Has helped me immensely in monitoring my SQL Server infrastructure
What do you like best about the product?
All the alert types (custom alerts and alerts by default) and the ability the retain the information for a certain period
What do you dislike about the product?
The custom reports are not very good in terms off choosing metrics to display on the report
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to create custom reports help me to prevent several king of issues
Enterprise scale monitor, great service
What do you like best about the product?
The customer support and sales process was excellent, from POC to implementation. We are now able to monitor our entire state, including non-SQL databases. It has integrated well into our tech stack as a cost-effective replacement for SQL Sentry.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are suggestions that it is not as advanced as a diagnostic tool compared to other options, such as SQL Sentry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Redgate Monitor is allowing us to monitor all of our Production servers across various database types.

Integration for SSO was complex for Okta

Monitoring and alerting for SQL performance concerns.

What do you like best about the product?
Provides real-time performance monitoring with an easy to read dashboard. Customizable alerting system is very useful and it helped us proactively address DB issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overwhelming for first time users, steep learning curve and costs are concerns for smaller organizations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us easily identify performance issues and slow-running queries. We relied on manual checks before and reactive troubleshooting, now with real-time alerts we can address problems before they start impacting our user base.
It works very well and the support is very fast

The dashboard it is quite interactive and clear

The way we have to configure some kind of alerts

We have many servers and it is impossible to look at them all separately.

It monitors not only the SQL Server but the actual server at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could provide more information related to the actual server.

It provides information on what the server was doing when an issue occurred along with some informational query data.
Good for database overview

In a simple way it gives me a good overview ofthe database environment on all layers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some minor UI features lacking such as tracking queries per user and make it more transparent what SQL server node is the active one in a cluster.

Helping use to identify issues with database systems on all layers, from hardware up to tsql.

Excellent product for monitoring SQL performance
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us real-time insights to what is actually going on with our SQL data. Very easy to configure and implement. Customer support has always been good when we've had an issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides that we have experienced so far

It allows us to monitor and get ahead of potential issues before they become real-world problems
Redgate monitor is an excellent tool to monitor your database infraestructure
