Essential APM tool for any organization
What do you like best about the product?
Help resolve issues quickly with session replay and root cause technology. With new announcements in 2023, the future is even brighter with Dynatrace in the use of data with context.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation, interfaces are sometimes difficult because if you do not know the structure behind the interfaces, it is difficult to know where you are and how to go back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace gives us information on the problem requests and allows us to target the missing component. This allows us to quickly find the causes of the problems compared to before the analysis of the files of logs systems can take hours or days.

Ease of setup and use as well as the dashboards

Fix the filter bars and allow them to go everywhere

It allows us the gain insights into issues and brings the various teams to the table with it providing facts about what is going on

I love the web interface and the convenience to work with the product. In addition, the connection with Github is extremely helpful.

The target selection screen could be clearer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to debug online applications without touching the code and without deploying any changes for breakpoints and logs.

I love the value of the product with the combination of integrate it fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some small bugs that I'm sure Rookout will solve in the future. Such as, breakpoints are pending, but when getting triggered, they are getting active. Multi-process are viewed in the UX as the same pod and I couldn't trigger them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Save tons of time understanding and monitoring your remote server. I'm unfamiliar with any other competitor, and it was the first time I could see a snapshot of the variables in the code, and it was a game changer for me.

The efficiency to debug a problem in a matter of seconds instead of deploying loggers to production. Very Effective.

Login was a bit complicated at first via business user and a bit not intuitive.
It takes some time to get used to the UI, so making it clearer can help.
Exposing all the variables can take time when debugging.

Instead of deploying to production in order to investigate a bug, I can get fast feedback and find the root source of bugs in production.

The only issue is that I am sorry I didn't have it years ago. would have saved my valuable time

When I have a customer issue which I suspect is at a specific place, but I am not sure, I can easily add a breakpoint in that place so I can collect all the info I need instead of adding logs in a lot of places and going through the long deploy process, just to find I missed one place and go the process again
Rookout is an amazing tool, it saved us so much time diagnosing and addressing issues.

The best thing about Rookout is the time it saves us as developers.

I got assisted with anything I had trouble with, and the team even changed the UX when needed, so there is nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving many problems:
* The fact that we can not debug production code. (save the time of reproducing locally)
* The fact that setting up a local environment takes time.
* The need to add logs or metrics in reel time.
* Debugging without stopping at breakpoint.
