Love this product
What do you like best about the product?
This has allowed us to report on so many things that we couldn't with standard Salesforce reports. Not only that, it's FUN to learn and there are endless free resources out there so that beginners with no previous experience can become experts in time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is actually an abundance of learning resources out there, which was a bit overwhelming at first. It's hard to know where to start. But I did get hooked on it, went through a LOT of them, and ended up getting my certification after a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our standard Salesforce reports were timing out, we had a lot of data that took forever to query. We also wanted to link together things in the system for reporting that we could only do via recipes and uploading datasets in Tableau CRM. It was extremely helpful for that.
Tableau is the best Data Viz Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Reporting and Dashboarding features are the best. I have built high-quality dashboards using Tableau. It gives us the look and feel of that of a webpage. Compared to other BI tools, Tableau gives me an easy-to-use feeling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some charts have to build by following specific steps. For example, charts like the donut chart, Sankey diagram, Self Serve table etc., are not readily available in the Show me tab.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Building CRM Dashboards and Supply Chain Reports for various products. 2. Developing ad-hoc reports for immediate use. 3.Creating Analysis/Research Reports to get insights and provide recommendations
Fundamental for data analysis

Chance to create very understandable graphs that we use for data analisys
What do you dislike about the product?
Not so easy to create the graph at first sight
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collect all the data we have and make those easy to see and analize
Great BI Tool for Machine Learning Dashboards!
What do you like best about the product?
Once machine learning models are hosted, and real-time data is fed periodically for consumption in business applications, it is sometimes very important to analyse the results of the machine learning model. If I can update a dashboard that gets input from both the survey data and also the results of the machine learning model based on the survey data, then I can get more precious insights that can help in better business decision-making. A dashboard that caters only to data visualisation without much modelling capability is not of much use in this respect. Tableau allows integration with machine learning models through its analytics extension API. This great feature can be significantly leveraged to add more values to real-time feed data from surveys, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau has excellent features that tremendously simplify complicated data visualisation tasks. However, it also makes learning simple things tough - steep learning curve!! Though it can be termed as the cost to be paid for a simple UI with rich features, there is still tremendous scope for making things very simple!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau allows integration with machine learning models. It allows writing python code that can manipulate the data so that the results of the machine learning model can be used along with test data and other live feed data for further analysis on a real-time basis through dashboards that can update the insights live. With Tableau server/cloud subscription, it also allows the live dashboards to be launched online with suitable administrative control at very granular level. These features add tremendous value to the machine learning models and live dashboards

It is widely used for its user-friendly interface, ability to connect to a variety of data sources, as well as its flexibility in handling large amounts of data. Additionally, Tableau provides a wide range of customization options and can be easily integrated with other devices and systems, making it a versatile solution for data visualization needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost: Tableau can be expensive, especially for larger organizations requiring advanced features and capabilities.
Steep learning curve: While Tableau is designed to be user-friendly, some users may find the learning curve steep, especially those with limited experience with data visualization and analysis.
Performance: When working with large amounts of data, Tableau can become slow and unwieldy, negatively impacting the user experience.
Limited data preparation capabilities: While Tableau provides a range of data visualization and analysis capabilities, it has limited data preparation and cleaning capabilities, which means that users may need to clean and prepare their data in another tool before using Tableau.
Limited mobile support: While Tableau provides mobile capabilities, some users may find that the mobile experience is limited compared to the desktop experience.
These limitations should not be seen as a definitive negative evaluation of Tableau, as its benefits often outweigh the drawbacks for many users. However, it's essential to carefully evaluate your organization's specific needs and requirements before choosing a data visualization tool to ensure that it meets your needs and provides the best value.

Flexible, Easy-to-Use BI tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Tableau makes it to aggregate data at different levels. Need to switch between daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly? No problem. Need sum/avg/median, etc. No problem either. Compared to SQL, it's so much easier to explore your data visually and flexibly. I also like that I can embed LucidChart diagrams in my Tableau dashboards - this makes it much easier to document processes & logic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's difficult to see things at the aggregation you want to see them. Once I learnt how to create calculations and more specifically to use the FIXED syntax, this difficulty was partially resolved, but still, sometimes it's difficult to get Tableau to show things precisely the way you want them to look. This might be partially also because Tableau has so many different features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company has a wide variety of data that needs to be accessed by many teams with different needs. Tableau solves this problem for us and gives our data team time to focus on more complex and/or high-value projects.

What do you dislike about the product?
High cost and versioning are the major drawbacks of Tableau

It helped us to understand the warehouse raw data into visual format.
Derive better decisions and find answers to your problems
What do you like best about the product?
Learning curve is easy as it is just drag and drop, offering wide range of tools to perform basic to advanced analytics, build informative beautiful dashboards with all the data gathered from several sources. Also has some AI funtionalities behind the scenes that also helps in understanding the data better. It can take care of massive data sets in a simplified and effective way; the dashboards can be made custom according to the liking and offers fantastic collaboration options. Two outstanding feature of this tool that is especially helpful for producing quality reports is the presentation of data in live graphs and translation of queries to visualizations. Lastly would say the strong community base where I had faced issues regarding server issues, dashboards, sign-in glitches and I have received help within 1-2 hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost/Expense towards it is on the higher side as one does not use all of its features to the fullest, so they can make some more sub categories or packs to offer based on features.
Geo location information can be made better. Seems like it takes forever sometimes when you download huge data.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It basically helps in conveying what you want to say with the help of data, making you answer all the questions, concluding with taking the right decision that favours the business just by visual storytelling.
Tableau is a great data visualization and analysis tool
What do you like best about the product?
Undoubtedly what we like most about the Tableau platform is its data visualization and analysis capabilities; thanks to that, it offers special reports for our departments in charge of creating strategies to increase the productivity of our organization through our websites. It has intuitive dashboards, and its process of adapting to the management of each tool does not require prior training since it has a simple and quite dynamic interface. In case you need any advice or possible solution regarding any inconvenience Tableau platform offers a support service that is always attentive to providing its service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost to acquire the Tableau license is a little difficult to digest since I consider it a little expensive. I think it has many tools that allow you to focus the functionality of the platform on what you want, but there are so many tools that offer many of them do not get to use. Therefore I think they should create packages with fewer tools but with more considerable costs for the audience to have the opportunity to each of the packages offered with its set of tools and a customer to decide what to buy and not be so rigid in requiring the purchase of the full license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great benefits we have found thanks to the Tableau platform started by recognizing that today we have better project management, having a growth in the productivity of the organization. Tableau provides solid data analysis and visualization through reports and dashboards that every member of our organization can follow. There is much more order at the beginning of the workday since employees can enter these panels or reports to verify that everything is in order. If there is any problem, start the day by looking for a possible solution and thus maintain steady growth.
