Great Project Management Platform!
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite feature of the monday.com platform is Live Time Tracking. It accurately captures billable hours. A bonus is the terrific API documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like the lack of built-in apps and the lack of integrations with other software. Softwares like Salesforce would heavily benefit from having an OTB intrergration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some problems that monday.com tackled for our company were helping us remember things and remember delegated tasks. It also allows a remote team to have transparency with who is doing what. Our clients having visibility to our board is a huge help as well/
Its really good and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I really like its easiness as monday.com is the best platform to know about what is going on in the workplace. Most importanlty its adding and copying the data feature is really great and it seems really fine. aprat from these monday.com's adding the document to text and zip folders i like the most becuase it is super easy to use those feature and I can share my files without and interpretation to everyone in the company. Also I like the feature of anyone can see anybody's workspace and can get the idea about who is working on which project basically this is great feature according to me as you get the idea which project is going on and what is the development in that project. Moreover, i really love the searching tool as if you forget on what project you working on as there are many projects going on in the compny but if you want to find out specific project so with the help of searching tool you can easily find out about the project you wokring on which is really great and easy to use according to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no any things that I dislike about monday.com. Because I like monday.com so much therefore I do not have any dislikes about it. As monday.com seems easy to use, faster way and you can share your data with anyone in the company. So I would say monday.com is best app to use these days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have some projects going on, and it is good that on monday.com I can put the deadline of the project, so everything goes well. Therefore, we can solve that issues or project prolems using monday.com and we can assign work to anyone just aading the name of the person so i think it is really great tool to solve and updates about any project problems you have in your company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As i hav mentioned above monday.com is really easy to use and i have used it much better so i can say that this is good tool to use.
Collaborative Project Management and Task Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy to invite others to use, the ability to tag people in the tasks for easy notification. We also like the labels and being able to make/assign custom colours, as well as the dark mode. The fact that it is colourful makes it easier to pick out urgent tasks from non-urgent tasks (and also lends an element of fun to the board).
It is more user friendly than some of the competing platforms as well - I don't have to give super in depth training when inviting someone new to the board.

What do you dislike about the product?
Display responsiveness is a little bit lacking - the width of the actual board is fine, but if you have more than 10 columns the scrolling button at the bottom of the window doesn't move ALL the columns - the first column is frozen and the others move, which makes it a bit confusing to use.
It would be nice to be able to do a "Select all" on notifications to delete or mark as read. If you come back from leave and have dozens and dozens of notifications, having to individually click each notification to mark as read or to delete is very tiresome and can take up an unnecessary amount of time, especially if you're trying to catch up on everything you missed out on while gone!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve tracking multiple projects with multiple paths and tasks, as well as bug tracking, feature requests, problem solving and testing. The fact that it is very collaborative is highly useful to us - it's almost like being in a meeting without actually BEING in a meeting.
We don't have to send multiple emails or pore through long mail trails to find out who has done what for a particular task - it's all right there on the board!

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really. Might be issues around sharing confidential info with SaaS but that's always the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developers use GitHub issues as project tickets - keeps tickets close to the code and GitHub added value stuff. Management add project management metadata on top
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better than any of that atlassian ****. I've used 10 such products over 24 years of work. Best I've seen.

It keeps me updated on the project status via notifications on mobile or desktop

I don't find anything that I don't like. Every features of monday.com are beneficial.

There's a lot of problems we had when we don't have this platform. We can't track our tasks, but now we can track and keep our boss be updated.

monday.com provides an amazingly easy to use platform that consolidated a lot of our existing software packages.
What do you dislike about the product?
We found that some of the messaging was confusing when it came to users vs seats vs guests.

What do you like best about the product?
We like how highly customizable Monday.com is. It's not a one-trick pony. kanban, gantt charts, check lists..

Amazing project management platform
What do you like best about the product?
I think the most useful thing about Monday is the flexibility. I haven't even dug into all of the capabilities - seems like they are neverending. There is something for every use case that we've run into so I'm very happy with it overall.

I haven't found anything that I dislike yet :)

The ability to customize boards and workspaces depending on the user or project has been SO helpful.
My favorite functions are 'sub items' and 'dependancy.' The automations are so user friendly, and integrating with other platforms such as Slack is super easy as well.

Simple, yet powerful

Easy to set up and easy to get users onboard.

There is so much one can do with it, it is hard to know where to start. It would be great if they had even more examples one could see.

We have a single board that gives everyone the ability to see and act on documents that need to be approved by several groups before being sent out.
Excel on steroids
What do you like best about the product?
Back in the days, I was using Excel to track, well, everything. My monthly budget, project's progress, to-do lists. Even my wedding party. It was simple, highly customizable, did the job. And, what's the most important, it was versatile. When Google introduced its Spreadsheets, I lost it. I was in heaven, walking on a Google Cloud, getting work done and stuff. When I thought it couldn't get any better, a friend of mine showed me Monday. O. M. G. Remember the duel scene from "Revenge of the Sith"? UNLIMITED POWAAAAH. Like taking your socks off after a long day, no kidding. But enough about me. I love all the things that make Excel excellent, plus the fact it gives you some powerful features that make it even better. You can run a billion-dollar company and have all the processes under control. You can set up a startup and make sure you won't overlook anything. Monday can replace dozen other tools: budget planning, scheduling marketing activities, oversee your sales process and many more. It doesn't matter if you offer services, run a production company, you're into SaaS, eCommerce, IT, retail - it will bring a lot of added value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the right tool stack is a part of my job. Personally, I can't point out any things I dislike regarding Monday. I know some may be overwhelmed by its complexity (I don't think it's a bad thing!) or find it problematic when switching from other tools. But let's be honest, we all used Excel at some point of our lives, and it's not THAT hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales and marketing planning, HR processes, task management, product backlog, bug tracking, project management, tracking monthly / quarterly / yearly progress in company's goals — all in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're taking Monday under consideration but are in the process of testing other tools - stop right there. Been there, done that. If it fits your needs, nothing else will do it better.
