What do you like best about the product?
A tool that provides capability of monitoring from infrastruster to performance, from synthetic to RUM. Everything is at one place. Pretty quick to deploy and provides good data and metrics, problem detection etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I. Haven’t seen anything so far that. I dislike, pretty happy with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monitoring PCF environment. It’s monitoring whole PCF environment without needing any other tool.

A complete suite when performance matters

What do you like best about the product?
The Dynatrace’s Dashboard and AppMon are one of the best (maybe THE best) tools ont the market to help my company to monitor and boost our applications. The features in the web dashboard are really helpful and it’s easy to share with executives members, to show them how our web applications health.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s such a powerful tools, it’s hard to know everything. I discover new features regularly and sometimes, they were just here since 2 years and I didn’t know it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly performance issues.
For load campaign, we tried a lot of solution and Dynatrace provided use a full package of features to help us to achieve a good report solutions and troubleshooting
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It’s not always easy to use, but after few days/weeks, you will love it !

Very good product, Easy to install and get running.very competitive licence costs, and 24/7 product support.

Never used in cloud, so ambiguous about the bandwidth usage and availability over there

Best APM Tool on the Market

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is the best APM tool on the market. It tracks all user and bot interactions and stores them so you can later go back and investigate what may have caused an issue or made a user have a bad experience. We have this tool implemented on all of our eCommerce websites, apps, and servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I currently wish there were more features that related to digital marketing. We are constantly trying to verify real sessions and users and since dynatrace already gathers this information, it would be nice to have an out of the box way to bucket valid traffic into proper marketing channels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Performance monitoring on web servers and commerce platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Although the tool may seem expensive, it has proved it's worth time and time again when our site crashes or things go wrong. The business value we have gained from this tool is incredible.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace has allowed us to pinpoint quickly any pain points our clients experience with our applications and respond accordingly. I like how fast we can deep dive into the Pure Path to locate where issues are occurring.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more features from the desktop client included in the web client. The web client is user-friendly and convenient but would be even better if we could do in it what can be done with the desktop client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We experienced immediate results with Dynatrace. During the POC/evaluation of the product, we found the application was making thousands of database queries unnecessarily causing performance issues. With this information, the development team was able to re-architect the app and improve performance.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace monitors 100% of our incoming transactions. It can give access to overall and global indicators (general application health) as well as very specific information (value of a cookie given to a specific user).
It brings light where we were blind: we are able to measure transaction count, response time and errors.
Dynatrace is used by several IT services: production, software engineer, SLA, Customer Relationship, ...
What do you dislike about the product?
The client is not really user friendly. But the efforts made to migrate from a heavy client to a web interface are starting to pay.
The automated exports are quite ugly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Incident diagnostic: Helps finding the tiers that is causing the degradation
Performance optimization: Helps finding the slowest transactions, to optimize them and get great results immediatly.
Trends: Avoid customer insatisfaction by acting before a performance degradation becomes a incident.

Great Tool for Performance Monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is a great tool to debug the issues and performance and easy to integrate with all the performance testing tools and CI/CD tools.
Has very good dashboard list to represent the metrics. Dynatrace saves a lot of time in determining what is the likely cause of an issue/bottleneck an end user maybe experiencing. The PurePath technology helps to trace flow of a transaction in the application and is the basis for top down analysis, which tells how an application or transaction is impacted by the underlying infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Load testing resulted high response time, when track down at granular level using
pure path technology , it pin-points the SQL Query was responsible for taking loner time to execute , when concurrent users in the system . After fixing this issue Performance improved a lot better and able to upgrade.

What do you like best about the product?
dynaTrace sheds a light on live running code which would otherwise be a black box to us. This is tantamount to incident/problem resolution.

Real user monitoring is also very important to us since it shows us what the customer experience is and can highlight issues like certain pieces of static content taking a long time to download

Ability to monitor new business features introduced into the application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
dynaTrace is a 'no-brainer'. Look at the magic quadrants in APM for the past 8-9 years.
