Custom in-app inbox, personalised feed and email notifications

  • August 21, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I recently integrated SuprSend into our system to build a custom in-app inbox featuring system notifications and a personalized feed for users. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive, especially when compared to other notification systems I've used in the past.

Pros:

Ease of Integration: Setting up both the frontend and backend components was straightforward. Everything worked right out of the box without any major hitches.

Control and Flexibility: The SuprSend dashboard is particularly user-friendly. It allowed our designers and content managers to control and update content independently, which was a huge plus.

Developer Support: The developer documentation provided was clear and comprehensive, making the integration process smooth for our technical team.

Exceptional Customer Support: The SuprSend team was extremely supportive throughout the setup process. They were readily available on their Slack channels to assist with any queries or issues we encountered.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is intuitive to use; I didn't encounter any significant drawbacks during my usage.

Great product from a very responsive team

What do you like best about the product?
The team did an amazing job during the Onboarding process and understood our usecases. During the first demo call, what we saw was a demo tailored for our needs.

After getting setup with an account, we were able to try out the platform in a matter of a few hours. The documentation on their support website was easy to understand and follow along.

When providing feedback on a missing feature that would be a blocker for us, they acknowledged the usecase, committed to a timeline, and delivered on time.

The versioning of the templates, the ease of moving assets between environments, the observability of the notifications (for workflows and for users), are all built cleanly.

And finally, the team does an excellent job answering all Support questions. The limited that I see, there are no unanswered questions and/or unhappy users.

Kudos to the team!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. The team is receptive to feedback and is willing to work with us to understand the gaps in our requirements and their offerings, and to come up with a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a need to capture our User's attention to make sure that they tend to their autonomous system that needs help. At the same time, we want to make sure that the user is not being overwhelmed with notifications. SuprSend manages this for us.

What do you like best about the product?
We are using the in-app inbox to send notifications to our SAAS users. Our developer said the integration with SuprSend was very easy and when he had questions their customer support was very responsive and helpful in clearing up any confusion we had.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real dislikes. I think in the future they may want to think more about the user interface for admins, think about simple tasks that an admin might want to do -like adding a subscriber to a list manually. Their API is super solid and simple. They will need to think about that same concept in the admin interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notify users of our Saas about...

- new features
- new webinars
- new blog posts
- asks for testimonials
- asks for referrals
- asks for feedback

What do you like best about the product?
- We have been using SuprSend for more than 7 months and didn't face any issues as we scaled and started sending more notifications.
- I was working on integrating Suprsend with our backend and was able to complete the integration in just 2 days. The incremental effort to add a new notification is very less.
- It provides lot of features like user notification preferences, throttling, webhooks for email events.
- Both Nikita and Gaurav are very prompt in answering any queries and fixing any issues that we face.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Logging infrastructure can be improved to support more analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use SuprSend to
- send notifications to our customers. We support work management, billing and invoice, proposals in our product. We send our users notifications related to our change
- send notifications to clients of our customers. Our customers use our product to interact with their client - sending proposal, invoices, raising client requests/forms etc.

Powerful abstraction layer for notifications

  • April 19, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that developers just need to call one API and then build notification logic, templates, and configure channels on SuprSend, instead of in code, was much needed abstraction for the mess notifications created in code.
On top of APIs and dashboard, SuprSend also provides embeddable components that we can just drop in our website, and adjust to our designs, and we are good to go.
Documentation is neat, support is really good, and logs are very helpful. Implementation was smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
For now, all of our usecases get solved. We would like to see user segmentation capability, so we can centralize our marketing notifications too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We knew of the challenges notifications become from our first project. So we decided to build on third party form the start. It saves tons of development effort, increases visiblity, accelerates time to market and what not. Will 100% recommend using SuprSend for managing notifications.

Advanced notification system from get go

  • April 19, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Everything you need to build customer-first notifications is provided out-of-the-box. We are able to improve notification experiences with ease.

We use their workflow engine, preferences and notification center.
Platform is easy to integrate and test, and is extremely stable.

Developer documentation and support is top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many concepts (as it is an infra layer). But once you understand them, they all fit in like building blocks, and you can design any complex notification usecase with ease.

SDK for Ruby on Rails is not there, but we ended up consuming their APIs directly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending customer centric notifications was an important part of our product experience. SuprSend has provided us with multi-channels, templates out of code, batching, preferences, and notification center.
We are leveraging all the capabilities one by one, without having to do development at out end.

Best platform to manage notifications across multiple channels & tenants

  • April 06, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1) Centralize notifications across email, slack, teams, in-app
2) Stable & reliable product that works
3) Quick support from the team
What do you dislike about the product?
They currently miss support for notification analytics at tenant level on their dashboard, though we can get it synced to our DB.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a multiple org-user based structure required us to create multiple tenant notifications, and across email, slack, teams, inbox. It is definitely a time-intensive exercise for our devs team. SuprSend saved much of that pain, providing us quick time to market. Product team is now in control of managing notifications. A well designed product that will work for future usecases too.

Seamless notification system

  • April 03, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Template management - Product team owns the templates, Saves dependency on developers.
- Complete visibility into each & every notification, failures, latencies - which was very much needed at our scale
- Better customer experience - Built-in features of channel routing and batching
- Standardization - Across all channels in the messaging & branding
- SuprSend Team - Very customer-oriented team. Consistently delivering features and support on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Failure alerts can be made better
- Webhook as a channel is also missing (though it is upcoming)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest issue was notification management and visibility as we scaled. We were looking to revamp our service and SuprSend ticked all our boxes.
Definitely recommend using them than building & maintaining your own.
