Application end to end monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
I like `Dynatrace mainly the depth of the capabilities it has in application end to end monitoring. Similar APM tools does it but only through code injection on java or .net applications but `Dynatrace has both code level and packet capturing and analyze entire data flow through the wire. it also good in end user experience monitroing
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Dynatrace has packet capture technology still there are certain application like SAP and `Skype for business we are not able to fully monitor like similar java or .net application
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to solve application performance monitoring and issues with SAP and `skype for business
Recommendations to others considering the product:
CAN BE BETTER ALTERNATE FOR SOME LIMITED CAPABILITY APM TOOLS

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace keeps adding monitoring for the things that I am actively doing. Aka containers / serverless/ cloud
What do you dislike about the product?
I can’t stand how they do licensing as memory based.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are so many devices and browsers now days that create a massive problem for production support. A good APM provides facts to solve problems and avoids guesses and opinions.

Why not use Dynatrace to track your problems?

What do you like best about the product?
`I like the ability to see the all the ways to track a problem from end to end, using this has been a much better way to track those issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
`I would like to see that we could get this tracking on the HPUX as well to help in finding some of the issues we are getting on the `unix side as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now using this to track the ability to resolve problems from slow response to just outages from web services that are not responding for us, now we can start to do full stack traces and locate issues from SQL to just some firewall rule that was put into place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a monitoring system that can use AI to learn the system and then start to dream out your system for you, this is very helpful when you have over 65 different systems that are running and the need for up time is so valuable and customers can be effected with some of the outages that might happen.

Complete overview of oneagent for kubernetes
Hands on which included setting up oneagent on node and also as an operator
What do you dislike about the product?
The speaker went through the slides very fast, it should have been bit slower. It was bit difficult to catchup with the speaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to move to oneagent from app on. The new services are in kubernetes environment. This session gave lot of details about the oneagent.

The new product is still being developed so some features we rely on in App Mon are not yet available. That said, the speed at which Dynatrace is developing the product is impressive.

Increasing speed to value. Reducing incident recovery and enhanced business insights.

I would definitely recommend that Dynatrace be considered as part of the evaluation process. Running a comparison with another product provides a useful opportunity to see it in action.
