistics and reaching out to end users.
Efficient Onboarding, Needs Faster Returns
What do you like best about the product?
We use Firstbase for onboarding and offboarding company computers, and it really takes away a lot of the stress of purchasing, setting up, maintaining, repairing, and shipping laptops. They are efficient and thorough and follow up with several status communications. If a return is submitted, they reach out to the user to confirm address and machine details and keep us and the user informed of the status.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the return process can take longer than necessary. It would be better if they shipped out return boxes the same day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Firstbase to manage onboarding and offboarding of company computers, reducing stress from purchasing, setting up, and maintaining devices. They efficiently handle inventory management with thorough follow-ups, which keeps us informed and organized.
Global IT Asset Management That Saves Time for Remote Teams
What do you like best about the product?
With a Global presence for our remote workers, onboarding/offboarding in IT Asset management and logistics has saved us a significant amount of time and money. End users are receiving the laptops on time. The CSM and Support teams are awesome partners, offering responsiveness, respect, and thoughtfulness to help our company scale even faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike, but feedback is to have an automated email sent to remind users who have not selected a laptop before their start date. It would be helpful to have a detailed device filter vs labels when searching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves shipping/packaging/order time and money for a mid-size company with Remote workers around the globe. Previously, we only shipped equipment from the US; however, we can now ship equipment anywhere in the world.
Exceptional Asset Management and Outstanding Support
What do you like best about the product?
Firstbase has truly addressed all of our ongoing asset management concerns. From onboarding and offboarding to asset delivery, inventory tracking, expectation management, and customer support, they have consistently exceeded our expectations. The platform itself feels fresh and modern, with continual improvements that keep it up to date. Customer support is both prompt and thorough. Daniel, Chris, and now Matt have all been outstanding in equipping us with the necessary tools, responding to our questions, and clearly communicating any limitations we might encounter.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a global company, we would appreciate it if Firstbase could expand its coverage to more countries, since we have employees located in various regions. Because some countries are not currently supported, we have occasionally had to find alternative solutions, such as making local purchases or, in some cases, asking new hires to handle these arrangements themselves. While this situation does not arise often, it has occurred on a few occasions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Firstbase has addressed our challenge of consolidating asset management. Previously, we worked with multiple vendors depending on the location—domestic, international, or specific countries—but now Firstbase handles all of these needs, allowing us to have just one point of contact. Additionally, their API controls give us better visibility into asset tracking and delivery timelines, making it much easier to share this information with our stakeholders.
Global Asset Management from Start to Finish!
What do you like best about the product?
Firstbase has simplified our global asset management process into one easy to run location. From updating inventory to newer devices, keeping track of lifecycle of old devices, it's all easy to implement. I use it constantly, and is easy to adjust on the fly as things change in a fast paced company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, deliveries and retrievals of devices can take quite a long time to complete in some Geographies. This makes sense to me and is not uncalled for, as I know that some regions of the world are not as developed as other places in terms of delivery infrastructure. This is a slight annoyance to me, but since this stems from the fact that other people handle deliveries and retrievals for us, the pros FAR outweigh the cons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Managing global IT assets. Storage, lifecycle, etc.
2. Delivery / retrieval of assets to / from employees.
3. Easing admin upkeep from my end, as I am administering a platform and not the IT assets themselves.

Reliable Partners You Can Trust
What do you like best about the product?
They're reliable partners and can be counted on to do the right thing if something does go wrong.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price can be a little high for hardware and shipping in some countries (Canada, in our case). Even after exchange from USD to CAD the pricing can be quite high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a fully remote company - there's no central office for our IT team to work out of or a company warehouse (closet) to manage our inventory so we needed a partner to manage every part of the physical management of our user hardware.
Firstbase is IT's first point of contact with every new hire that we bring on and also the last when someone moves on and their hardware is retrieved. Firstbase handles everything from purchasing laptops and peripherals to shipping it to and back from the user with very little hand-holding or micromanagement required on our end as the customer.
Compared to when I took over IT at this company, this is light years ahead - from laptops being shipped from HR's homes to using an old-school VAR who couldn't wrap their heads around a fully WFH environment, to be able to partner with Firstbase has been a fantastic journey. They have assumed 95% of the stress and worry about shipping, inventory, and storage for our team. These days it's rare to work with a vendor who is not dedicated to the "enshittification" of their core service - and Firstbase is bucking the trend; their service is *continually* improving in ways which IT admins want and need.
