It’s a good product

I like the Dashboards and the performance to the application

What do you like best about the product?
Full stack monitoring... easy to find the root problem. Out of the box anomaly detection for applications, services, and infrastructure. Ability to find business context (number of users, systems affected) of a problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of our issues are caused by living on legacy systems and not new cloud infrastructures/best practices. IE, we have hosts with multiple processes owned by different teams. That causes issues with our ability to organize (tag) things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster identification of root cause; driving better MTTR.

Watch the presentations from their Perform conference to see how others are using the tool and to get ideas of what you can do. Leverage their professional services to speed up deployment even more.

Analysis of user actions with infrastructure monitoring, availability and response time. Problem detection and root cause analysis...amazing!

Have a complete implementation plan and enjoy the process of both infrastructure and application monitoring with root cause analysis.

this is a great product and I like everything about it

some of the user interface can be improved, it would be great to have more support for native apps, I would also like to see more AI driven monitoring

consumer facing apps, we have been more proactive about finding issues in production before they appear

start with a program so you can evaluate the success
Awesome installation within a fully secured banking environment
What do you like best about the product?
Security Gateways configuration and automated instrumentation. The product is also setup in our environment for server owners self-service via our Software Center.
What do you dislike about the product?
No support for legacy ITSM systems such as HEAT. No support for customization of e-mail messages to pass instance/problem relevant data. No mechanism to suppress individual infrastructure issues that are irrelevant such as fully utilized swap discs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Relationship mapping, intermittent service failures. The Business is not yet "on board" with Dynatrace because the data exposure API is not yet exposed. We also have numerous outsourced or hosted products now and we are unable to deploy the OneAgent.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely go with this product if you respect your security teams and want to fully realize the benefits of APM.

I like the end to end concept of the one stop mono Trina solution and UEM concept

The difficulty to use and simplify the reporting into business ppl and the extra effort it needs and the limitstion of the web dashboard

Reporting to high level executives and simplifying technical ops performance into relevant information
